GetResponse Pricing

GetResponse offers three main tiers in their pricing; Free, Paid Plans, and MAX² (for large enterprises).

The paid plans are also divided into email marketing, marketing automation, and e-commerce marketing.

Email Marketing Plan

With the email marketing plan, you can build your email list and deliver valuable information to your audience. You’ll be able to create a website with an unlimited number of landing pages to generate signups. You can also segment your subscribers, but only based on the basic information you’ll have collected about them. This plan works best for those who don’t need complex automation, like small businesses, entrepreneurs, bloggers, etc.

Pricing starts from $13.30/month for 1,000 contacts if you choose a 2-year contract and increases to $19/month if you want to pay monthly. The price also increases depending on the number of subscribers you want to accommodate, from 1,000 subscribers to 100,000 subscribers.

GetResponse Pricing

Marketing Automation Plan

If you want to include more advanced automation settings and segmentation, then this is the plan for you. It includes all the features in the free plan, and email marketing plan, as well as trigger and event-based sequences to collect more data on your audience. You’ll be able to create automated email chains so customers can receive personalized emails based on their behavior and preferences.

Additionally, you’ll get access to the webinar builder so this plan is typically great for B2B and tech companies that want to nurture their leads.

Pricing starts at $41.30/month for 1,000 contacts (2-year contract) and up to $59/month for 1,000 subscribers for a monthly contract.

E-commerce Marketing Plan

This plan includes everything from the two previous plans and includes web push notifications, abandoned cart recovery, product recommendations, transactional emails, and promo codes. Of course, this plan is beneficial if you want to increase sales for your online store.

The pricing starts at $83.30/month for 1,000 subscribers (2-year contract) and goes up to $119/ month for 1,000 subscribers if you’re paying monthly. It can get quite pricy if you climb up to 100,000 subscribers, as you’ll be paying $700/month.

GetResponse Pros & Cons

Pros

  • The free plan includes valuable marketing features.
  • GetResponse is feature-rich while being easy to use.
  • This a great option if you have an e-commerce business.
  • GetResponse integrates with over 120 tools. You can also use GetResponse’s advanced API to build your integration.
  • Choose from over 2,000,000 Shutterstock images and GIFs from GIPHY to add an attractive and professional touch to your emails. No extra purchases are necessary.
  • Caters to various devices so you can design and preview well-formatted emails that look good on any device (desktop, tablet, or mobile).
  • You get digital marketing reports to track your marketing campaign’s performance.
  • You can create and monitor your paid Google, Facebook, and Instagram ads from your GetResponse account.
  • 24/7 live representative customer support is available via email or live chat.
  • 30-day free trial available, with no credit card required, for all features.
  • A discounted plan is offered for charities and NGOs (50% off every monthly plan)

Cons

  • Although GetResponse integrates with over 120 tools, it omits some notable project management platforms. Also, integrations with PayPal and Eventbrite can only be done using Zapier.
  • GreatResponse doesn’t automatically create a mobile-friendly version of your landing pages. You need to remember to design the mobile-friendly version separately.
  • Although GetResponse’s mobile app is great at showing you the progress of your campaigns, the drag-and-drop editor is difficult to use and makes it hard to make changes while you’re on the go.

Conclusion

GetResponse is a great and affordable tool to help you upstart your email marketing campaigns. They have other offerings that are all designed to complement core features and boost your presence online, including a selection of builders, for websites, landing pages, and even webinars. GetResponse also has a customer support team that is always available to help users onboard and address any concerns.

However, don’t forget that there are still other email marketing software options available—all with their own set of unique features and tools. Be sure to take a look at our wide range of software categories to find the perfect software that your business needs.

"I love the ease of use and variety of services for a reasonable price."
What do you like best about GetResponse?

I love that customer service is always available whenever I have a question. I love the functionality of Get Response. I am able to do so much with my emails at a very reasonable price. My favorite function is the autoresponder. Get Response works for me while I sleep.

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

There isn't much that I dislike. If anything it would be that I probably don't fully understand the breadth of the product and all it could do for me.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

Leveraging- reaching more people at a deeper level with less time and energy from me.

"I do email marketing and it is the best I have found!"
What do you like best about GetResponse?

I have tried 2 other auto-responders and like GetResponse the best. I can schedule deliveries way ahead of time and deliver at the same time zones around the world. It tracks all my stats and I can resend to all the un-opens. I like the form that you can create that I use for my squeeze pages. I can also do split testing to optimize my opt-ins. GetResponse just works the best!

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

One thing I wish it did was let me program to re-send to the un-opens automatically at the time I choose. Currently it is a manual operation but I was told that this is something they are working on as well as other requested functionality.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to pre-program many emails to go out ahead of time at the time that works best for me which frees up the rest of my time for other activities.

What do you like best about GetResponse?

I like that it has everything I need for email marketing and to run my regular store business. The pricing is reasonable for what they offer.

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

It isn't always use friendly. Sometimes I have to chat with someone to figure out something in their program. I also don't like that I can't edit a customers email address for them when they notify me to change it. Lastly,

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting the information out to my customers and automating the process. Haven't really felt the benefits yet at the level that I am using the service

"GetResponse Email Marketing Service Review"
What do you like best about GetResponse?

What I like the best about GetResponse is the intuitive ease of use it provides. It takes very little time to get set up a profile and send your first email. The functionality to import large email lists is also very easy.

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

It takes a little while to get used to some of the terminology GetResponse uses such as an email list is considered a campaign. The front page Dashboard can be a bit cumbersome as well.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

GetResponse allows us to stay in contact with our list and to send professional looking emails in a minimal amount of time.

I like the easy to follow welcome tutorials. The drop down menus make it easy to move through whatever process is being worked on. When I have had a question it was great to call support and have a person answer my question. Saved time and keep my project moving. Outstanding customer service.

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

The fact that I don't know what I don"t know about the services offered. The more I have opportunity to be on their site I learn new things.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm working on building an online email marketing business. GetResponse gives me the ability to stay in touch with those who have responded to one of our landing page forms for receiving more information. The tools that are available with GetResponse easy to use and very comprehensive.

"The most user friendly email service I've used!"

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

There are always specialty features I wish any platform could add... In the case of GR, I really want to be able to automate moving people to a general list once they've received the final email in an autoresponder campaign.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use email to develop relationships with my list, GR has great deliverabilty, and it's easy to format my emails in all sorts of ways.
