Workable is easy to use and very helpful in easily posting jobs!
Sometimes difficult to see which job boards are free and which are not.
Helpful in filtering all employees to one site.
It helps with efficiency and helps fast-track the hiring process, especially in a start-up environment. In addition, it is straightforward to use and makes it easy to coordinate with other team members.
One downside is the lack of visual integrations/embed links within templates, signatures, etc.
The amount of time it takes to schedule and keep up with current candidates, how easily integrated it is with Google Suite, and coordinating with team members.
I like its minimalism, it has everything I need and only things I need. It's very easy to understand and requires zero training to be proficient.
I's say search and filtering is the least convenient part of Workable. There is a such feature, but it's not very organic and exists somewhere on the side. For me, it's more convenient to rely on direct links shared to me and open exch candidate in a separate browser tab rather than go to the 'candidates' section and try to filter there
As an interviewer, constantly involved in the hiring process, I value that Workable keeps all relevant information and chats on one page, so I can be sure nothing is missing and I can read it in few minutes
Workable has several integrations that allow ease of use and permits our hiring managers to manage their candidates seamlessly.
I would like to see Workable incorporate a more thorough E-Signature workflow process that allows several process owners to sign off on offers being extended to candidates.
We do not have a dedicated recruiting function, so Workable allows our HR department to best partner with Hiring Managers to fill their open positions collaboratively.
the tagging system and the option to mail the candidate through workable. Its, basically a 1 stop solution, all information is there. I like that different recruiters can add feedback on the same profile.
i dont really like the interface, it becomes a bit chaotic when you have a lot open positions and candidates. Also i would like if in the referral option you would just upload someone linkedin vs having them to send you their CVs.
Workable can very efficiently organize all the information of my company regarding open positions, different stages of the applicant and feedback on applicants. Its a 1 stop solution, one more element i would like to see is to help you on workforce planning. I am not sure if it exists but it could have a goalsetting per month on how many hires you would like to do and analyze if the prorated recruitment and acceptance rates are aligned with you goal. If not i could you notify me via alerts that you need to focus on more interviews.
I really like it provides me with organization and more order, I also love that it is easy to use and very intuitive. Workable has all the tools and sections that I need.
Sometimes the section for analytics does not register all the calls or correct numbers.
We can keep track and better communication with our candidates. We are a team of 10+ people and workable allows us to have order with how are we doing with our positions
How we can set interviews via workable and how we can pull up old applicants and jobs!
Really no downsides at the moment other then most sourced applicants resumes are very old and they do not have a working email.

It's very organized, you have all you need in one view. Great to be able to leave comment and also be able to tag your co-workers.
Would like to have a function where you can "hold" to your decision on iffy candidates
It's helped me hiring a few people and made that process very easy.
It helps to keep all candidate's pipelines organized. Supports permissions for different roles, which is nice. Greate email templating functionality. It also helps to discover the candidate's profiles on social networks.
The scheduling module can be thought through a bit better. Would be great if it would support custom scheduling windows (together with google calendar integration) and also limits to not allowing more than a certain amount of interviews per day or one after another.
Communication and coordination of different people involved in the hiring process. Reminder to followup with candidates if they are not responding for some time. Consistent communications with candidates.
Ability to create your own hiring structure and steps in the process with associated templates – saves a lot of time, minimises mistakes, and helps to keep the process fair and easy to manage.
No ability to "unsend" an email you just sent but might've spotted a typo – having a 30 seconds window would be great!
Simplifying and structuring the hiring process, helping to involve the right people at the right stages of the process.
