"Absolutely the worst"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

It has a red icon, which looks nice in the dock next to the other CC apps if you don't mind burning out the red sub pixels in that tiny swatch of your screen faster than the rest.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

The application is nearly unusable. Freezes or unexpectedly quits frequently and with little or no provocation. Importing anything to the stage or library can cause an infinite loop to be triggered with the lovely beach ball of death. Autosaves frequently disappear permanently or do not trigger. Using the scroll wheel causes the stage to move or zoom so far and fast the only way to find it again is to press Cmd+0. The interface is fundamentally still the same garbage as when Macromedia made it, just with a light dusting of one of Adobe's 12 different user interface designs.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was trying to animate a music video, but it turns out it's easier to just reinvent the entire animation industry. The only benefit was that I realized I was grateful Steve Jobs had the foresight to banish Flash from the iPhone.

"New pricing model is not practical"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Illustrator had a lot of nice features and was easy to use.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Adobe changing to a monthly subscription based pricing model was a huge downfall for me as a freelance designer. I just couldn't afford it.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used to use Illustrator for everything from digital projects to print layouts.

"Only use this if you have to"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

I like the SASS and LESS preprocessors being built in

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

I dislike the proprietary nature of the program. The open web doesn't belong to Adobe, so they should follow some standards set in place by every other code editor.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Coding websites

"Overpriced for what it is"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Adobe Dreamweaver is a good and solid program but isn’t worth anything close to what Adobe charges for the creative cloud. For I didn’t have it at work, I wouldn’t use it.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Very, very expensive for questionable return. The Creative Cloud is pricing itself out of the market; meanwhile worthwhile alternatives are low cost and growing in popularity.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

I don’t personally believe Adobe Dreamweaver solves any business problems that other programs could not address. However, having a Creative Suite that is comprehensive is probably the only reason Adobe has managed to stay around.

"Overpriced, reduced functionality, terrible support."
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

It's great for editing videos if you need complex features - but only if your clips are in the right format.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Severely lacking support for very common file formats such as SVG, webm, or even mp4 in some cases - especially when using a mac. Support responses are often lazy and promise everything is coming 'soon' but can't even confirm if features are being considered or is in progress.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Video editing & compilation.

"This graphic design software is trash."
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

I like absolutely nothing about this software. It's very slow and glitchy which is what makes it trash.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

The interface isn't very friendly. It's very slow and won't get anything right. Every time I type text, the output is something else. IIt takes me 10 minutes just to give a shape a fill color.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm not solving anything and there are no benefits. I will say this 1,000 times: THIS SOFTWARE IS TRASH.

What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

There is nothing that I like about this software. I guess it is useful for making books.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Everything. This software is super un-intuitive and difficult to use. Adobe really missed the mark on this one.

"There are better options"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Dreamweaver is a text editor that has all the basic features you’d expect

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

It’s clunky, and focuses more on the WYSIWYG features over the true programming / text edit abilities

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Used it for web design, and it’s better than just using a plain text editor, but there are better options available

"Industry standard...for a price"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

I like pretty much all the uses for Photoshop. It is an excellent tool, and It is definitely the industry standard and can do just about anything you need. I use it for mocking up websites and for light photo editing.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Photoshop is the most expensive software I've ever used. Some people find it worth it, I do not. It loads terribly slow, always asks me to sign in at random times, and the worst part is (aside from the price) their support is TERRIBLE. I couldn't get ahold of anyone, and when I finally did, I couldn't understand a word the guy said, and they directed me to their support forums.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's the industry standard. I use it as the first step in the website creation process, and I use it to create all the deliverables required for the project.

"Doesn't stack up to Sketch."
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

I can't say that there is anything I like about XD.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Symbols aren't as powerful as they are in Sketch. You can't do overrides, nested symbols, etc. The vector drawing tools are not as powerful. Even just selecting multiple elements in different groups are not as convenient as they are in Sketch. The whole supposed advantage of XD is that you can do everything in one platform: design, prototype, and create design specs. But each of those respective tools aren't as good as the alternatives out there, so we find ourselves using Proto.io, and Zeplin anyways, negating any potential advantage to using XD.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have an Adobe CC license already, so it saves money for us to use XD.

"falling short, left behind in dust and basically irrelevant today"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

the live view and responsive-testing features, link checking are all amazing with Dreamweaver CC. the ongoing subscription to the program isn't worth their previous model since the app like never has updates.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

It is too expensive and doesn't work well with platforms like Business Catalyst or WordPress. The new features aren't documented very well. It is barely relevant any more because most apps are cloud-based or online for user experience.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Troubleshooting code, and even writing from scratch is must faster now due to validation and best practices for finding and fixing issues but also ensuring a good responsive/mobile experience.

"Beautiful yet difficult"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Dreamweaver code suggestion feature and code highlighting that helps you quickly scan your code and spot any errors.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

Learning Dreamweaver can be really daunting just by the user interface alone. It takes patience to learn the system.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

N/A

"Dreamweaver Lags Behind"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

My favorite feature of Adobe Dreamweaver is the ability to preview HTML alongside my HTML/CSS code. I also enjoy the handful of mobile preview options available.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

The user interface for Dreamweaver is dated, and often crashes when writing longer or more complex code. It is difficult for Dreamweaver to keep up with newer code.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dreamweaver serves as an additional text editor, but has fallen out of fashion in favor of Adobe's open source code editor Brackets. Dreamweaver was previously used regularly when coding all front-end client template assets; enabling my team to complete their work at all.

"Am I the last Dreamweaver user?"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

I edit very simple sites on this software. I like the file management system.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

The layout in general. It just isn't a great solution to web design anymore. (Sorry Adobe). It was very good when many websites were using HTML and CSS layouts, and its useful when you get a new client that uses those. But not great for much else. Also it's incredibly confusing for a new beginner.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

The business of editing simple css/html sites. When we started our business, a lot of our clients had very simple HTML sites tha required editing. It was a great tool then but I don't see adobe rushing to make it about anything more than that. With Muse, XD and whatever else they're planning I'm sure pretty soon we won't even need to think about coding so this really will be obsolete.

"best editing software for photographers and those who also creates print layout designs"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

I like that the program is so universal that its designed for photo editing mostly but if you need to design a flyer, ad, postcard or any other simple design job you can probably get it done within Photoshop. This program is a must have for photographers who like to make there images a little better or make their work into a masterpiece.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

the program can be a little time consuming depending on the project your doing, I just whish there was just a way to speed things up. On some projects I have to open up the project in other programs to get what I am needing done completed without spending lots of time on just one step of the project. Time is money and some editing jobs within photoshop can tale a little long and I tend to take the project into other programs that tends to do the same kind of work but faster than take the project back into photoshop to complete it.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use photoshop for photo editing and also print layout designs

"Maybe it's better now?"
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

I used Dw over 10 years ago. I liked that it was drag and drop but ultimately decided to learn to code and build sites myself instead.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

The software was rather clunky. Limiting compared to what you can do via coding. Maybe it's different now? I think I will re-download it again and see what I think about the way it is currently.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm not currently using this software. I used it over 10 years ago and didn't care for it at that point.

"Leaves a lot to be desired."
What do you like best about Adobe Creative Cloud?

The only thing that I like about Dreamweaver is the IDEA that you can "visually code." As a graphic designer, the idea of creating code by using drop-down menus and tables sounds nice, but in reality, these features are unreliable and glitchy to say the least.

What do you dislike about Adobe Creative Cloud?

The errors, the inconsistencies, the inability to visually design using the program's features. All I end up using Dreamweaver for is to physically code. The smart features never work and the styling functions are completely useless.

What problems is Adobe Creative Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

If I want to straight-up code and keep things consistent by using Adobe software - Dreamweaver is fine. However, I much prefer using software like Brackets over Dreamweaver.
