I like the ease of use and how intuitive it is to pick this up. Easy to train someone on.

Zesty is such a simple tool to use in creating a CMS website. I met with a colleague for an intro, got an account to experiment with, and built two whole site concepts within two weeks! The Parsley code used is straightforward to understand, and there are some excellent documentation and youtube videos to learn if required. I started with a completely blank structure, and then added my own SCSS and JS and being able to organise and code in the browser was super helpful and fast.

It would be beneficial if zesty had a way of creating pages and schemas using the layouts tool. The layouts tool is okay to reorganise content, but it would be great if you could add more fields and layout it out in one place instead of adding it to the schema and coming back. I did not use the layouts plugin in the end because it did not really help me. A future addition would be duplicating fields in a layout tool and rearranging them.

Zesty gives an easy-to-use and fairly powerful CMS system that does not cost the earth. It is easy to use from a content editor's point of view, and also any level of developer could use this reasonably easily.

I like that the interface is super user-friendly without the need for a background in web design.

The search function doesn't pull up what I would expect it to when searching for items I have been asked to update.

Zesty is allowing the company to host and modify websites for Veterinary clinics with ease.

I can easily update my website without having to involve our web developer. Our old feedback loop from engineering to marketing now seems antiquated.

Recent features like previewing content live and multiple tabs have fixed what I used to dislike. They seem to always introduce new functionality.

I like how easy it is to use Zesty. The UI is straightforward and intuitive. There's no guesswork when navigating Zesty, and everything is easy to find and even easier to use. I especially like their "search" function as we have alot of content and using the search function is a great way to find older content as fast as possible.

There's nothing I dislike about Zesty. UI is intuitive. Helpful tools. And easy nacigation. What's not to like?

The way it's all structured, having the ability to create content models and defining subsequent content based on those models. Nice!!

Most of the product team guys are nontechnical, so any small idea they have has to go through the entire dev process, which is lengthy so with Zesty, they can make changes without involving a code change

Easy to edit for marketing team. Easy for developer to develop the pages.

There is no javascript support for parsley code.

There were long process of marketing team sending us the data and we developers need to update that data on pages. Because of Zesty, marketing team can now update the data and check the changes before publishing it.

There's not much to dislike about Zesty, but as with many tech products, your success comes from how well you know the platform - how to take advantage of it and how to avoid the pitfalls. To implement challenging projects, developers will need good knowledge of the platform to implement efficient code, so you shouldn't expect an inexperienced developer to succeed right out of the gate without spending the time to learn the platform.
