What do you like best about WordPress.org?

Ease of use and a great community. There are so many options to give your site customizations.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

A bit of a learning curve. At first there are many things to learn, and occasionally I run into issues that I can't solve quickly without doing a lot of research, but the longer I use it, the more I know how to solve recurring issues quickly. I also utilize a personal database of common issues for quick reference.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

I create websites for clients that offer a wide range of capabilities using plugins. It is easy to keep track of all of my sites, and updates are easy to maintain.

What do you like best about WordPress.org?

It's pretty straightforward, and enough people use it that any questions can get answered through a quick Google search. Also, it's free.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Sometimes it loses my writing posts. It also can't seem to handle that I run multiple websites.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to reach a wider reader audience than other blog platforms. By using the product, I can build up a readership that will theoretically be dedicated enough to follow when I start using the service to unveil products.

"A Free Wonderful WordPress Site is a must for all Entrepreneurs "
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

Wordpress is so easy to use anyone can have a website. One problem that people have with some platforms is the level of difficulty. When things are overly complicated, it makes it much harder for them to manage their site as well as they could. WordPress is very simple to use. Setting things up, managing them and keeping everything updated is a breeze.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Nothing, there is no reason to consider any other platform when you are creating a website.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

When you are creating a website, it is a good idea to do everything you can to make it more appealing. There are countless plugins available to those with WordPress websites, and it would be a huge mistake to ignore this. There are some plugins that you will have to pay for if you want to use them, but there are many others that can be used without you paying anything at all.

"Wordpress has been wonderful"
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

One of my favorite things about WordPress is how easy it is to use (for a young, spry post college student). It's a popular website that many people know about, so having knowledge of it and how to use also looks great at job interviews.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

I guess the ONLY thing I can think of to say is I wish it was a little "prettier". It's already super aesthetic, but maybe make it a little more "young" (or maybe give the user the preference on how it looks like when using it).

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I interned, this was a great platform for my boss to get her products out there. Using an easy-to-use website has helped her and her team grow and do business.

"WP is the Best Website Builder"
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

Wordpress.org balances ease of use with maximum customization. Plugins, in particular, make it simple to add new features with minimal engineer investment.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

My Wordpress sites run slower than the .NET sites I work on. There is code that is built-in that can't be optimized.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our organization historically builds sites in .NET, but since they had to be built from scratch, our launch time was slow. Wordpress.org lets us launch new websites quickly, without compromising quality.

What do you like best about WordPress.org?

I can install my own theme and customize it. I have access to many free themes and I can modify, or do anything I want to the site. In addition, I have the ability to install plug-ins like jetpack. I can install google analytics to get insights.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Unlike wordpress.com, auto backup facility is not included. I don't like the fact that I am responsible for my own updates and backups. It is not free and I have to pay for web hosting and domain registration fee on a regular basis.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wordpress is great for people who know how to code, but has several accessible templates for those who don't. There is tons of documentation all over the web, so help is only a click away at any time.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Some things are not as user-friendly or intuitive as I would like and I find myself researching things more than I would like to, but all in all not bad. Plus updating WordPress causing too many error and breaks at times.

"Wordpress is perfect for tech savvy folks who aren't coders"
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

Wordpress is fantastic. With the right theme you can build a beautiful and functional website without extensive html/css or other coding knowledge. It's flexible without being overwhelming.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Honestly, not much! If you aren't super tech savvy and you try to do something from scratch or use a template without a builder on the back end it can be difficult, but that's more user error than anything.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a remote office and we have multiple users who have to update client web pages. The builder we use (Divi 3.0) makes that so simple. It's great that so many people can easily make updates.

"Great for Websites & SEO"
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

I built my website through wordpress/prophoto, and it's been an amazing tool! I love how seamlessly these two programs work together to help me design my site and make it everything I ever hoped for. If there's ever a time when I don't know how to do something, I can just email tech and they always respond within a few hours - great customer service!

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Sometimes things are hidden, and you have to perform a few different clicks until you get where you want to go, and can get annoying.

"The ONLY content management system for non-developers"
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

As a graphic designer, I don't code. I also know very minimal HTML. Yet, I'm still able to manage/edit/create for my client's Wordpress websites easily and without development training.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

The only thing I'd like to see is an easier way to see the changes I'm making - perhaps how the website is looking in real time while I make changes. It's time consuming to hit "update" and keep going back and forth between the front and back end.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

"Wordpress is great - I highly recommend for everyone!"
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

I like wordpress because anyone can use it regardless of your skill level. They have so many plugins that make it easy to accomplish any design or operation you want for your website. Wordpress is affordable and they have so many resources online that anyone can learn it pretty quickly. So many businesses use wordpress to create elaborate websites and they are very easy to manage as well. The back end is really straight forward and easy on the eyes. You don't have to know HTML coding for wordpress but of course it is a plus.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

I personally think wordpress requires you to sometimes take more steps than necessary because it is so basic. In other platforms if you are experienced you can accomplish some task faster.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

The benefits of wordpress greatly out do the number of cons about word press. The benefits include having a great website possibly built by a professional but then being able to manage it in house without having to keep paying for a web designer. Anyone can learn wordpress.

"For Scaling Businesses, Wordpress Should Be Your Go-To Platform."
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

- Flexibility: With other platforms (like Squarespace), there's a limit to customization and features you can include. With Wordpress, the world is your oyster. - Easily finding developers to work with it: If you're utilizing outsourced dev, Wordpress is commonplace. There's always someone available to implement quick tweaks or fixes. - Integrations: If you can dream it, you can build it with Wordpress. If you want to add a new feature to your website, it's as simple as a quick Google search: " [feature] integration for Wordpress."

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

If you want to get the most out of Wordpress, you need to have an HTML developer or someone with a technical background. If you don't, there's a substantial learning curve. It takes a while to really understand how the UI works. If you don't have someone experienced in the space, you'll want to watch a lot of YouTube how-to's or take a quick course on it. It seems that you can't have a feature-rich, easy-to-use platform yet. I'd compare Wordpress to a Windows operating system: It doesn't have the Apple-grade UI, but if you know what you're doing it will serve you well.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to leverage outsourced development to take our website to the next level. Originally we had a static, locally built site. We explored moving it to Squarespace, but know that we'll want more advanced functionality as we scale. Wordpress gives us that functionality and has allowed us to work with many different outsourced developers to add additional buildout. Eventually, we hope to
