Keeper is the preferred platform for many major enterprises given its highly secure password management features that works on major web browsers and mobile devices. It features a highly secure master password keeper that’s the key for encrypting and decrypting information. The platform also has a KeeperChat function, deep-level encryption that is the strongest in its category, FIPS 140-2 validated, and offers standard multi-factor authentication. While popular among blue chip organizations, Keeper is also available on a personal scale at more affordable rates.

Group Sharing feature. SSO integration, Browser and mobile integration, 2fa integration
web ui needs a bit polishing but there are a lot of updates so im convinced we will get there with time
secure sharing of credentials, saves time and discussions and password resetting.
Keeper was easy to implement from a admin POV, and rolling out to the organisation was super easy. Users have commented on how easy to use Keeper is compared to other password managers.
There's a couple of quirks, like admin approvals for logins. It makes sense to an admin why it works the way it does, but users don't quite get that. The need to implement something else to workaround it is a little long winded.
Users saving passwords to browsers, using same passwords on multiple accounts. Enabling teams to use shared passwords without sacrificing on security has been a massive improvement
As an administrator, Keeper was an easy choice because of its robust product and its incredible customer service team. Deployment was a breeze, their help articles helped streamline onboarding, and their UX design is impressive. As a user, I could not be happier with my experience. From custom record types to its clean search feature to secure password sharing, and everything in between, I would recommend Keeper to anyone.
As an admin it has been frustrating not being able to assign people to "Teams" before they enroll. Having to remember to go back and add them after (or sometimes forgetting entirely) has been a challenge. Sometimes the "sharing" settings on shared folders can be unintuitive and I have come across situations where people have read/write permissions but could only read. This could be user error, but it has been sometimes difficult.
Since we are a remote company, cybersecurity is at the forefront of our business, and we needed a reliable and secure system that was easy for all employee types to use in order to securely create, store, and share passwords.
This product is exactly what you want, a solid password manager at an SMB price point.
Occasionally has quirkiness swapping profiles (work and personal) on mobile but getting better with every update.
Password management and security through complexity and unique passwords.
Ease of use, ease of deployment, and the overall security of the solution. As a security architect, I evaluate password management solutions on a handful of stringent requirements, and Keeper has been the only solution to meet all of my security audit and posture requirements.
I do wish the mobile app had a better UI experience when pasting passwords from within another app. It would also be great if the Firefox extension received some love when it comes to inconsistencies with filling passwords with the extension.
I operate 2 companies, hold a senior leadership position with another company, and have over 300 personal passwords to manage. Keeper makes it possible to keep my passwords separate from "work" and easily monitor the security of my online credentials.
It is a great tool. We have been using this for more than a year with no issues.
It could do better with the admin functionality.
The password auto-fill addons and the One-time password functionality are the benefits of this app.
Keeper knows its place - as a Password & Secret storage tool - and hones their craft to that specific feature. They're specialists more than they are generalists, and while not being the most well-known or newsworthy password security tool out there, that's necessarily a good thing (given the recent news of LastPass).
Keeper has shown to be masters in all of their features, but one thing that could use improvement is their self-guided content library, especially when it comes to onboarding enterprise employees.
Keeper not only protects our employees' passwords under Soc2 and HIPAA-compliant encryption, it suggests strong passwords with a lot of flexibility regarding how those passwords can be structured, shows you the strength live while you type if you want to create / modify your own, and keeps track of how many times you're using the same password so you can minimize your risk. The enterprise monitoring, SSO for Azure Active Directory, and watching for password breaches org-wide is incredible and now essential for our security standards.
Clean and intuitive interface, great customer service and communication, fine-tuned controls for security, comprehensive security controls for peace of mind and policy enforcement, extra features that other competitors don't offer
The only thing that could be improved upon is making sure documentation for enabling certain features or configurations is up-to-date. Sometimes some processes aren't clear and require some communication with the customer service team to figure out.
As a member of the security team at my organization, it is paramount that employees maintain good password hygiene - Keeper has been great at encouraging users to use good passwords and also flag unsafe passwords so that we can address those issues.
Keeper is easy to use, scalable for holding a large volume of passwords, and holds notes and other information needed to track logins. I also like their support. I've only needed help several times over the years, but I was able to get great support when needed. The mobile app is a great tool too! Easy to use. Most importantly, I don't worry about the safety of my passwords. Please see my comment about two-factor authentication in the next response.
At first, I had a long, long login password, which made it a challenge to keep logging in. However, I changed to two-factor authentication, and this allowed me to use a shorter primary password. Much easier! I also utilized the built-in logout timer, so the program remains open and available while I'm working but logs out automatically when I close the browser.
I strictly follow the rule of using random passwords and never use the same password twice. Since I have over a thousand passwords, it would be impossible to track them easily. Keeper makes this easy. It also has a built-in random password generator. If I have a password that surfaces in the dark web, I am alerted to that.
The fact that you can share credentials in a very secure way. The 2FA/OTP functionality.
Entries can not we edited by default by other user thant the owner, the owner must modify this property manually.
We are sharing credentials in a secure way. Now I can choose what information a user can access.
Well-integrated UI, secure sharing between employees and teams, externally shareable "one-time" secrets, and a personal license for each employee to secure their non-corporate personal information (which is a nice benefit and helps encourage personal Online Safety). New features are added regularly.
I've been thinking hard but had trouble finding any real complaints. Most of the initial tweaks/suggestions I would have suggested around UI improvements have already been incorporated by their product team.
Securely sharing secrets between employees/teams. Restricting access to secrets upon employee departure. Securely sharing secrets with external parties who do not have the software.
I've used Keeper for 8 months, having moved from a different product (LastPass) that I had been using for over two years. It provides secure storage for all my passwords and payment card information. It can be set up for 2FA sites so i can autofill the codes instead of going to a separate authenticator app. I can access my passwords across multiple devices. The phone app is better than the apps of other password managers I've tried. My users, in general, really like it. Several of them have moved off of LastPass, KeyPass and Roboform begrudgingly but have now found it to be better. The product is continually improved. I've noticed some new features that I missed from LastPass, recently were added. Dedicated training is provided, which really helps with the enterprise-wide rollout and user engagement. Having a security score for each person allows us to see who needs to improve their password posture.
Filling payment card information does not always work when invoked. More likely caused by Chrome features or the coding of some sites. I wish more of the features such as Breachwatch and even just 100 MB of storage were included in the base product and not as add-ons.
Rolling out Keeper to my staff to help them get their passwords into a secure manager solves another security problem. The ability to share passwords with staff is a big plus. We've seen a huge reduction in improper password storage and gained efficiencies in time. Eventually it will be mandatory for all employees. It's tremendously useful in getting people to start using complex passwords and stop reusing the same password everywhere.
Keeps my identity access information documented, retrievable yet safe. Been using for many years. It keeps getting better each generation. Its all I need and all I use.
Occasional glitches when uploading a photo
Manage identities for different web sites. Quick retrieving of info.
It is easy to use, well documented and has a PC app available.
I have no complains so far. I'm a system administrator of Keeper for a small company.
We are using Keeper to keep passwords safe and to share some information between employees. Our employees are happy to use it because it is easy and handy.
SSO is seamless, some providers require you to click 'sign in with SSO' but using the Azure link, we can log straight in, which removes a barrier for users.
Would be nice to have a global list of websites to not prompt to save passwords, for maybe personal email sites or IP addresses.
Removing insecure password storage and stopping repeat password use in its tracks. Sharing passwords across departments without actually sharing the password. great time saver and stops the account being locked everytime the password is changed.
Use 2FA integrated with Duo Security. Create and submit OTP instead of using a separate authentication app on the phone. Share passwords among staff members. Transfer password records from one employee to another. Password change history.
Sometimes it fills fields on the web pages where it is not supposed to.
Keeper Password Manager provides a secure way to create, store and share passwords for websites and applications. It allowed us to create and use unique and complex passwords.
makes it easy to access all company logins without having to resource a shared doc
have to login frequently to the keeper app to keep it running
consolidated password page with access to all passwords that pertain to the given site
Best, easiest, and secure password program. Very easy use for biometric, 2 factor, websites. Very great the new work/home accounts. Customer support is great!
There is nothing that I am not happy with for the product.
Best, easiest, and secure password program. Very easy use for biometric, 2 factor, websites. Very great the new work/home accounts. Customer support is great!
I absolutely love that I can keep all of my passwords in one place and not have to constantly reset forgotten passwords since I have more than I could count that I use on a daily basis.
So far I have not found anything within the password keeper manager that I dislike. Everything is easy to use and find within the application. No complaints here!
I've solved having to constantly reset passwords due to forgotten passwords. Its great that I can keep them all somewhere secure and find them and update when I need to.
It's great that we can share passwords with a team securely. Integration with Azure AD for SSO makes it simple to access our password vault. The web browser extension works great to autofill passwords on websites. You can save new credentials in folders to share with others or keep them in your own private vault.
The SSO portion requires software installed on one of our servers. There is now a cloud option, but it's an additional fee. I'd prefer that SSO was available in the cloud as part of the standard package instead of installing custom software on one of my web-facing servers. Upgrades to this SSO software are sometimes more difficult than they should be.
As a team, we no longer have to send passwords via IM or email. We can direct team members, look in the keeper vault. We love the breachwatch feature that alerts us when a password is weak and needs to be changed. We love the autogenerate new passwords feature so that we don't have to come up with new passwords all the time that are secure and avoid the human trap of "re-using" passwords.
