The customer service at Big Commerce is simply fantastic! Reps are responsive and knowledgable.
There are some design modifications that require customization and prevent us from getting exactly what we want.
Healthcare providers can now purchase flu vaccine on a modern, functional website without contracts. Orders and payments can be placed online.
Apps are easy to install and use. Themes are beautiful and functional
The new theme files are hard to edit. Also creating a tree diagram site is difficult

BigCommerce has been here for me and my business from the start. They are continuously rolling out new features to help build my business!
The only thing I dislike is not being able to properly sync my store with google analytics and adwords. I have reached out to both BigCommerce and Google and each company points there finger at the other guy. Just wish I could get some help, I need to know my ROI. Also wish I could use a Premium SSL on my silver Status platform.

We find the analytics on BigCommerce very easy to use and useful especially for tracking our social media engagement during a campaign - the abandoned cart feature is also very useful.
Up until now, the limitation with AfterPay but it seems like that is all about to change!
Very easy control over customer info, gst reports etc and the abandoned cart feature has increased our abandoned cart sales

The ease of use and the ability to customize the design or the options to do exactly what I need. BigCommerce offers easy to customize theme files that allow me to edit exactly what I need easily and quickly.
Lack of free themes after the update to Stencil from Blueprint. Some ecommerce solutions like Shopify offer their customers more free themes to choose from which can then be customized. While BigCommerce does offer online customizations without the need for any html more free themes would be great.
We struggled to find a way to sell our products online. Our products are highly customized and require a lot of options and swatches, as well as rules, BigCommerce has allowed us to sell online easier than any other platform has. After trying Squarespace we quickly realized it wasn't made for robust items and then we tried BigCommerce and we were blown away.
We are a small shop and the POS inventory integration with our Square account is the best!
We are still trying to figure out how to switch our custom domain from our former host to our Big Commerce website.
We were searching for a way for us to not over sell our one-of-a-kind products. We did that once with a handcrafted product, and it was a mess!
I highly recommend BigCommerce. It's so easy to use, and really helped me when I started building my store. I had started off on Etsy and really wanted to branch out and create my own store. I didn't know the first thing about how to start my own, and BigCommerce made it extremely easy to figure out. The layouts/themes they have available are easy to edit, and you'll have your store up and running in no time. BigCommerce was the most reasonably priced that I came across, and they offer so much more than other places that I researched. I recommend them to everyone I know who is a small business owner, and I am completely satisfied with my experience using BigCommerce!
I have not disliked anything so far, and I've been using it for more than a year.
I love the way their stats page is set up, it makes it so easy to learn more about my sales and customers.
