I like that I have a lot of control over SEO and keywords and how people will find my site. It's also easy to navigate.

There is a bit of learning curve, but it's definitely manageable for any new blogger

Being a new blogger, Wordpress.org makes it easy to start

I love that you can create all types of different websites with Wordpress. We love that the platform is free to use and open source with thousands of plugins rather free or with premium support. There is a huge following of developers that create out of the box ready to go tools to enhance the WordPress experience as well website. You can create a standard website, to a membership, to an eCommerce website and the list goes on with this platform. I love that it is easy to use as well train clients in on how to manage their website.

The only thing I dislike is that the platform does need to be updated time to time which can cause conflicts with your plugins or themes which may not have the updates to match the new coding structure which can break your website if you are not careful when doing the update

We are creating all types of different business need solutions with this platform. We have created membership websites that sell courses, to eCommerce sites selling millions a year to standard informative but eye-catching websites. The number one benefit we have realized is you can scale up with this platform no matter what direction you are going in which makes it a huge asset as well value for your client.

After learning the system it's easy to keep up with. Beautiful sites. Lots of templates. It's been so long since I started that I can't remember it being hard, but I know it was. Now it's easy to work with. Everything makes sense. You can do anything with a wordpress site!

It takes a bit of a learning curve to really "get" it, but once you figure it all out it's pretty intuitive.

I appreciate that many people are familiar with WordPress. When you are able to skip the steps of explaining the whole process or program to someone, productivity is greatly improved.

It hasn't always been very user friendly. Its getting better, but can be frustrating when you know what outcome you want (say for a website), but are unable to achieve it.

Many of my clients house their websites on WordPress. It is trusted, widely known and affordable. However, I've personally felt very glad that I have a wide breadth of knowledge in how to use it as many people consider that a great skill when hiring, working, etc.

I originally started out blogging on wordpress.com but .org is absolutely the way to go if you plan to make blogging a business. It's easy to navigate even for someone with little technical background.

Frequent system updates make my Google Adsense Ads disappear.

Ease of use, customization- love the prepoulated templates

Difficult to fiddle with HTML and switch back and forth between that and rich to make sure edits are made.

Getting blogs out into market- connecting with other bloggers

Wordpress gives you free reign of your thoughts and feelings, from the background and layout of your website to the way you present your words. It does not stop at words, either. You can upload videos, pictures, collages and many more to truly tell the world (or maybe just yourself) what you desire.

The only thing that I slightly do not like are pre-completed layouts. They seem a little basic and the ones that are more advanced or detailed are pricey.

It is an easy way to put products and your business practices out there for everyone to see. It's so easy to manage, that almost anyone can use it and make a decent website. The ease of use will allow businesses, especially small, start-up's, to really expand and offer their products or assistance.

I love the ability to customize your entire site via plugins

There are some limitations in wp that I've encountered but I don't have any dislikes.

I provide websites for those in need by utilizing the wp.org platform. In comparison to other cms systems, I've found wp.org to be far superior.

I always get confused between WordPress.org and .com -- also confused by Admin and regular .com.

I like how I can edit, update or modify our website from anywhere.

I don't like how un-organized the media section is. It would be awesome if it could be sorted by user defined categories or folders that are only for viewing purposes. Folders that arn't actually used in the website hosting.

Word Press is providing us a quick and easy way to manage our website without needing to know extensive coding and HTML.

There is no limits to what you can build using WordPress, anything you can think of you can find the proper way to implemented it, the ability to customize it to your clients needs makes it very valuable, no need to spend hours coding every single aspect of your website.

On a wordpress.org hosted website there are too many limitations, I understand that certain limitations are in placed so that client can upgrade and pay more for the services, other than that a self hosted blog is fairly easy and cheap.

Cost Effective, time effective (&cost), the ability to have an online presence in a matter of minutes. How easily available are the tools that I need. How easy I can optimize my web site for search engines. WordPress has it all very easily accessible.

This program is so easy to customize and create an above average website. 9/10 times, you can't even tell it's a Wordpress site it looks so professional.

So far, we have had no issues using Wordpress. Perhaps they could offer more instructional videos through Wordpress.

Not much I dislike. I guess the only thing that comes to mind, and this isn't a specific Wordpress issue, it is more related to sites having to work on mobile and desktop... It is hard to design a site that doesn't look like a site. In other words, some of the best web sites, in the "olden days," were designed to not look like a website. This made them stand out and more fun from a visual standpoint.

It allows us to rapidly deploy responsive websites that are clean and professional. I've received inquiries (that led to sales) from organizations throughout the U.S. as a result of Wordpress' great SEO.

I love the number of great options of personalization WordPress gives you. It makes it easy for you to stand out, and create exactly what you want, and how you want to portray it.

I do not really have any dislikes. Sometimes it may take a while to learn different things you can do with WordPress, but that does not mean it is not user friendly. You just have to have the time to go through different options and learn how to tweak your pagea.

I am able to get my business out there, and provide personal stories from our clients. We are also able to provide out name to a larger audience, in a way that our stories earn us potential customers trust.

Wordpress is easy to navigate, has nice templates that are pleasing to the eye (if chosen wisely), and is helpful in taking minimum time to make a personal website. The last part is especially useful for people like me who only needed a personal website to put on my CV when filling out application forms, knowing that my potential reviewers will not actually go on the personal website nor judge me based on how good a personal website is.

I honestly have not used it enough to dislike Wordpress. But I do find that I loathe spending about 2 days fixing picture sizes and stuff. It would be nicer it it were even easier to use--in the sense that it could be less time-consuming. But again, I'm probably not the average user. I also do not know who went on the website--is it someone from where I applied for, or just another random person who happened to stumble upon it? It would be nice it I can track the location or type of organization that accessed my website.

I only used Wordpress when I was on the job market for academic jobs. Usually we need a personal website to make us more marketable, but that's not totally necessary. Benefit wise, I realized that some employers actually did go on to the website and downloaded my picture to make the poster for my job talk. It was pleasantly surprising, although seeing my face in large print outside the department door was not exactly super fun on an interview trip.

WordPress.org is a simple way to get started with your own webpage. Easy to use, lots to customize, and you don't have to be a web designer to be able to create a page.

Through WordPress, I am able to have a place for easy parent to teacher communication. Students can also check out the site at home and get tips and strategies for practicing at home and can watch and listen to songs they are working on.

Versatility, for design and abilities, great for branding, and easy for content creation and blogging. Plenty of resources for help within the wordpress community as well.

Creating the theme and design for your site with wordpress can be tedious if you're not familiar with the platform or a website designer. You'll have to teach yourself everything if you're new, but there are quite a few resources that can help you, as well as easier themes that don't need too much customization to get what you want for your website's design.

Wordpress allowed me to create a blog 100% to what I want as my brand, with enough plugins and abilities to help me set up the start of my new business.

I have been using WP since 2009 boh for my own site and several clients. I love that the software continues to evolve. What was a serviceable product for blogging and simple websites is now a robust content management system that can integrate with every major commerce and CRM platform out there.

Dilemma with plugins. Automatically updating may result in strange results, but manual updating can be challenging with many sites to update.

Sturdy, versatile platform for building sites. Have not come across a client request yet that WP could not meet!

WordPress is a robust platform for website development that is backed by a vast library of plugins and support to enhance the individual website experience.

Updates often break plugins due to compatibility issues and there is no sure way to foresee the outcome prior to an update.

This is by far the best blogging platform i have ever used. With Wordpress anyone can create a "WebSite" in 1 day. All you need to do is choose a good theme, have a good subject to write about and that's it. Wordpress have tons of addons. This makes it a flexible CMS. I really love how easy was for me to create my first blog. It took me just a day to start blogging. After that my wife also started to blog and know she have a income from her blog. I like the versatility of word press. It is easy to get started, and to train friends, clients and colleges in the basic content manager. Creating a site and page structure is simple and intuitive, however it is also extremely flexible allowing nearly unlimited customization even for those with little technical know-how.

It is very easy for the design to become bloated and load slowly. Securing the website can be a pain, but many plug-ins are available to help. Sometimes upgrades and server integration can be a pain, but there is plenty of documentation and community support to overcome almost any problem!

WordPress allows me to present content, brands and information in a clear way and keep up with display trends and best practices. It is easy to integrate almost any third party api, and many already have plugins written to handle them. WordPress allows me to put my best foot forward on the internet.

WordPress makes it easy to create a blog and display the exact content that you want.

If you want to customize your entire site, it would difficult.
