For example, you can point the DNS, manage domain records like MX records, CNAME records, TXT records, etc... You can also purchase and set-up SSL (Security) certificates right in your account management area.
GoDaddy always tries to upsell yo on every purchase. It is quite annoying, but if you get used to clicking past the upsells, it goes pretty quick.
