We moved from a standard VPS hosting platform where we had to manage all the server stack elements ourselves to Cloudways where we just add servers from our chosen provider, deploy apps and get on with the rest of our day. Cloudways has a feature-rich platform and an excellent responsive support team.
Some minor things that would be nice to have but nothing major at all.
Cloudways makes it easier to manage all our websites and deploy new ones. One-click staging allows us to test updates and code changes before deploying it to the live site. Automatic Server and site-level backups were a must and Cloudways delivers with easy one-click full or partial restores.
Friendly and prompt customer service! The hosting options are affordable and very reliable. I love the daily backups and free SSL certificates for each site! It's also very easy to create staging sites.
I can't really think of anything that I dislike about Cloudways. The only thing that is inconvenient about it is having the entire server tied up when making a staging version of a website. Other than that, it's great!
I am able to consolidate hosting providers across all of my websites, get SSL certificates on each site, and safely update my sites with new designs and plugin updates without having to worry about taking a backup each time. The daily backups are very handy!

The built-in WordPress environments are great, scalable and it has a lot of extra features to get you (or client sites) up and running.
I have problems with Disk inodes and support just cleaned them for me with no real understanding as to what was creating the problem.
Easy client website management. It allows me to migrate clients from Shared web hosting to a VPS environment which has a great benefit in terms of site speed.
Even as an inexperienced user, I found it relatively easy to use. I contacted support twice, for minor issues and both times they went above and beyond.

Our website's performance was not good; page load time is very long. Cloudways technicians helped us identify the issues and made appropriate recommendations. We managed to resolve some of the issues the website was facing.
Easy to adjust server settings and making new applications takes minutes, not hours or days. I was able to migrate my website and then all my administrative applications too complete with databases and backups.
Migration was problematic and even though it was ultimately a GoDaddy related problem, it was disappointing that Cloudways customer service was not prepared to solve the problem. I ended up locating the issue myself and was able to complete a manual migration.
Speed of website, upgrading web settings like php version and mysql version, access to administrative databases through an easily accessible location...Cloudways has enabled me to overcome many hurdles and empowered me to level up my business in ways I have been looking to for years. I have more capability than I know what to do with like exploring web activity in New Relic or building out subdomains with content. It's a great problem to have!
The pay-as-you-go feature is very helpful. I can purchase the services I need with flexibility and without pre-paying. Online chats have been quick, helpful every time.
I haven't hit any downsides yet. I was initially wary that the set up process may be more technical than I was accustomed to. However I found it quite easy and intuitive.
I'm not limited to X amount of sites. I can run as many sites that fit into my chosen storage tier which is very helpful for my needs.

I was scared to migrate after four years with another provider, thinking that Cloudways is a bit more technical and I would have a hard time. What a mistake! As soon I started using Cloudways I realised I was paying more for less, well... everything. The migration was smooth with their in-house plugin. The user interface looked intimidating at first, but I loved it after getting used to it with the first migration. The trial period is also helpful, so you get used to it when you play around with it. The customer service was also a concern (when I saw that there was premium support out of my budget). However, I needed help, and I received it immediately, so I guess you need to have an enterprise to need something more than the default support for all. It's great you can start from a lower server and move to a higher plan depending on your needs or your growth. Scaling up was easy without any downtime. Overall, it was a great experience and it made me slightly angry that I had not done it earlier.
There is nothing to dislike so far. It faces a temporary issue with the CDN provider but gives you detailed guidance to install a third-party, or you can just install yours. It is not the reason for my 9/10. The reason for that is that there is always room for improvement in every single product or service and that I have only been using them for two months and usually give reviews after six.
There was no downtime during the migration or during actual usage of their hosting. Also, I get more than my previous plan paying less, something great for a solo entrepreneur or a small business.

Server config tweaking is not allowed and default backup management is not very intuitive.
Security and Speed. They are very fast and secure.
First, the customer support in getting set up was outstanding. The personal attention we received from Robert C. as we were learning the Cloudways system and getting our first few sites moved over was really above and beyond what I was expecting. Once we got a few sites migrated over and saw how fast they loaded, we knew we'd made the right decision.
The interface could be a little more compact. We're moving about 50 sites over to Cloudways and it would be helpful to see them all in a line grid form so that we could see them all at once, whether this is on the applications page or a page that just shows all active websites and subdomains.
We had 2 issues we needed to address: 1. speed and 2. security. The hosting company we were using just wasn't fast enough. Some of our clients noticed less than stellar load times on their sites, we noticed it on all of them. Our previous hosting company's rates to move up to a faster option just weren't worth it. Plus we needed a secure hosting account that could not easily be hacked in to. Cloudways pricing was very competitive (cheaper than our previous host for what we needed) and the speed was outstanding.
We are able to set up and provide hosting solutions to our numerous clients. Cloudways has an excellent support team 24/7 that can be contacted via chat and can resolve things in a short period or sometimes almost immediately. The transition for websites from staging to live is pretty smooth.
I don't have any negative features that I dislike on this platform. Maybe the fact that when you archive an application it is not easy to review your archived applications.
We provide hosting to several of our clients, we can provide reliable support and we can create backups of the previous configurations. Even restore backups easily.
Easy to use and scale. Not expensive and it allows you to add many domains at the same price.
Ftp connections are not that easy to set up and not always reliable, as sometimes FTP works sometimes does not.
I can host many websites easily, much easier than digital ocean. I have had websites there but I needed to deploy a custom panel or create multiple servers, with cloudways that is much easiaer.
