"Cool product, yet to see results"
What do you like best about Reply?

The omnichannel approach of reply is awesome. I love that I can automate touches across several different mediums - email, linkedin, sms, whatsapp. I especially love that I can automate simple actions on social media such as liking a prospect's post, or viewing their profile.

What do you dislike about Reply?

The UX is slightly sub par compared to other sequencing tools my team has used. Not to a degree that significantly affected my ability to navigate the site, but enough that it slowed down my normal workflows. I also found it tough to find visibility on which actions were actually occuring, rather than a top level report.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Reply?

It automates the email campaigns for me and it tells me each sequence which one it's working better than others.

What do you dislike about Reply?

There are 3 or more email formats within a company, and you will have to guess which one you would choose. Therefore, it's not that accurate and it creates bounce emails. Sometimes the reply extension doesn't work and I need to remove it and add to chrome extension back and forth. Sometimes, Linkedin sales navigator updates their website, so people don't send automated email campaigns without viewing their profile.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

Whenever Linkedin updates its website so people can't send automated emails without viewing their profiles, reply.io tries its best to update the system so customers can continue using the functionality of view profile automation.

"Powerful to Use, but a little tough to navigate."
What do you like best about Reply?

drip campaign functionality. works really well. It is super easy to set up those campaigns, and have them run. We currently have 5-10 campaigns running all the time with Reply.

What do you dislike about Reply?

it is a little tough to navigate on the platform, doing things like updating accounts can be tough. it also is tough to navigate between accounts, as an admin. I currently am the admin for our team, and have to switch between team member accounts often, and this is a cumbersome process. For me, support is also very slow, but it has picked up during the last few weeks.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

Drip campaign marketing is our main need, and Reply works really well for that. We are able to "set and forget" campaigns really easily. Just overall, the UI is a little tough to navigate.

What do you like best about Reply?

I like that the emails that I get from email search are 95% accurate

What do you dislike about Reply?

I don't like that the monthly subscription doesn't include unlimited email search. Also it a bit difficult to see the content of the email chain when I check reports of the email sequences. Meaning that if someone replied, I can't just click and check what did they say. I need to go to my Gmail and search the email and check the reply.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

I try to boost sales and get more leads with gold email campaigns

"Update - lots of bugs lately"
What do you like best about Reply?

Ease of use, integration into other systems and customer service is better than any other organization. Update - May 10, 2021 - customer service seems to be lacking a bit. I noticed the quick chat feature is now missing from each page and time to respond is also slowing.

What do you dislike about Reply?

The dislikes are relatively trivial and I've shared them with Reply for consideration in future updates. Update - May 10, 2021 - Lots of bugs lately. Nothing hugely impactful, just irritating to deal with.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

Reply simplifies email marketing communication not to mention streamlining and automating responses. As a result, I spend less time on email and email follow up. I also don't worry about dropped balls.

"An unbiased review of an everyday user"
What do you like best about Reply?

The email sequencing and multi-channel support is big win. Also, the LinkedIn email search perhaps is their best feature.

What do you dislike about Reply?

Few of the cons I've found using Reply are: 1) Limited email tracking. Tracks only sequence and the 1st reply (if received) and not the entire correspondence. Also, wouldn't track emails initiated from other email clients (Gmail / Outlook etc.). A basic functionality which competition already does and is essential for every Sales / BD Rep. 2) Doesn't automatically create contacts from people CCed by the prospect - Doesn't add them to the same step in the same sequence. Instead of having to add them to receive further sequence steps, Rather the system should keep it all in the history. 3) Lastly, doesn't support excluding sequence from Public Holidays based on User location

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

The cold automation outreach takes away all necessary hassle. However, the basic features that's been missing needs to be considered.

"Good UI but linkedin features could be improved"
What do you like best about Reply?

The UI, contact management and email sequence features are easy to configure.

What do you dislike about Reply?

For linkedin sequences, you have to have the prospect's email address. Most of the time I don't, so I have to manually enter a placeholder address. This also means that I have to manually enter prospects into reply instead of using the browser plugin, so I wait until a linkedin connection is made before doing this. I'd much rather have the plugin help speed up this process.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

Linkedin outreach is my primary use.

"Pretty good platform, but takes forever to load"
What do you like best about Reply?

The platform does a good job of sending out messages, managing opt outs, and running campaigns. The customer support team quickly gets to every question that I have. This is by far the best part of the feature.

What do you dislike about Reply?

The system sometimes takes absolutely forever to load which can be frustrating. Also the layout isn't completely intuitive.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are looking for a solution that can send targeted sales emails out to a large group of people. We have actually seen a good deal of success from Reply, although a lot of the work has proven to be manual.

"Cold email marketing on autopilot, deceptive pricing."
What do you like best about Reply?

As someone who's done a great deal of cold email outreach campaigns on a plethora of platforms, Reply.io's modern and slick UI is it's biggest asset. That, alongside the many settings that are given enable marketers to leave nothing up to chance. Everything can be tested (with their native A/B testing tool) and improved upon. Also, the continous improvements from the developers are great to see. I've been using it for roughly 4-months, and have seen 3 major updates and feature implementations... really good to know these guys have a product roadmap planned out!

What do you dislike about Reply?

Tread carefully - pricing is not as it seems. You are limited to 3 email accounts, with $20 added per email account per month afterwords. This is not mentioned on the pricing page, now the terms and conditions. The unlimited tier is NOT unlimited. Sometimes the site loads very slowly, or clicking on a certain tab/button will not work. This is likely a Chrome Desktop issue, though, since the site loads and works just fine on my mobile (iPhone 6s).

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

-Automated outreach -Personalization -AB testing -Email validation -Reports, metrics, and dashboards. Reply is NOT the only tool that does email automation, but I've used quite a few and I can tell you this is the best and cheapest email tool in it's class.

"Slick automations, poor prospecting tool"
What do you like best about Reply?

Reply lets you quickly build sequences to contact prospects by email, text, call, and LinkedIn (Message, InMail, Connection Request). The user interface is straightforward and doesn't require any coding.

What do you dislike about Reply?

Since LinkedIn limits the number of InMail you can send to profiles who are not connections, Reply's email scraping feature is enticing. After installing the Reply Chrome extension and creating a sequence, I opened up a list in LinkedIn Sales Navigator and starting using Reply's tool to scrape profiles for email addresses. After scraping over 700 profiles, only about 15% had email addresses. If Reply can't find an email address, then you can't enter the prospect into a sequence (even if the sequence has no email steps). You can do a little manual work (Open the contact in Reply, add a fake email address, and then enter them into a non-email sequence.) However, this process takes more time and eventually hits the limit of InMail messages to profiles that are not connections. (Also, you can't send manual email message sequences unless you're using the Chrome extension. I thought I sent several emails using the Reply dashboard, only to find out that they never sent. Now I need to find the prospects again and re-enter them into the sequence.)

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm trying to send automated, customized emails from my business Gmail address. The goal is to save time without the emails looking like they are sent from a mass-email tool.

"Good service, but..."
What do you like best about Reply?

Reply has preaty good UI/UX, nice automatization with the access to deep customization. Has a bunch of integrations with CRMs. Good and pretty helpful Chrome extension for emails search on LinkedIn (when it works). Also appreciate Tutorials and responsive support team.

What do you dislike about Reply?

You can't use your folder structure from Templates while creating a new sequence. You are just offered with all your templates combined in one folder, so you have to scroll a lot to find the necessary template. Preaty annoying since you've wasted a ton of time creating folder structure and when it's time to actually use it, you have no such option. Chrome extension is slow, sometimes it doesn't open, so you have to re-instal it. You don't have an option to stop the search (at least I haven't found it). That's pretty uncomfortable when you open a company's page on LinkedIn with hundreds of prospects and you just need a couple of them, so while you're saving them to Reply, Reply can add new prospects that you don't really need, so you have to fix it manually in Reply.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

It saves a ton of time, you can execute a full cold outreach sequence with hundreds of prospects

What do you like best about Reply?

Automated sending when campaign is running

What do you dislike about Reply?

Incredibly inconsistent experience in which there are often short-medium term issues that take a long time to be resolved. Sometimes they know an issue is happening but don’t tell me until I report. Core parts of the integration don’t work often. Bug fixes/feature deploys aren’t on schedule. I’ve had service people make edits that they don’t switch back.

"Reply not the best solution"
What do you like best about Reply?

It's easy to create campaigns with Reply, and I liked that I could use "schedules" (days of the week and times when it was acceptable to send a campaign) across multiple campaigns, which reduced redundant work. Also, Reply integrates with Gmail, which was helpful.

What do you dislike about Reply?

Overall, I found Reply to be clunky, not at all intuitive, difficult to use, and even more challenging to monitor.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used Reply to send outbound drip e-mails to potential customers. Reply did generate some leads that I wouldn't have been able to reach otherwise, but it was not the best tool for developing sophisticated marketing campaigns.

"Reply is an outdated method for cold outreach. Customer service is seriously lacking"
What do you like best about Reply?

Only good thing I liked about this software was the Linked-In multi channel outreach. Unfortunately it constantly gets disconnected.

What do you dislike about Reply?

They are very predatory when it comes to pricing and renewals. No notice is provided and they auto charge your card without making it clear. There is no way to cancel or remove your credit card from the platform without contacting them directly. I tried cancelling and they charged my $500 because I was three days past the renewal date. Their monthly rate is $90 on the website so this made no sense. Definately would not reccomend to anyone, way better tools out there who are much more reasonable for renewals and customer service.

We saved time prospecting and reaching out to cold leads to warm them up.

"Good for agencies, needs work"
What do you like best about Reply?

It aligns well with the agency model of managing multiple domains in one place. Warm-up email works well but got complicated when they moved to Mail Toaster. If you are strictly using it to send emails it does what it should do.

What do you dislike about Reply?

Its a functional disaster, I feel like I am engaging with tech support every other day. There are massive functional differences between the web log in and the chrome extension. Views are different and you have to use the extension on top of the web log in for some functions and views to work. You cant view which lists contacts are in on the web page the Reply team directs you to use the extension instead of being able to view it all in one place. Its a roundabout process if you get an undelivered email to get it back in the sequence starting from the beginning. There is also a lack of consistency between the task records on the extension and the web page. When you attempt to upload a batch of contacts within a specific list you created it does not work, it ignores the prompt that you chose that list and uploads it to your all contacts list and the tech supports teams only suggestion is to create a filter with a contact upload date that then generates a list you cna move around. I like the tool, it just feels like everything that should take 1 step takes about 4

"Buggy and runs afoul of Linkedin"
What do you like best about Reply?

It is pretty comprehensive. However, there are tons of little things it can't do or are buggy that really makes it hard to use. I've signed up and canceled a few times because it checks all the boxes, but I keep canceling because it doesn't work in so many cases.

What do you dislike about Reply?

The worst thing about this is the Linkedin automation. Linkedin blocked me because of using the tool. I also have gotten my email inbox blocked. I keep having to write into support for basic technical questions because the product is not intuitive. I don't recommend this tool. It would be worth the price if it did everything it said it would do, but it doesn't. It is also incredibly confusing to integrate to hubspot and I'm very technical. I needed to write into support and it still barely worked.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

It "should" solve email automation and Linkedin automation but fails at both because of its bugginess.

What do you like best about Reply?

What do you dislike about Reply?

They charge you for what you already have paid for. Their customer service not only does not try to redo their mistakes but is super rude and entitled. Extremely bad experience. "I would never recommend Reply to anyone"
What do you like best about Reply?

The data that you can collect regarding the success of your email campaigns is easy to find and review. The layout makes it easy to understand, and replies stand out very well. It's easy to see how well a campaign is doing because of this feature.

What do you dislike about Reply?

The nomenclature used on the website can be very confusing, which leads to a lot of frustration. A prime example of this is the use of the word "Sequence" throughout the website. On Reply, a sequence represents the emails in a sales sequence that are sent to contacts on your email list. These can be custom or made from a template. The issue is that custom-built Sequences are not found under the "Sequence" section of the website. This is incredibly confusing after you create a sequence and try to find it. It's also difficult to edit an existing sequence. The issue with sequences is immensely frustrating, as this is the most used feature for our organization, as we are constantly creating, testing, and editing sequences for email campaigns. If the navigation of the website was changed, so sequences can be easily found and edited, I would be much more likely to recommend this product.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are solving the problem of sending emails to a large number of contacts and reviewing the success of those emails. At the most basic level, Reply does this very well.

What do you like best about Reply?

Simple interface. Apart from that, nothing.

What do you dislike about Reply?

The list is very long First of all, 1. They offer lower pricing only to deceive customers to try their software. Once somebody has tried, they will force a three-month minimum period that they did not mention on their pricing page. 2. There is no auto-renew button or option on their plans and billing page, yet they will automatically charge you. 3. There is no option to cancel the subscription on the plans and billing page. They want you to contact them, but HOW. They do not have a support email id or Phone number. The only way is the chat which also is not 24x7. 4. When you contact them to refund the amount they wrongly charged, they would tell you that there is no refund policy and redirect you to the policies page.

It gives guidance about what should work in outgoing emails. Handles scheduled emails from large CSV files

What do you dislike about Reply?

I ran into two bugs in reply.io, both of which are pretty bad and which caused me to waste a lot of time. I sent them a screencast showing me reproducing the bugs. They didn't seem to care. I emailed the sales rep with the screencast, and she said that the monthly plans don't include support. So apparently they'll ignore the bug in their software. I've never worked with a website that seems to care so little about the quality of what they sell.

-Does not allow users to reply to emails using pre-saved templates -Save function doesn't work -No customer support by phone--"chat" support is rarely helpful -Inordinate amount of time to set up -Impossible to schedule emails or track analytics with precision -Does not allow automated emails to people who open vs. don't open emails.

What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?

This product has not solved any of my business problems. I can only assume the positive reviews are fake/paid.
