The multiple payment providers is particularly my favorite. Bigcommerce provides a variety of payment providers from both Android and Apple platforms and other offline payment providers as well. Matter of fact, whatever payment provider you use or want to use, there's a high percent chance it's compatible with bigcommerce
Haven't found anything other than lesser integrated apps or rather lesser major integrations. While there's a lot of apps that can cover for some of the major apps and marketplaces out there.. these cover or back up apps don't work as efficiently as the major apps/marketplaces themselves. But other than this problem, Bigcommerce is good to go
The integrations is the only problems I have with bigcommerce. I look to use API as the customer support advised me to but from the other end, it's another problem which just keeps going off making the situation more complicated. Bigcommerce already has the apps I need to run my business but some marketplaces I am looking to establish my business in, they're absent.
The main reason I prefer bigcommerce is not because its affordable but what it offers or what comes with the subscriptions that other counterparts don't offer. By now everyone should know that Bigcommerce stands above everyone ecommerce site when it comes to importing limits, customer service, apps and integrations, modern theme marketplace and more. Bigcommerce is my favorite because they put the customers first and are always there when you need help with something either on your end, or a bug on their system.
What i really dislike is the themes are madd expensive. Like c'mon please reduce the prices so I can upgrade my store's looks and feel. One of my favorite themes there i couldn't even look at because the price made me feel broke but apart from that the theme I use is fine, my store's up and running well. Everything is going smoothly and so far so good.
No problems so far. I have tried lots of features and apps and the integration between Facebook and Instagram has really been simplified and its now way easier. All the benefits I have realized, I mentioned above. Unlike its counterparts, Bigcommerce offers more with its subscriptions than all the other sites I've tried.
BigCommerce has provided me with so many useful tools up front, without needing to pay for extra add-ons or higher pricing tiers. When I've needed support, their team has been very quick to respond to all my communications.
The stock themes are pretty bland, especially compared to Shopify storefronts, and there are still just a couple of features that don't have native support yet. Things like product backorders, more options for automatic promotions, and dynamic banners, popups, and widgets. Integration with QuickBooks could be improved.
BigCommerce gave me the space to showcase my entire catalog on my terms, instead of being limited to the Etsy framework (or marketplaces in general). I'm also saving money by paying a flat monthly fee, instead of a commission on every sale - like I used to pay on Etsy, and like I'd be paying on the comparably-priced level of Shopify. I've gained much more flexibility in managing my online presence, especially with all the app and channel integrations, like MailChimp, Yotpo, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and others.
Ease of use. Much easier and stable than others
Needs better accountability for problems by team. Google analytics for bc4wp doesn't work, which kills AdWords. They need to fix asap. Need to fix cls google page speed asap. It fails with cornerstone default theme and kills seo
Much easier than magento.
Admin area of BigCommerce is very user friendly and easy to use. There are a lot of useful 3rd party integrations that are always available to take advantage of the latest technology.
Custom updates to themes can be a bit tricky if you're not too technically savvy. But this could just be because I don't use this feature often so I might just be unfamiliar.
BigCommerce has been a cost-effective way to have an e-commerce store for the "little guys".
The unlimited products you can sell. As many or little as you want.. you can sell different kinds of products and also they give you a grace period if you want to extend your free trial or if you have problems keeping up with invoice and publishing payments they still help you with it.
It doesn't have some core apps like shopify.. like tapcart.. GotIt and other apps I can use to get my site and products in alot of places.
I haven't had any problems yet.. maybe along the way but I'm still to find some. For benefits.. can't really think of any
The customer service is wonderful. Every single time we've conacted them they have helped us resolve any issues.
More beginner videos instead of town halls would be great so we can take advantage of easy tools to amp up our site.
Needed a better way to sell our products and BigCommerce was the best fit for our business.
Its assured marketing operations, its formation of purchase link stability, account maintenance launches, online store opening conditions in a simple way, integrating content delivery mailboxes, activation of intelligent organizational resource sharing services, creation of enriched content with customer acquisition, management of artificial intelligence handling, analysis of customer data import, digital marketing tools arrangement, api server innovation, shared network modulation, statistical performance production financing, are all driven by bigcommerce software.
The bigcommerce software has problems in providing downloads of databases of collaborative origin, because its direct sales mechanisms maintain disproportions of adjustment of campaigns, followed by a sample deconfiguration of deliveries of messages, which prevents them from being generated greater performances of purchase volume in my company, decreasing the quality of business imports work within my platform, having to be triggered a valuation of e-commerce in the cloud to establish different and more accurate patterns of sharing administrative business results.
Bigcommerce has been operated in a professional way, thanks to its incredible economic preparation force of combined negotiations, it manages a robust programmatic behavior of simple web navigation, where it is operated through cloud communications, campaign production cost encryptions, channel opening time reductions, continuous regulated product budget focus, The creation of self-learning templates, systematization of multi-platform technologies, grouping of billing histories, programming of intelligent customer relations, cyber-security equipment in the cloud, visualization of tools with options for safeguarding your panels in real time, have helped my company to familiarize itself with successful asset control operations.
It Was fun nice and easy to use it and my opinion is good
There is no tutoriel and it is not intuitive
To organize my work
Easy of use. As fara as designing and settign up the website.
Shipping options very limited for large items and freight. This has always been a struggle for us with bigcommerce and there is only one provider for that.
Our eCommerce platform. Getting our products online which in turn led to our sales online.
This is a very easy program to use. We can have people with minimal training using it very quickly. Very intuitive and easy on the eyes.
There are occasional issues with the software, but they generally work to resolve the issues in a reasonable amount of time.
We used to have an older website that did not manage our inventory or offer online sales. The companies who went on like that aren't around anymore, we are still business because of BigCommerce.
BigCommerce is smooth and simple to use and their customer service is very responsive
It takes BigCommerce very long to implement changes, even when there are a number of customer who desperately need the change
We no longer need a full time developer, but we have an awesome website!
It's way better than other ecommerce platforms because of its modern design and ease of use of the many tools it presents...
There's nothing much that can be disliked on BigCommerce, but they should offer a free version not only to test on a certain time but also to encourage amateur entrepreneurs to get with them
We have used BigCommerce on a certain time of our project and had benefitted of a great support from them
There is a widget/plugin for just about anything that you want to add to the website. Want an email form field? Plugin. Want dynamic categorization? Plugin.
Not many developers have a ton of experience with BigCommerce.
Running a multimillion dollar website with BigCommerce has been profitable for us.
I enjoy the features the have for reports. I really like to send things to excel and look at that data. You can send anything from any time period in a excel sheet. Also you can easily generate those reports.
Shopify has a lot of apps for free and cheap. Bigcommerce does not have as many apps.
Serving our customers better with more info.
The administration has a less complex interface for choosing item classifications and other essential SEO components. It has a ton of free layouts, this is an extraordinary preferred standpoint just as the capacity to alter them. We additionally employ an originator and change the standard layouts precisely as we require them.
I might want them to add more chances to import information, classifications and items.
Lessen time to market and Functionality and execution of the item.
So many options to chose from. Like the fact that it's compatible with godaddy.
How confusing it was at first however bigcommerce. Gets easier after you understand the layout.
Sales and customer service
Everything is preset, it's really plug and play. Just set up your details and product information and your good to go. Lots of apps ready to be added in to connect to enhance your experience.
As much as we like having everything set fr you, sometimes we would like to be able to customize features. When we need to do so we have to reach out to developers to write the script. Also reporting features could be a bit better.
We were able to launch our website without much fanfare. We will do much modifications in the future but this was a great start.
Big Commerce is a great software tool for e-commerce websites. IT is easy to use, learn, navigate, etc. I am able to see reports, orders, and much more
I dislike that there are SO many features! I know this is a good thing but it is a little overwhelming when looking to do specific things or pull specific reports
e-commerce-promotions-marketing tracking, reporting, coupon code, order tracking, lists
Big Commerce is a great tool for small to medium sized businesses to use to run their e-commerce! It is great for tracking orders, reporting, promotions, and much much more! It provides a lot for the user!
I dislike all of the option and different ways of getting to reporting dashboards. It is sometimes confusing what you are actually looking but overall I dont really dislike that much
E-commerce, coupon codes, reporting, order tracking, analytics
