Compare Adobe Bridge with other popular tools in the same category.
That all files types turn into thumbnails for easy viewing and searching. I also love the option to add keywords for advanced searching. As a designer, I have a large file for all my assets and bridge makes it easy to search and sort through them all.
That the views from folder to folder don't stay the same.
I constantly aim to be as efficient as possible and bridge really allows me to do that.
I like that bridge is right in line with other adobe products; the buttons are the same, so it's easy to learn.
I wish it looked more modern. Adobe could use a visual update.
I'm solving design problems involving lighting, color, and correcting. I've realized this is a universal tool that can help in a plethora of situations.
Organizing and batch editing. I also like that I can see my EXIF info for files.
The menus and navigation is a bit confusing.
I am able to now batch edit and rename files which saves me a lot of time
I like that it allows me to browse a huge amount of images in one spot quickly.
Nothing I dislike about the software. Adobe products are easy to use and with the software the similarities in using tools are the same.
When I have clients needing specific images, I used Adobe Bridge to find the image I need.
Bridge is my favorite software by far for photo and file management. Within using Bridge for photo organization and file sorting, Bridge allows me to collect, collate and organize photoshoots and graphics in the easiest of ways.
The cost of Bridge. Along with the Adobe products, Bridge is one that should be available standard with all computers. As a Mac user, Finder is a great feature, but doesn't collect in the data in a compact and easy way.
The benefits have been immense. Within my art department there are about 4 employees. We use bridge to make selects on our photos, collect and share data, and have a great interface to collaborate.
It's included with Creative Cloud/Suite, so there is no additional software to source or buy. I really like the star rating system that allows you to rank and then sort your assets.
It's not the most intuitive and it sometimes takes a while to load folders with a lot of media.
There are a lot of useful features in Adobe Bridge, but it can take some research and training to figure it all out. Once you have a handle on it though it can improve workflow and save time.
What I like best about this product is it really organizes my photos for me and is a great way to track down exactly what I am looking for.
The thing I sometimes dislike about this product is the fact that it can be extremely slow at times, which makes my editing process slow and I want to get things done in a short span of time.
Easy organization of photos
I love that I can easily go through hundreds of photos and mark them with different ratings as I go. Then I can easily sort by how I rated them to easily eliminate the ones I don't want to use without deleting them.
Sometimes it can take a while for the previews to load when looking through many photos or large files.
Photo culling and light retouching. I love that I can use Camera Raw straight from Bridge to retouch photos... sometimes I don't even need to open them in photoshop!
The best part is the easy transition between any adobe program. Easy to edit and select images with out leaving the Adobe work space. It has great label and filtering options so you can customize the space in a way it is best for you working style.
UI design of Navigation buttons is outdated, buttons and fonts are very small.
Designing print and online colateral material, websites and mobile apps. Benefits are a much faster work peace thanks to easy collaboration between adobe apps and less stress work environment thanks to a organized file finding.
Ease in adding images whenever adding images to my design work.
Can't think of anything. I like the app and the way it works.
Being able to add to my workflow efficiency. Saving time when working with Adobe apps by having all my images available in one place.
