We use Mailjet for all of our transactional and promotional emails and we are very happy! Easy to use and comprehensive in its statistical reports : the best tool for your emails.
Statistical reports are a little long to generate. But once done, they are complete
Before, we did not know if our emails were seen and read, now we know all this, and more !
Email marketing interface was great and we used it
I dint find a dislike. It was like all other platform. But the price was high
It is usefull to send bulk mails to clients
Easy and very useful emailing platform for marketing.
The application is a bit limited compared to other mailing tools
Save time to create templates and send emails to our database.
Analytics report of the campaign Contact list builder Dynamic email content supoorted
Smtp setup required User interface sometime stuck while working on contacts
Mailjet allows me to send and schedule emails to all my site users. I use mailjet to convey some important messages to my users.
The best part of this tool is that they are providing a free package where we can try learning email marketing and even work when we have limited client data. They provide basic statistics so we know how our emails our working. Moreover, the paid plans are also affordable than other tools and provides all the required functionalities such as ab testing and data filters. Must recommend if you want to try email marketing as a beginner.
They doesn't have dynamic landing pages option which I think they must include for successful email marketing campaigns.
For those who are not fully aware of email marketing, they can't invest in very expensive tools. Mailjet offers a free version which 200 mails per day which is great for beginner marketers.
prices is good for per mails in market. Mailjet have good automate tools. You can easly create templates.
Mail editor not have auto saver. customer service is not good. Not enough fonts in Mailjet.
With mailjet i create and mail templates and send to my mail subscribers easy.
Mailjet provides all the instruments for creating mail marketing campaigns. The pricing is very flexible and competitive which makes the platform accessible for everyone. It also has a very user-friendly interface allows interacting with UI very easy. The email creation editor is very powerful and has many elements and templates which you can use in one click. After the campaign is sent you can follow your results with a user-friendly interface inside the statistics section.
After providing the proofs of ownership of your domain MailJet keeps a limitation on your account connected to mail sending at a time (1000 emails per hour). Another case is that you are not able to send emails to the people in their timezone they do not give you any control for this scenario.
We are constantly sending marketing email campaign to our users with fresh news, updates, use cases, etc. All this work can be easily done with MailJet. MailJet provides all the tools which make this process very fast and time-saving. It also has good features like segmentation which is very useful for sending a targeted campaign to the group of people which will increase the engagement.
1. It has a good and advanced contact list management. It's quite easy to add and remove the users from the contact list. 2. Responsive email template designs are also good. 3. Tracking the email is also quite easy, and I love their UI. 4. The service is also quite fast. 5. When I started with mailjet, I loved their documentation, its quite clear and easy to understand.
1. The ability to send only 200 free emails per day, I think it should have been 6000 a month, send it in a day to as per you convenience. 2. I have seen sometimes that sometimes the mail being received in the spam folder.
We have a startup, and the very first thing needed to reach out to clients with new features introduced and to reach new clients is marketing through email, mailjet is helping me do that very well. Our target users pipulation currently is not very big, so 6000 mails are enough for us. Looking forward to upgrade our membership as the clients increases.
Easy to use and reasonably priced. They offer plans with less than 50000 emails per month.
The service is horrid. If you have a critical issue, there is no way to contact support other than tickets, which take up to 24 hours to reply. I tried upgrading to a monthly premium plan in order to get better support, but since I am on a yearly plan, this was not possible. I would have to buy the premium plan for the entire year. Meanwhile, our email service is down.
Sending out transactional emails
Interface is simple but straight to the point
It often feels a little clunky, not on the interface side of things, but the service as a while.
There are so many services like it, it's not really doing us any good outside of the usual - was just the service we moved forward with.
So far the best part of Mailjet has been that it's the least expense option for the a mailing list as large as ours.
Sometimes the user interface isn't great.
Campaign management, bulk email sending, analytics on email opens/clicks, api-driven email collection, campaign automation, auto confirmations, and receipts.
semplicity of integration, easy to use, really fast
no integration with free mail domain, i had some problems because the mail sent are received in spam folder
i'm developer, i used mailjet to implement a service in my java desktop application
An interesting feature is its emphasis on email security. The service offers dedicated IP addresses to send your email for silver account holders. In addition, the ReturnPath tool provides you with a real-time status update. One can also choose to send the campaign to select users or an entire domain. For example, you could choose to send the campaign to the entire yahoo domain or select contacts from your address book.
Nothing to dislike really. Easy to set up and configure.
We can manage both bulk and transactional emailing. The added-value also resides in the real time reporting tool that reveals to be a very convenient way to monitor and optimize the campaigns.
List management, webhooks, email creation/design, hands-on customer success team.
The French-based IPs have been causing us deliverability issues lately. Less hands-on and slower to reply since Mailgun Acquisition.
We have to send and manage large email lists for a newsletter to consumers. Mailjet helps keep us out of spam and makes it easy for marketing to produce the newsletters. As well, we use the API for system emails and it works well.
I like it that is linked to Mailgun, another service that I use.
I find it challenging to use your mail services because it's complex, leading to multiple newsletters being sent to the same contacts. While I'm currently on a free plan to test their services, I'm hesitant to upgrade. Managing the contact list seems difficult, and there's a risk of annoying recipients by sending emails multiple times. It would be beneficial for their service to learn from platforms like Mailchimp in terms of contact management. So far, Mailjet has been the least effective in this regard.
I'm not happy with their services.
Campaign statistics are fairly good as is delivery of marketing campaigns.
Reverting to a free plan is very complex. I am a regular user of Mailjet (taking a one-month subscription every three to four months) and each time I have to delve into their FAQ to remember how to do it. It is obvisouly purposefully designed by Mailjet. Update September 2023: still a pain to switch to a free plan. Mailjet has not made in better these past few years.
Sending marketing mail campaigns.
We introduced it because it's GDPR conform
The UX is unintuitive and the tool is slow. The worst thing is you get logged out every couple of hours and to log in, you need to enter a Captcha.
Sending emails to customers
Used to be cheap. This business changed hands a few times and became worse and worse.
Crooks are working in the customer service department. They make unauthorized charges to your credit card. Won't respond to your ticket. or deceive you. Behave like an authoritarian entity, and you are their submissive subject and try to control you. Stay away.
Be cautious with their billing. Although they advertise as cheap, they will manipulate your invoices.
Mailjet was an amazing solution but ever since they have been bought their pricing has tripled and the service gone down
Pricing has gone through the roof - they are now the most expensive in the market with average service. this was fine with competitive prices
currently, we are in the process of looking for alternatives - despite that we have been a client ever since they started
The WordPress plugin they created was really easy to set up, and getting it connected to all of our sites was a breeze. Pricing was competitive.
We used this tool to send contact form emails to us (no forms were ever sent to third parties). We had a landscaping company, so we'd process emails for customers interested in gettings things like their lawn cut. We were banned from the platform for sending "real estate related emails", with all our accounts disabled within 12 hours of being notified. We appealed to their compliance team and were denied.
Delivery of contact form emails and customer order emails
When the service works and no human interaction is required, the service does work. Despite the dashboard being very slow.
The support is completely unacceptable. We have a plan with paid support and send over 200k emails per month. Tickets go unanswered for extended periods of time and responses are often canned and not relevant. Priority tickets are almost treated with disdain. You do not have to look far online to find a wide selection of similar reviews. Do not make the same mistake as us, buyer beware.
Mailjet was supposed to be a convenient mail service for our notification emails. We cannot recommend any benefits.
Price is low but customer service is low either. They don't even read your messages but answer with templates
Ticket #1456044 • Status: Opened • Creation date: 12/01/2020, 7:03 PM Our master's account API key was issued by a third-party user for spam. We changed our passwords and updated our API keys. Now we need to disable the sending limit. And you know what? They ask us where did we get those emails? WE WERE HACKED! I DO NOT KNOW!!! Do you read my messages? We were hacked! Someone used our API key to send spam emails. How come I know where did hackers get those emails?! I will close my account as soon as possible!!!
I was trying to send marketing campaign emails and transactional emails but mailjet just can't make it
Price but end of the day your email will all go to spam because of their poor SPF
No customer support at all. Waited 4 days for an answer and they don't ever read my question properly, than since that 3 days goes and still no answers.. Meanwhile all mails went to spam-box and my domain name is dead... Thanks to their SPF that isn't compatible with Google Domain. Don't think of using them... MAY 2020
No they didn't and i lost my domain name and 30000 mails... waste all my money!!!
Cheap, relatively easy to set up and use
Transactional only service (which is fine, but I was new to this and they could have been clearer), Horrible customer service
Was trying to do some email marketing. I did not realize the difference between transactional emails and cold emails. They promptly shut down my use. Again, that is fine...learning curve for me. And they did not refund the payment to me. Again, fine, cost of knowledge. My real problem with them is that I sent them an additional $50 from Paypal, which they accept. It never appeared on my account and they say they never received despite my giving them all of the transaction details. They refuse to acknowledge the payment or give me a refund. Their customer service was slow, demeaning, and utterly useless. How does the "accounting team" not find a transaction after giving them every last detail of the transaction? I wonder if they are actually malicious.
Nothing, not tested, they cancelled before use and charged me.
They blocked my account without any reason, and after that, they charged my credit card for first time. Incredible! They're scammers, be careful and try to use another one email service. Also I'm asking support and they never answer!
They charge credit card without activate the account.
nothing, i think nothing special, I think we were really wrong choosing this company
support is really inexistent with agents that just cut and paste answers with no soluions, and these cut and paste answer, you must wait for days to receive on
no benefit, changing to mailjet have cost us money , we are migrating now
it actually works when they let you use it.
another nazi like email company that will block your account randomly for no reason specified even if you're just sending transactional emails to your own customers.
We were 200€ per month, sending stats were absolutely fine, except for the last email campaign to our own Customers that got blocked by Mailjet when it went through perfectly and with zero complaints with Getresponse. They blocked our account instantly leaving all our internet businesses without transactional emails and after reviewing our account they now say our business is illegal. (business has been running since 2012 and is the #1 gaming product on Clickbank the biggest digital retailer in the World) This is not how you treat a customer. Avoid this company at all costs, they do not care about their customers.
nothing at all. none of the emails hit inbox. Then I requested a refund and cancelled, and they billed me the next month.... and refuse to refund that month! Unbelievable. French company that doesn't care about customer satisfaction.
Mailjet service does not work... no emails I sent were received. Then after I cancel and request a refund they continued billing me and ignored my ticket... Then agreed I was due a refund and 2 months later they wont send it or respond. SCAMMERS!
no benefit. I was doing email marketing.
On the surface the service seems fine, but it's not.
Clearly they do not have the servers to deliver the service. Their system "pre-blocks" any email addresses that the flawed system flags as blocked. They then use this as an excuse to block many more emails. They then use that as an excuse to slow down their service. Once in that state, you have the task of "proving" that your client emails are appropriate and correct (ambiguous process at best, you are simply at the whim of some support person). Support is slow to say the least. My delivered stats were to say the least world class but they did not deliver many of the emails to my service. I asked for my money back and they refused to return my money and the requested that they could maybe try to send my emails again if I paid another month. Sleazy. French company with no ties to the US, obviously a back office play from some poorly run joker with an Smtp Service. I wasted hours setting put the service based upon their crappy upload system.
Poor service COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR TIME!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
Waste of time..Would never use again. Only sent out about half of my contact list and took over 9 hours to send 480 emails. Bounces any Apple email addresses (me or mac.com)
Process of activation is worst. . Customer support does not address why all emails weren't sent and why it is so slow
Very worst support team
