It is a tool that allows the same integration of people as Miro, however, with the use of pages, not plates. We were able to attach the meetings via links and we left the flowcharts as well.
One thing I don't like about confluence is that we always need to be logging in to edit the panels, it's hard to stay connected to the site. We also have few options for editing the panels.
Confluence is currently being used as a library at my company. There, we store our learning content and share work information. Performance had a big increase as we got organized and gained time.
The capacity that Confluence offers to organize and edit documentation online is great. It is also an amazing tool for creating documents and then sharing them with team members to view and collaborate. My top 2 things I enjoy are: 1. Being able to organize information to my liking 2. Getting ideas and knowledge out of peoples' heads and shared 3. Templates!!
Sometimes, searching for a specific document or topic is not as easy as you may think. I have had times when I need to use over 5 keywords to finally find what I was looking for, which can be time-consuming. There is also an issue when trying to edit a document while someone else is editing. The feature does allow users to access the document and save it, however, you are unable to see the changes happening in real-time until you refresh the page.... which can result in a loss of edits and information.
Confluence is an excellent knowledge base tool that Keeps documentation well organized and in a single go-to location. What is mostly great about this, is that it enables sharing and insights across different departments, which makes it easier to understand the process and steps. Confluence is like my own little Wikipedia/Google search for the company I currently work at because it is literally the central resource for all documentation within the company and I don't know what I would do without it... I also think it is very reliable and robust, user-friendly, and easy to use.
Confluence is very user-friendly, so there is no need to spend time and money on employee training and learning. Integration with other collaboration tools. The user interface makes it easy to setup, navigate, and use.
It has a good search engine by syntax but not by context. Limited mobile functionality compared to web-based.
Confluence provides a variety of team collaboration solutions that are essential for productivity growth.
My favorite part of confluence is that I can use pre-made templates on projects, that act both as guides and make the documentation process much faster.
I wish there was a meta page where you could see all confluence spaces in one page with the latest updates, kind of like a daily overview.
Confluence allows me to collaborate with the rest of the team when we are all working remotely. It helps with agility and efficiency.
Amazing tool to use to report/communication/ present
Would be good to allow more dynamic ranges to edit pages and make it more customisable
allow to centralise all our documentation in 1 single place which is super easy to access
It's easy to use and has a fun and clean interface. the app is helpful for when I am on the go as well to be able to work without my laptop. It allows for emojis, useful layouts, etc. The jira connections also make it helpful
The challenge sometimes is getting adoption to confluence, but once people start they don't stop
It is helping the organization as a whole get alignment. Comment functionality also helps.
Creating pages and attaching macros. I like that it has many options.
sometimes it is hard to navigate to modify your pages
It helps to document my work and progresses and share to my colleagues and management
Option to attach multiple format attachments Easy of navigation
Some times updation of information after page edit is not seamless.
Daily work driver, documents preparation, requirement documentation
The Interface is Easy to Use Version management is Good , Easily can rollback and Track Changes. Easy to createTabular structures and Embed Images. Links works as Expected. Can REad Documents without Downloading. Role Group Access
Whne it come to create Flowcharts / Flow diagrams - the Interface lags - Need a good allignment mechnism , auto arrange option.
Collabration among teams and Stake Holders Version Maintainenece of Docs. Repository of Artifacts across the Organization Better version maintanence and TRacking ability
Confluence provides best in calss integrations with all the tools like Gliffy and all the Atlassian tools. We can use macros to customizes pages. Confluence is like a wiki where we can store all the documentaion
Plugins are charged based on Confluence user license base. If you want to use plugin like Gliffy just for 10 people and if your Confluence license is 3000 users then you will have to purchase Gliffy for 3000 users. Plugin lincensing pattern is worst.
We always store meeting points, technical documentations, KT docs in Confluence. It's user-friendly.
