- Extensive integrations with HRIS/payroll, file/content tools, and SSO providers.
- Built-in AI to surface context from your knowledge sources.

I love the usability of the platform. Trainual has made the platform very user-friendly and has provided amazing templates to move you through the documentation process.
Nothing to note at this time. I love that Trainual is always updating the platform to make it better! If items come up that need improvement I will be sure to share
I am solving the who, what, when, where, and why of the company. By having Trainual I am able to create a space to showcase who is a part of the company and who we are as a company. I am able to let people know when things are happening (Announcements) and when things are supposed to happen in a process (Policies and Procedures). We are also able to communicate why across the board by sharing our mission and vision, roles and responsibility and policies and procedures.
The people at Trainual are great, from the start with the person who demo'd Trainual to my Customer Success Mgr Will to the training support I received from Shawn and the helpdesk. Everyone is so quick to help, and they are so friendly. I would recommend them strictly for the support alone, although I like the system as well. It is easy to use and a great way to keep all our processes in one place where everyone can review them.
I wish we could customize a few different things, specifically around the notifications to staff with overdue items.
A great place to keep our processes where everyone can find them and it has been a great onboarding tool for our remote people.
Trainual is easy to use, for both creators and learners. Working with Trainual is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job and it makes everyone else's jobs easier. They update regularly and get better with each.
When their system has an issue, it can take a long time (weeks) to be fixed. We have at least one feature that we no longer attempt to use, because of how buggy it was each time we tried and how long it took to fix.
Trainual allows us to document each of the many processes, roles, and responsibilities across our growing company. When something new is done for the first time, we can record it so the wheel does not have to be invented again by the person who fills that role next time.
I love how easy the platform is to use. The team is incredibly responsive. The videos are informative to help you get completely set up. There is plenty of social proof, and the pricing is fair. I love Trainual.
I have yet to find things I dislike about Trainual. I'm excited to see how the software grows and scales as our team expands. Once you get it set up, it's pretty automatic.
Trainual is solving the issue of having documents in various drives with sharing permissions that could expose a company. It's a one-stop shop and takes time off managers when new employees come on board. There are also a lot fewer questions for HR when everything is centralized.
Love the loom video integration! Brilliant!
Sometimes hard to learn to organize, but that's operator error
Makes Training new employees great!
I like that I can go back and refer to my notes with questions.
Honestly, there is nothing bad that I can say about this program. I enjoy it!
If I am ever stuck and need help finding something. I can look back at my training and it's available all the time!
Triainual has become our primary location for all of our onboarding and training documents.
I do not dislike anything I just need to continue to learn how to better utilize all features.
We became a fully remote - cloud based company during Covid and we needed a central location for our remote employees to access all of our important information.
How easy it is to navigate the topics and find the things you need
Making changes and moving topics from one place to another can be diffucult
Finding answers to all topics in one place, being able to send links with answers
I love the ability to curate Trainual the way you need it! From embedding videos, to adding images, and standardizing headings. When I was searching for different software that I can use those same features were extra! I was told that they would not be used. I use it. Thank you for listening to all of your users not just the few. Their customer service is amazing! Always quick to answer and nice. Your webinars are one of my favorites (Asana being close behind) and I even recommend your webinars. Topics are great and I always look at what's the next webinar you're offering. Your newsletter is great, but it's a hit and miss. I tend to look for information that's applicable to content creation.
I wish was more image-friendly. I would love to be able to move images around to where I need them and not be so restricted on where to place them. Also, can you work with Snag it and Camtasia to incorporate them?
Our issue is that our training was kept in files and was not standardized. One change in process can mean that we are updating 3 processes across the company and then we had to communicate the changes. Now, I create a module, update as necessary, and assign it to whoever needs to be updated. Did I mention that I love the copy/paste of steps. You make my life easier.
Can complete training and review SOPs digitally
Would like an option to show that there is a spelling error
Record keeping
I do like that it is very user friendly. I like how easy it is to put new content in and push it out to the teams. I love the GIFs and how it makes my teams want to learn. The app is really easy to use. Also, the fact that I can see how far everyone is when it comes to completion is very much appreciated.
I wish you could incorporate signatures. Also, I wish the tests had more options as they are very one dimensional. I wish you could have more options when it came to security roles. I wish someone could request to add a user without having access to change content.
We are able to make changes quicker. Also, everyone is on the same page at the same time. We are able to give the employees their training manual and policy book at the fingertips 24/7 We were able to incorporate bios for our corporate team. (Got this idea from one of your templates) Our employees have said this is their favorite part and they love being able to connect more with our ownership.
I like the ability to manage onboarding and training for a variety of employees/employee levels.
Pricing increased over the years and the current plan I have does not allow me to track employee progress toward completion.
Able to decrease the work I have to do in reviewing policies and procedures because I have recorded that aspect for my employees. Allows me to spend time doing other things!
helps to better organize work, better and easier training of new team members
Nothing to dislike so far. Everything is perfect
the advantage is easier organization of training of new people
The platform is sleek and easy to use. Native functions are all useful.
It would be nice if there was a sponsored partner (3rd party vendor) that would assist trainual users to build out their playbooks. The templates are great, but an actual hands-on, white-glove experience (for a fee, of course) would be better.
Trainual is helping us to create an organizational chart for our company that is understandable and accessible.
The templates are great. Every question that I've ever asked has been answered. I love the flexibility that I have with building my company's trainings.
While the cost isn't terrible, my company is hesitant to upgrade due to the extra expense.
I've been able to take a very paper heavy onboarding process and make it totally digital. I'm also now writing all the SOP's in the company on this platform. It's great because everyone has access to the same information.
Easy to use and my team loves it. It makes our processes streamlined and easy to follow.
It can definitely be a bit spendy and hard to write all the content.
We needed a way to streamline our training and onboarding operation. This does that and more allowing for more productivity.
Trainual is an awesome tool to replace the outdated SOP manual. It offers ease of access to onboard new staff while offering a digital blueprint for roles and responsibilities.
I don't have any dislikes of the product. The only dilemma I have discovered is getting the rest of the team on board to use this new product. There is a bit of a learning curve.
We are solving the paper and time problems! No more printing training manuals, SOPs, or long zoom meetings to onboard team members. With a few clicks and a brief tutorial on how to use the tool, we were able to get new team members up to speed.
Being able to have everything in one place and able to track the employee's progress
Have not found any dislikes at this time
training and a place for all documents and training in one place.
That you can literally put everything you need to for training
so far nothing it is the best app there is out there
drivers can now go to their app instead of calling the office all the time to get questions answered
you can literally do anything on this app. Employees a can access anything you set permissions. its awesome
nothing at all, so far this app has everything that i need
new hire paperwork is now so easy, before i was priting everything out, such a waste of time. Employees are able to access the app from their phone, so cut back on calls to the office
Ease of use and great user interface. Having the ability to keep it branded so it feel like an internal system and provides a smooth
Analytics and reporting could be better. Quite difficult to see overall usage and adoption easily
Getting everything in one centralised accessible place and don't having to source information from multiple silos
The customizability of content and who can see what trainuals we create are easily controlled (i.e. accounting dept only, or HR dept only, or Sales Team only, etc).
When you are editing photos in the editor, I wish the settings you pick in the tools pallet are saved the whole time you are creating that trainual (meaning, if you pick the RED crayon tool, just let the crayon tool's color stay red every time you open the photo editor, instead of it reverting back to orange every time I go back in it.)
New Hires for high-turn-over positions are now able to basically train themselves. We have a high-turn-over part time admin assistant position. Basically on day 1 now a new hire for that position can log into their trainual account and follow step-by-step instructions for their tasks with screen shots and pictures, and I never have to stop what I'm doing to sit with them and show them how to do it. I allow them to edit the trainual content they are using if they find a better or easier or more efficient way to do the tasks, and the love that they are contributing in a helpful way and get to be creative. I love that I can hire someone knowing the trainuals are going to get they up and running in no time, without any real effort from me, which is good for the company overall. The New Hires have really liked the trainuals we have. Even I used trainuals that I made for myself for those weird one-off tasks that I only have to do once or twice a year, but when I have to do them, I forget how to it right in our very complicated ERP accounting software. I open up the trainual on one screen, and follow along with at, as I do the task in the ERP system on the other screen, and only have to do it once, and do it correctly the FIRST TIME. It's awesome.
A very structured organized training platform that enables you to work at your own pace and most importantly, track your process. As a user, I not only use this as a training tool but it is my main source of reference company policy, procedures, and resources to help me succeed in my career. It is an integral part of my work environment.
Difficult to come up with a downside. Maybe one downside is that I can't plead ignorance for missing some company procedure as Trainual tracks my progress in reviewing these policies. lol
Consistent training for all users. One major benefit is that in an ever-changing, dynamic business environment, training requirements can be updated quickly and distributed to all users seamlessly.
It is incredibly user-friendly to both setup, as well as be an end-user! It has completely changed how our Practice stores and accesses information about our business.
Nothing so far! Truly the only way it would be better is if it already knew all of our information and had it stored.
Staff access to current Practice information, keeping everyone on same page of what to do, when to do it, and how to do it!
Trainual is very easy to use. There are multiple ways to convey the information so that all learning styles are available to your staff. It is easy to update. And you can track assigned subjects with each staff member. It also allows you to design the information to mirror your company's organizational structure. I love it! And recommend it to my clients.
One thing that I dislike is that if you want to move a topic to a different subject, you can't. That would be a great feature to include in the future.
The problems being solved with Trainual are: the ability to access the same needed information at a multi-location practice; saving time onboarding new employees; increased accountability; easy to update systems and processes; tracking of training
Going to one place for policies, procedures, and Training
Just a small bug (that is getting work on by engineers) that causes a glitch on Chrome.
Keeping the 6 plus locations on the same page.
It is structured in such a way that helps it be not overwhelming but can be inviting to add information and have others review it.
There is no dark background mode that I know of. dark mode really helps with my eyesight
Training new employees is a breeze
Very intuitive and customizable platform.
At this time, I do not have any complaints.
We are eliminating/minimizing repetitive onboarding and training questions through the readily available training resources available in the 'Library', and the Library is an ever-growing resource for our Company.
The best thing about trainual is the ease of use to create indepth training systems for entire teams - to be able to allow access to separate modules to different departments and roles, and allow further access when they have reached a training milestone
The ability to add tags to training would allow for you to make a more searchable database to find bulk info sectioned into findable sections quickly to break the linear system of training when re-reviewing content you ay have already been thorugh
Upksilling our remote team, to be able to quickly learn the agency's systems to ensure that every team member feels included within the company, to receive the same information as our inhouse team.
It's so easy to create content in Trainual! Team members frequently comment on how organized the training is and how easy it is to consume.
Occasionally I notice a minor glitch, but Trainual's support team is immediately responsive, and if they don't have a solution right away, they escalate to their developers and always follow up with me until the issue is resolved.
Trainual allows me to create & organize content. I love how I can monitor each team member's completion rate as well.
