Adobe Dreamweaver is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud which also includes Photoshop and Indesign. The platform lets you create and design websites, with a combination of visual and HTML editing tools. With Dreamweaver, web designers have the option to build fully responsive sites and bring their ideas to life, especially in terms of design and functionality. The solution also offers multimonitor support for Windows and is most suitable for developers with extensive coding knowledge.

it helps me to customize everything in a design effectively and also to manage it, the updations are also easy. the next interesting feature was that it helps to view the design in each device types
I cannot easily understand the code aftert the developed process it gets more complex there might be better if we could specifically manage the code
As a web and app designer and developer it helps me a lot to design good designs for my clients
Adobe Dreamweaver has a wide range of development tools that can be used to create any website. The tools featured in the software are very effective and easy to use.
For beginners, Dreamweaver may be tricky to learn to use initially, as there are many features and tools which may be overwhelming for beginner developers learning by themselves.
Dreamweaver is an excellent website developing software, and is capable of developing high quality and functional websites. For website developers of any level, once they become familiar with the software, it becomes their greatest tool.
I like that you have free range to design a website to be whatever you want it to be and function however you want it to work.
Nothing to dislike; I have not had any issues while using Dreamweaver so far.
I am learning how to code Html and use CSS. I want to learn this to better myself professionally, and Dreamweaver is helping with that!
I use Adobe products for a variety of needs. Dreamweaver is visually pleasing across tablets, monitors, phone screens and laptops. It makes it possible to reach people where they are.
I am not a strong coder - but getting there. It takes a little time to ramp up and get my skills aligned. There are hints to help along the way.
We are a small business competing with larger firms with bigger budgets. We are the IT and design team. Adobe products help us focus on our work AND create our site.
I love that I can toggle view modes, from code to design or live view mode. I also love the keyboard shortcuts that I found on their website. I also like that I can do the quick edit CSS feature.
I don't particularly like that. It is a bit expensive to buy for personal use. I think that it should be available for beginner programmers so they can use once they have a full time job.
I take care of my 12 city websites with this fantastic tool. I like that I can organize sites by folder, and also I can be more productive using the third-party tools for version control so I can finish faster my quick updates.
The ease of use and the astounding amount of information out there to help you learn to use dream weaver
Nothing really. I think it's great and it definitely makes things easier.
Needing webpages and not wanting to go through building them from scratch. This makes that easy.
Honestly the simple stuff. The collapsing code blocks. Creating a style in the body and having DW auto fill the head style rather than having to recall it completely.
I wish I could customize the look and feel a little more
I used it for all my programming. Even when using a WYSIWYG editor I copy the code back into Dreamweaver out of comfort and reliability
I like the new feature that they have just introduced, the ability To take your design and import it to the software
I wish the program had and auto refresh setting so that I can see the changes that I make in the preview screen
The software was and is awesome for some one learning to develop website especially if you have a background in graphic design
ActionScript ,Active Server Pages ,Syntax Highlighting. Syntax Checking.
Nothing as of now , web design and an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) application
modern web designing we can use it its very user friendly tool
I liked that the asset tags were linked and the freedom of moving selections
I dislike the large learning curve required to build a website when compared to the prebuilt web developing apps
the knowledge base and training required are worth the time invested
The best when it comes to web building and the creative interface makes it very fun
Sometimes adobe is slow to respond to errors that get reported and issues with crashing
Web development, extremely creative content for website
I really like that it's a total integrated development environment.
I feel like Dreamweaver has a tendency to slow down and/or crash more than any other CC program.
We're now able to do more web maintenance in-house.
The code is color coordinated. There are also formatting features within Dreamweaver that can be used to format your code. Another extremely useful feature is the snippets saving. This saves me a lot of time.
It would be nice if snippets could be saved and transferred to other users within the system. Instead, I currently have to manually copy and paste and save somewhere if I want to pass this on.
I use this on a daily basis and it's extremely convenient and a familiar system to me. Everyone else on my team uses it as well so we can coordinate. A huge benefit is using the snippets so that I do not have to retype everything from scratch, instead I can reuse.
It's a good software for web design because you can write your codes and run them. Also, adobe dreamweaver is nice because you can synchronize with live server via ftp.
too heavy and consume a lot of space. It crashes at times.
Website design and management
Code View or WSIWYG view equally reliable.
Nothing that I dislike about this software.
I design, develop and maintain multiple websites every single day using Dreamweaver.
I used this to create and make edits to webpages for work. It made the coding easy and lines easy to find for editing quickly. I was great to use.
There was nothing that I remember disliking about it. I was pretty easy to use and made my job easier.
I used it to edit we pages quickly and easily. The visualization of the the webpage would look like before replacing online helps a ton.
To create a website, modify it or update it, you simply need Adobe Dreamweaver. It has all the necessary features. The visual editor and the split view greatly facilitate the work. The "live view" is excellent.
Many functions often correspond to many difficulties. Definitely not a software suitable for those who do not know HTML or Java well enough. The large number of "buttons" can confuse the less experienced, and takes some time to learn how they works. Even the minimum system requirements are not the lowest.
With Dreamweaver I made some full websites, without the use of any other software.
I work with a platform that isn't very user friendly and need to take my source code out and plug into dreamweaver. The split view is amazing and helps me quickly figure out what I need to do and see it happen live.
The ONE thing I really dislike about dreamweaver is whenever I need to copy my source code and paste it I have to highlight the entire code from top to bottom and sometimes that gets REALLY long. I would love it if there was just a double click that highlighted the entire code (maybe there is and I just don't know about it) or something that I could do that without having to highlight the entire code.
My employer is using a VERY outdated cms for email marketing and dreamweaver helps me set up emails light years faster than if I were to do it in this platform we have. It really has helped me with time management and accuracy when using html.
It is perfect for those who have had experience with some level of web development but also want to use a professional firm for difficult web design tasks.
I worry if it'll be useful in a few years with all the development advancements going on.
Easy edits to a website along with uploading files to a server. Also, design review.
