I like how Confluence shows the last update or change made with one article or policy implemented. Confluence helps our organization be on the same page on a day-to-day basis. I like how it allows us to bookmark the most helpful and most used knowledge base we use in our everyday lives.
I don't like that you cannot search for the same knowledge base you need using just one keyword. If you enter one or two words, multiple results are shown. Even the article you will not use shows if it detects the keyword you added. It can be a bit slow and unresponsive at times.
Confluence helps our everyday work to be more efficient. Instead of you personally asking about the issue you are handling during work time, confluence serves as your best friend, providing you with the same calibrated information and process that needs to be followed and done.
Confluence is a distinctive knowledge-based tool. It is really easy to use, provides all the necessary details, and helps me follow the proper steps in a workflow that is essential for my job. Regardless of the nature of the customer inquiries, I see Confluence as both my guide and my savior. With a few key words and mouse clicks, all the information may be found instantly.
I had never used this tool before I joined the organization, so it was challenging for me to quickly get used to it. Additionally, new members may find the UI to be a little perplexing.

As far as experience is concern, I don't find anything bad on using this app. I guess what I can suggest is the color of the app if it can be more lively as how it looks like

Compilation of articles in 1 software and also being able to comment and send feedbacks or question is really satisfying.
I think the interface is a bit lacking in user design.

I began to use Confluence after being hired by my current company. For the first months it was irreplaceable tool to find documentation and instruction. Everything was organized into question trees and folders.
I can't say it was really user-friendly, it was a little bit difficult for me to get used to the interface. I would propose to introduce an online automatic assistant which would provide some options if user is stuck.
Our team members have created a detailed tree of FAQ and it's really handy when it comes to troubleshooting. The powerful search allows us to find information quickly and most formats of data are available.

Capability to allow team members access to upload and manage documents at one place, links and articles in a well organized way. Other tools like SharePoint are sometimes cluttered with too many features and difficulty in organizing due to their heirarchial folder structure pattern and access management.
Word and other documents cannot be directly opened in the web page and editing feature is not available, have to download and then upload after editing. Improvements are required in supporting multiple documents upload in one go and ability to edit simple word formats in the web page.
Organizing a teams knowledge base and other documents in one place with quick access and control by admin. Teams are more productive this way as they can arrange documents topic wise and share links directly from the page with others.

It is very simple to use, provides all the information required, and also, helps with taking the correct steps in a workflow that is required for my day-to-day work basis. There are very few downsides to Confluence. Sometimes I face problems when formatting the tables I created on the Confluence Page. Confluence can improve the search engine, as it is sometimes difficult to search the document in Confluence.
It is always required to document everything when working on different projects. So Confluence is solving the problem of writing everything about the projects like requirements, implementation, development and release, in one place. Bulletproof, simple and fairly flexible. The range of extensions is great. What if course is the top feature is Jira integration. A totally flawless thing because it's the same company's product. The platform is capable enough for doing weekly reports and with some wrangling you can do some really great reporting. Especially that Jira integration. Pro tip. Setup a PMO project and include PM report tickets to get risks and issues under control!
The only thing that gets me is printing to PDF sometimes doesn't work very well. It will look great on screen. I like to use extensions as a last reality because they can beak when updates happen. There is one plugin that is supposed to print and can't. Been waiting for a solution for months on this one.
Confluence centralizes our project and process documentation. Making updates and governance decisions easy. We are more focused on the documentation than searching for the right version of a document.

There is nothing to dislike as such, it is just one feature while it using it on web, if we click on a link, the page opens in the same tab rather than opening a new tab, sometimes making us loose time.
When working in a team, multiple people work on the same project. While working together, people need multiple references and to prevent multiple people from explaining things to each other as everything takes a lot of time, confluence comes handy to make a junction where everyone can come and go, hence solving the above problem.
