ClickMeeting Pros and Cons
- Supports full audio and video recording of live sessions
- Offers chatfunctionality and interactive sessions
- Integration with Facebook Live and YouTube for added engagement
- Supports HD video presentation for multiple presenters
- System delays caused by larger number of guests
- Lacks automatic transcription
- Relatively expensive
ClickMeeting is a European webinar platform that ships GDPR compliance and end-to-end encryption on every plan, including the free tier, and prices well below GoTo Webinar. For organizations that care where their attendee data lives, that combination is the reason to shortlist it. The trade-off is a smaller ecosystem and a less polished experience than the market leaders.
- What it is: Webinar and virtual event software covering live webinars, automated and on-demand webinars, meetings, and paid events.
- Best for: European businesses, educators, and trainers who need data residency and encryption without enterprise pricing.
- Pricing: Attendee-tiered. Widely reported entry pricing is around $32/month for Live and $48/month for Automated, with annual billing saving up to 20%. Verify on ClickMeeting’s page before buying, for the reason explained below.
- The honest catch: ClickMeeting does not publish prices in a way that can be read without configuring a plan, and prices scale by attendee tier from 25 up to 10,000.
What Is ClickMeeting?
ClickMeeting launched in 2011 in Gdańsk, Poland, originally as part of the GetResponse group before becoming an independent company. It has stayed focused on webinars rather than expanding into unified communications, and it competes primarily on price and European data handling rather than feature count.
That European origin is the most useful thing to understand about it. GDPR compliance and end-to-end encryption appear on every plan including the free tier, and the company operates under EU jurisdiction. For a European organization running webinars with customer data, that removes a category of legal review that a US-hosted platform can require.
The product covers three event types from one account: live webinars, automated and on-demand webinars for evergreen content, and standard online meetings. Paid events and donations are supported, so a trainer can charge for attendance without a separate commerce tool.
The independent rating is solid, on a modest sample: 4.5 out of 5 on Capterra across 181 reviews, with 91% positive sentiment. That is a much smaller evidence base than Zendesk or Trello, so weight it accordingly.
How ClickMeeting Works
- Live webinars. Browser-based with no installation, custom room branding, polls, surveys, Q&A, screen sharing, whiteboard, and a presentation tool. Streaming out to YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn is included.
- Automated webinars. The Automated plan turns recordings into scheduled or on-demand events, with automated reminders, certificates, and auto-streaming to social platforms. This is the evergreen marketing pattern, and it is the main reason to choose Automated over Live.
- Meetings and collaboration. Standard meetings with breakout rooms, so one subscription covers both webinars and internal calls.
- Edu mode. A dedicated teaching mode, reflecting how heavily ClickMeeting is used in education and training.
- Security on every tier. GDPR compliance and end-to-end encryption are available across all plans rather than reserved for enterprise, which is unusual.
- Monetization. Paid events and donations on Live and above.
ClickMeeting Pricing
A transparency note first, because it affects how you should read everything below. ClickMeeting’s pricing page renders prices dynamically once you select an attendee tier, and the figures are not present in the page source. That makes independent verification harder than for most vendors, and it is a fair criticism of the buying experience.
What is verifiable on the page, in July 2026:
| Plan | Attendees | Recording | File storage | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free Events | 25 | 30 min | 500 MB | 14-day trial, no credit card |
| Live | 50 to 1,000 | 6 hours | 1 GB | Custom branding, 3 multiusers, paid events and donations, live and AI transcription |
| Automated | 50 to 1,000 | 10 hours | 2 GB | Automated and on-demand webinars, automated reminders, certificates, auto-streaming |
| Enterprise | Up to 10,000 | From 10 hours | From 2 GB | Dedicated account manager, white label and reseller options, from 5 multiusers |
On price itself, third-party sources consistently report Live starting around $32 per month and Automated around $48 per month at the smallest attendee tier, and ClickMeeting states annual billing saves up to 20%. Treat those as indicative rather than confirmed, and check the live page with your actual attendee count.
Two further points:
- Attendee count is the main cost driver. Tiers run 50, 100, 200, 500, and 1,000 on Live and Automated. Moving up a tier is the most common source of bill increases, so estimate your largest expected audience rather than your average.
- A promotion is running as of this writing. Code SAVE30 offers three months free on annual plans through 31 July 2026. Promotions like this recur, so if you have missed it, it is worth asking whether another is available rather than paying list price.
Who Should Use ClickMeeting
- European organizations with data residency requirements. The clearest case. EU jurisdiction plus GDPR and encryption on every plan is a genuine advantage over US-hosted competitors.
- Educators and trainers. Edu mode, certificates, and paid events make it well suited to teaching, and this is visibly a core audience.
- Budget-conscious webinar programmes. Meaningfully cheaper than GoTo Webinar for comparable core functionality, particularly since recording is included on the entry paid tier rather than gated to the middle one.
- Teams wanting evergreen webinars affordably. The Automated plan covers on-demand and scheduled replays without the price of a dedicated funnel platform.
It fits less well for large enterprises wanting a deep integration ecosystem, where Zoom and GoTo have far more partners, and for teams that prioritize interface polish, since ClickMeeting is functional rather than elegant.
Honest Pros and Cons
Strengths
- GDPR and end-to-end encryption on every plan. Including the free tier. Most competitors reserve comparable assurances for higher tiers or say little about jurisdiction.
- Genuinely affordable. Reported entry pricing around $32 per month undercuts GoTo Webinar substantially, and recording is not gated to a middle tier.
- Three event types in one account. Live webinars, automated webinars, and meetings without separate subscriptions.
- Browser-based with no installation. Consistently praised, and it directly improves attendance rates.
- Built-in monetization. Paid events and donations without bolting on a payment tool.
- Good reported support. Fast and responsive across multiple channels, per reviewers.
Limitations
- Prices are not readable without configuring a plan. A real friction point when comparing vendors, and the reason this review hedges on exact figures.
- A small review base. 181 Capterra reviews is a fraction of what the market leaders have, so the 4.5 rating carries less weight.
- Occasional quality complaints. Some reviewers report connection issues and video inconsistency, alongside the majority who report stable HD.
- Storage costs extra. Additional recording and file storage is charged separately, and reviewers flag it.
- A learning curve on advanced features. Basic use is simple; the deeper toolset takes exploration.
- A smaller ecosystem. Fewer native integrations than Zoom or GoTo, though ClickMeeting advertises broad connectivity through integration platforms.
ClickMeeting Alternatives and How It Compares
- GoTo Webinar is the enterprise incumbent, more expensive and with cloud recording gated to its middle tier, but with a longer reliability record and deeper CRM integrations.
- Livestorm is another European option, browser-based with a free tier and a more modern interface.
- Demio is stronger for marketing-led webinars and demand generation, and is US-hosted.
- WebinarJam targets marketers and sellers, with stronger evergreen funnels through EverWebinar.
- Zoho Meeting is cheaper still and adequate for straightforward webinars, especially inside the Zoho ecosystem.

The Verdict
ClickMeeting is a sensible, well-priced webinar platform with one clear differentiator: it takes European data handling seriously and does not charge extra for it. GDPR compliance and end-to-end encryption on every plan, including free, is a meaningful position, and for an EU organization it can shorten a procurement conversation considerably.
Set expectations on two things. The evidence base is modest, at 181 Capterra reviews against thousands for the market leaders, so you have less collective experience to draw on. And the pricing is genuinely awkward to compare, because the figures only appear once you configure an attendee tier. That is not a reason to avoid the product, but it does mean you should get a real quote before assuming it undercuts a competitor.
If data residency, price, and included recording matter more than ecosystem depth and interface polish, ClickMeeting is a strong pick and one of the better values in the category. If you need the deepest integrations or the most proven reliability at large scale, GoTo Webinar remains the safer enterprise answer at a higher price. Use the 14-day free trial with a real audience before deciding, since audio and video quality is the one dimension where reviewer experiences genuinely diverge.

Compare ClickMeeting with other popular tools in the same category.
A simple and convenient interface, in use, will allow you to conduct high-quality webinars, meetings, also the quality of communication, and the number of participants who can attend on-line meetings.
We use the program, we have been satisfied with everything for a long time, but there are minor disruptions such as missing information about visitors at a web conference, or problems with chat.
This program allows you to easily and quickly contact a team that works remotely or hold an online meeting at the highest level. All the functions that this program offers help us to do our work better than competitors.
I like that I can easily make meetings. As for me, I guess it is comfortable software which gives a multiplay access (any device). I found it is really fantastic as I can make my work faster and with the ability to increase my audience.
I was thinking what to write here. I don't have any bad issue with that product. All my or ours call are going well. I like the connection during the meeting. Sometimes we have the delay through connection but it is very rare
We always use it to dissect and studying trends. We guess it is a great way to communicate with the member after the webinar and increase new relationships with them. As for us, we like that we have the ability to share with our presentation and have a feedback from the audience.
I like to make my webinar conferences very much. With ClickMeeting I have good applications for management of the conference. By this way, I can invite more members. Plus all webinars have a good connection.

Helps with the organization. Good look of the interface. Perfect tools which are easy to use. We like how tools are situated you can see them direct so you will know what to choose. Save working time.
How quickly we were able to figure the platform out. How easy it was to upgrade when we thought we might have more attendees than expected. The fact that we can have multiple users who can create events without having to buy multiple administrator accounts and the separate logins. This solution was perfect for our small team and did not seem geared towards a company that keeps an entire team on staff just for wrestling with webinar software and technology.
It would be helpful to have more step by step knowledge base articles on how to perform certain tasks like upgrading an account during a meeting or not during a meeting or customizing the invitation or webinar window. More clear information about the number of "presenters" and the account owner not counting as a presenter. The phone numbers in the Excel attendee list download mess up excel and keep it from loading if you use the online version of Excel. The desktop version of Excel plays nicely with the attendee list.
Wanting a quick and easy to use cloud based webinar and meeting solution. We were able to host a webinar with minimal research or preparation time going into learning the platform. It was pretty intuitive.
User interface is really easy to understand and also it runs on all platforms including web, ios and android. Support is really responsive and helpful. Beside all this, pricing is really reasonable. We've occasionally had issues with connectivity. I think this may be as much on our end as anything.
In a day and time where schedules are hard to coordinate, this provides a simple answer for our church to include people in important meetings. The nonprofit discount is also a benefit as we looked for options that would help us add online meetings and webinars at a reasonable cost.
The functionality, easy to use and manipulate the colors and layout. the affordability is awesome as well, as this product was the cheaper, dynamic option.
have had issues with the layout while presenting, and issues with the question feature, and the layout was a little more complex than we were looking for as we just want to show our screen.

Ease of use, customer support, cost, adaptability, interface.....
Although their online customer support is excellent, a couple times I wish I could have picked up the phone and called someone.

It's simple to use. the recording feature is great. the platform is easy to use and it give me lots of options as a facilitator to interact with my audience.
There isn't anything I don't like. It works great.
we have remote employees as well as 5 offices across the US, using this tool allows me to host calls and training that allows me to share both my face (so I have interaction) and a slide deck. I can also set up polls and other interactions. My employees love the chat function to share and learn from each other along the way.
Having more than 300 attendees at an webinar, with no complains.
Need to Install Flash updates PPT Fonts changed after upload Can't change email templates Sometimes the audio became with hiccups Presenter could not view comment slides High Price, there are new webinars software with lower prices Need to install updates for desktop sharing, sometimes happens at the worst time
Selling Webinars (External) Training Webinars (Internal) Training Webinars with our Partners (External) Monthly Global Corporate Meeting with all employees, with management staff presenting Company results Recording training lessons for others to watch (internal) Becoming near to the public with our webinars (sometimes with more than 300 attendees)
I guess the best applications for conducting webinar conferences. And as an excellent tool in which a comprehensive approach is applied that allows attracting and inviting participants.
If be honest i dont have problem with it and i dont see. As for me everything is great.
It is very well organized, thanks to which it is extremely convenient to use for both me and colleagues. It is very convenient that it has a special area for a webcam, a contact list, a chat window and a place for presentations. That makes the work faster and more convenient.
This is basic webinar service for a great price that allow to makes onboarding of our customers quick and easy. As account managers I;m use this tool every time we have new clients to screencast our product and customers love it. Also there are lot of customization options.
Sometimes our customers have been confused with interface and had some difficulty trying to call into the meeting
We use ClickMeeting for customers onboarding for 6 months and this is great experience for us.
I liked the fact that I was able to customize it with my company, in addition, it was scaleable as my audience grew it was able to grow with me and was very reasonably priced. There is a great feature in the chat function that allows for auto translation to many different languages. I had an international audience and they participants commented how accurate the translation were.
Depending on your bandwidth, some times the audio / video became very choppy. In addition I found that for the best results everyone speaking should wear headsets, if not there was an echo from the speaker on the computer.
I wanted to reach a large audience with a teleconference and ClickMeeting was able to provide that at a very reasonable rate
Super user friendly, quick learning curve, effective product to get you up and completing/distributing content in no time.
I cannot think of anything I disliked about this product.
We needed a program to help facilitate a series of webinars that showcased my company's capabilities and products we work with. ClickMeeting gave us exactly this. We were able to get up and off the ground quickly with a series of webinars. It was then equally as easy to distribute said content after the fact.
Automation for auto upload files to youtube. Invitation send to group
Unable to create a recureency for the meeting, it needs to be done manually. Sending invitation to presenter is very long process of many "clicks" needed.
Recordings of the meeting auto upload, no need to manually do it after the meeting, saving some time on it.
The best about ClickMeeting is the ease of use!
The file handling (adding files to webinar) could be improved a bit.
We use ClickMeeting platform for open webinars and professional meetings. It's ease and safe.
Gives another choice and easy to use. Had no issues using.
It is ok but there are other choices which we have liked Zoom or Meet.
Meetings and group calls with team and outside vendors.
It's an online meeting app and good for small to mid-size organizations for large-scale collaboration. Although its a paid solution but cost come with a lot of features and security.
Create a life-like experience but does not have much usability, and a freemium version is not available. It is not working much to beat zoom and Microsoft in the market. It also has very limited features.
Online meeting solutions with my small-size teams with better connectivity, collaboration, and security. Webcasting technology that has allowed us to create with up to 10000 attendees.
ClickMeeting provides us with everything we need to hold meetings and webinars in a flexible and effective manner. In my organization, it is used to encourage internal communication and collaboration without any limitations in terms of presence or space, as well as to establish contact with our clients to make presentations, provide attention and solutions whenever the need arises.
I would like at least the host of the video conference or webinar to have the power to adjust the audio for the rest of the participants and the audience.
ClickMeeting has helped us consolidate internal and external communication in our organization, as well as promote collaboration between colleagues and customer support. It is a simple and practical way of interacting with others or with a group of people without limitations of physical presence or geographic space.
It has allowed me to completely change the hiring process, since before, despite the fact that my business was 100% virtual, I was forced to conduct interviews with new personnel in person because I could not get a good application. to help me fulfill this purpose, now thanks to ClickMeeting I have an application that allows me to conduct my job interviews virtually with excellent audio and video quality, extraordinary performance and a simply spectacular navigation interface, from intuitive even simple to handle and above all elegant and modern that has helped me to obtain the best results when evaluating which new personnel I should hire, not to mention that it has analysis and monitoring tools that allow me to evaluate in a somewhat more objective way the candidate profiles.
To be honest, I have not found any compelling reason that would lead me not to recommend ClickMeeting to my entrepreneur friends who also want to migrate the way they do their virtual meetings.
Most of all I was using it to conduct job interviews with new workers who wanted to enter my company, since as we are a 100% virtual company, where everyone works from home and we do not have their own physical space, Coordinating meetings for me was something quite cumbersome since we had to be visiting places like restaurants or squares to contact the candidates and I realized that this was not something profitable, so I decided to start looking for a tool that could help me with this and researching I got this application, since I started using it I must say that we have the same quality as if we were talking in person, in fact our degree of satisfaction was so great that we are already starting to use it to do our work meetings through this same interface, because we really liked it all
It has very customizable functions, which allow you to create a record and seminars very dynamic to develop, as it allows you to conduct surveys during the seminar, achieving evaluation of learning and compression while running the presentation.
When you want to load a presentation developed from another tool, the presentation becomes blurred and unclear when handling the integration, which makes the presentation damaged and not useful during the seminar.
Tool that allows you to create and develop seminars, in a very dynamic way to develop and execute. Its functions offer the possibility of involving the audience in a dynamic way.
ClickMeeting is an easy platform to learn to use from the first moment. I like its user interface because it allows you to easily schedule meetings. I like that it is possible to share the screen for presentations and also to organize webinars. In addition, it is possible to record the meetings. I like that it is possible to have a custom URL with the name of my organization.
The cost of ClickMeeting is a little high compared to other platforms on the market.
Problems being solved: Possibility of holding virtual meetings in times of epidemic and working remotely. Benefits: More effective and reliable communication than communicating via email and the ability to record meetings.
