Great ease of use, flexible and powerfull headless CMS. Contact with the company is friendly and swift.
Wish we learned about this CMS sooner. Ease of use and flexibility is much better then headless CMS we used before.
It is helping our clients to create content for thir headless websites/webshops. Because of the intuitive UI clients can work with Storyblok with limited to no training.
Storyblok has a great UX, for content editors using the visual editor.
As far as I know, there is no possibility of writing the content schema as code.
Storyblok effortlessly decouples content and presentation, fostering collaboration and streamlining workflows for enhanced productivity.
It is very practical in use for marketeers and very developer friendly
That you need a multiple space setup for when you want a separate test/staging/production environment.
A seperate CMS for products which do not have a good composable CMS with preview.
We initially tried it because the pricing is fantastic for small teams (with a generous free tier) and stayed because it wokrs like a charm, integrates perfectly with vue.js, has an image service built it and is lightning fast and provides a solid SEO base.
The only thing that would make it even better is a video hosting functionality that is as great as storybloks image hosting functionality. We use vimeo for videos which is great too.
We can create the design and layout for all our marketing pages exactly the way we want them to be. This we then hook up to storyblok where our blog content is written and stored. So even if we change our tech stack storyblok will still keep all our content and can be hooked up to the new tech stack again easily.
It is very easy to create blog posts on the website and create internal linking across the blog. Also crazy what in regards to page speed is possible. We always have a page speed of 100. That also helps with ranking on Google.
It is necessary to have a developer or good tech skills to set it up properly. For a marketing person like me, it is not possible to set storyblok up easily. Or I just did not find the solution.
Very easy handling for blog content and crazy page speeds on Google.
The flexibility, simplicity and generally how developer-friendly it is
Some components can be improved the fit the needs of a developer.
It solves the problem of a confusing and complex CMS. The benefit is that it's both developer and customer-friendly.
Storyblok is SaaS product that is what I love most about it, best content management tool, it can also improve productivity, as an API tester it's a great site for me.
Sometimes it lags otherwise it is a very good product.
It's helps us to manage the component content, to have great digital experiences
It's very easy to get started as the blok concept and stories as a concept are easy to grasp. From there it becomes very easy to work with any framework. The dashboard is also very intuitive.
It's a bummer that for a blog I can't easily create folders by date to eventually have a slug like blog/2022/03/29/using-storyblok but I'm just nitpicking. The documentation at times would always be a couple of features or changes behind so if you're not much of a tinkerer, you would miss out on some things.
It currently powers my portfolio. I'm also using it for an e-commerce product to handle consumer-facing documentation i.e. privacy policyy, FAQs etc. Image processing has also been a standout feature of all of this too.
When we use Storybloks visual editor, we can make changes and see how they look without having to save them at the same time. There are a lot of front-end frameworks that Storyblok can work with, which is good for us. These content blocks make it easy to write content for even the most complicated projects. This app has a lot of them. In Storyblok, we can change our photos to make them fit on the web and in apps. It lets us make our content work for people from many different languages and countries. Our team likes using Storybloks internationalization and localization tools because they make it easy to write content for a global audience. When we want to get to our data, we've used GraphQL API. It is good for the community, for developers, and for people who want to use it. It has a lot of support for a lot of different programming languages and frameworks. As a publisher, it's easy to choose a component because it's simple to use and can show a preview of what it looks like. Using the JSON format, you can get to their APIs.
From technical perspective, adoption requires time and effort as there are multiple type APIs and building seamless UX with the live preview editor is not an easy task.
Easy to use solution with a great UX that everyone can enjoy, from programmers and writers to marketers and everyone else who works with the site.
Clear intuitive interface. Role management is flexible and powerful. GraphQL in v2 is a great PLUS.
Search results are not always relevant and backup of data is not exhaustive (datasources are not supported yet)
Allow multiple users to work seamlessly on the same data which saves us a lot of time and frustation!
