The ability to create vector graphics with ease. It works great when exporting SVG code for web.

It is very complex. Requires a high level of expertise to achieve excellent results and your computer needs to a have enough RAM and a good processor to render graphic properly.

Centralizing everything with Adobe Creative Cloud and Illustrator generates a better atmosphere when it comes to collaboration and productivity.

Light software, really straight to the point. Very nice to enlarge pictures without loosing quality or even to add quality to low resolution ones. Love the zoom option and the before/after view.

It is kind of hard to save the edited image. It would be nice to save in bunch as well. Not very fluid when it comes to import project. (The whole import/Export options in general.)

Mostly to add quality to low resolution images ( because of its origins or because it got enlarge ). I use it when I got to work on large print projects like a billboard or a wall art.

Photoshop is by far the best thing after sliced bread. Allowing you to create any design needs outperforming any other graphic software. What I love and use the most at the moment are artboards, allowing me to have multiple artboards on one screen, great for app and rich media design.

Even though photoshop is technically made for this, I wish it would improve its animating function. There's great potential for a new market. It is an expensive tool to have and wish it had more support in vector graphics

In terms of solving problems, photoshop actually solved my life and giving me an opportunity for a great career and graphic design. I fell in love with photoshop as a teenager and blessed with all the opportunities it brought me in life.

What I do like about Illustrator is that you can use it for anything. I got to use it for a huge project a few years ago and I was able to get an A+! It was of my late Grandpa, we found a picture behind this other photo and I was able to go in and color it. My now late Grandma started to cry happy tears at seeing her late husband be restored.

There isn't anything I disliked about the program. It was really easy to use!

I'm able to help people remember and reconnect with memories. I'm grateful for what this product has done for my family

I love that I can create exactly what I'm imagining. Through InDesign, I made such a beautiful architecture portfolio and poster for my symposium. I love that I could make something almost imaginable become real. Amazing effects, design, color and organization. Its easy to upload images within the program.

I dont have anything that I could say about InDesign. Adobe consistently brings everything to the table.

InDesign has a great color scheme and lets you fully manipulate the effects of these colors and design to create a beautiful ending. I'd like to thank my admissions acceptance to this program because without it my poster wouldnt have been so greatly recognized.

I love everything about Lightroom. 6 years ago when I started taking pictures as a second shooter for a wedding photographer, I used Lightroom daily. It it so easy to learn how to use and can do so much with the click of a button! I even saved some of my favorite presets and don't have to do much except click it and my pictures are all of a sudden beyond beautiful. Even if I so happen to take a not so great picture that has some noise in it, I can fix all of that so easily with Lightroom.

The only thing I dislike is that its not easy to place my logo on multiple pictures at a time. I can only see how it looks on one picture and hope that it looks just as good and is in the right place on my others. I normally just save them one at a time so I can check but that ends up taking me a while.

It benefits me by allowing me to provide high quality and beautiful pictures to my clients. I've never had a unhappy client to date thanks to Lightroom!

The name Photoshop speaks for itself. It has been a staple in studios for decades!

It's a big program and makes our computer run hot. Would love a "Lite" version.

We run a major product photography studio in Los Angeles - photoshop is just as important as our cameras and lights!

It is the starting point for almost every design I create. I use the artboards quite a bit for brainstorming different versions of a design, especially iterations of a logo.

I wish it were easier to use some of the more advanced features like gradient maps. I've used Illustrator for close to 15 years and I've never been able to figure this out.

Illustrator is absolutely critical for creating scalable artwork. The designs I create need to be used across different media and at a variety of sizes and I couldn't do this with any other software.

I have been using Photoshop for years and the UI is second nature to me. I can get complicated tasks done quickly and with ease. I can't think of a day in the last 10 years I haven't done multiple tasks in Photoshop.

I don't like that the scratch disks fill up pretty often on my mac and I have to restart.

I am constantly saving out photos and illustrator vectors for web. I also put together mockups to show a brand identity before its produced on real items like stationary or t-shirts.

Everything I need to create and manipulate images is captured in Adobe Photoshop. The interface is initially a little overwhelming but after taking some training via video and working on several projects, everything falls into place and your productivity soars.

Not sure how this could be done but would still like to see the interface simplified and streamlined. Facing the many controls of a 787 jet is wild.

I love how I can edit things as if they're in Lightroom, then jump right back in Photoshop. Sometimes I use this vs Lightroom since, it's easier to save things in Photoshop than it is in Lightroom.

I don't have many negative things to say, but just know this is not a substitute for Lightroom. It's like a diet version of it.

It solved having to use 2 programs for simple alterations to photos. You'd still want use both for bigger projects, but for quick stuff it just cuts out switching programs in the process.

It can be a bit tricky to get the hang of Photoshop, but once you do, it's very user friendly. There are a ton of user videos out there to help with questions, and the app itself has a ton of videos and guides to help get you started. The recent introduction of Select Subject has been huge for my team, because a large majority of our day consists of cutting out players from photos and the Select Subject tool has made that exponentially faster.

Once you get deeper into designing, it can get a bit confusing. For example, adding filters to multiple layers took a great deal of finesse. In my role, we do a ton of photo cutouts, and the Select Subject tool has been a huge help, but it can come out a bit jagged on the ends if there's not a clear distinction between the subject and background.

I use Photoshop daily. We use it to create graphics and gifs, we edit photos and lay text or logos over photos and graphics. The Creative Cloud makes it extremely helpful to share amongst our team.

I have being using this application for more than 8 years, im a graphic designer and Photoshop allows me create whatever idea i have in my mind, its like a magic wand, because all my projects come true. hundred of features and shorcuts make you your projecs faster than ever.

Some of the disadvantages is that it is a very heavy program, and you need to work with a computer that has many resources and sometime it gets laggy i have many layer mask open.

Right now i have to update my computer because Photoshop need a lot resource so i have to change processor and memory ram to speed up Photoshop. I have a lot of benefits using this magical application, one of them is i learned as never before.

This programme is really versatile and in undoubtedly one of my most used softwares. I use it on a daily basis. I've used Photoshop since CS2 which feels like a long time. I've seen this software develop and improve over the years and makes working on projects easy. It's definitely changed the way graphic designers work.

It would be amazing if you can create vector design with the same fluidity as Illustrator which i believe won't happen anytime soon. Why would they create 1 software when they can create 2 for the same target market?

I use Photoshop to edit images mostly or create social media posts, gifs, web banners, list goes on.

Enables you to be as creative as you want, I love that even after years of using this software it keeps developing and getting better.

I think it would be so cool if this had special 3d features where one can really push boundaries with design even further, I'm hoping it will someday!

I use illustrator for Logos and Generally all other aspects of design, it's usually my starting point whether that's business cards, posters, banners, any typography, package design, book design etc. The list goes on. Illustrator is key software for my design process.
