The functionality and capabilities of AEM are great for a diverse audience with complicated and varying access levels. Components are easy to add and configure, and meet all of our content needs. It is simple to add resources from the Digital Asset Manager and HTML code editor makes it easy to copy and customize existing content (especially during content migration).
Navigating and drilling down to specific areas of the site can be a bit complicated and time-consuming depending on the size and complexity of the site.
We are able to use one site to deliver global and local content within the same platform using targeting and permissions. This platform also allows our employee portal to be responsive and mobile so that associates are able to access the information on the go.
I use adobe for digital content management in my office. This is very useful in tracking all contents across all platforms in my office social media handles. I feel it is easy to integrate across all digital content.
Due to its complex structure, I found very difficult to use it at the beginning. Java knowledge is must for using this product.
I am using multiple social media handles for my company. This helps me to integrate all into one content management and tracke across all queries. I am able to integrate when i need to get some input using forms and questionaries of this product.
Many features such as asset management- it makes the task really simple. Live copy option, adding overrides, many components can be integrated as per the customer requirements. And it doesn't lag any number of people can work on the same node
Not something to dislike but it is really sensitive to network so ut takes 2 tries sometimes to save the changes
It is making it really easy to manage the live sites, it has simple steps in which we can update Live sites without any down time
Easy to Use & Manage all the contents in one go. Available both in Web & App with clean UI/UX. It has regular updates for newer functionalities / look. It is highly secure and ensures the privacy. Ability to onboard multiple users and colloborate with them.
Initial Cost could be higher for startups / small business. User needs time to understand complete functionality though this is positive for some users as it has lots of features. Advance Customization is bit time taking and requires efforts to implement.
Helps in setting all the content at one place and enabling different teams to work together which helps a lot.
It helps to convert the digital data in different formats, Very interesting domain We can create, manage and distribute context-driven messages, products, services and which is scalable. It helps to build websites, mobile apps etc Overall customer support is good
Actually it is complex architecture but it will be easy once you learn.
Scalability, Managing the content.
I like its drag and drop facility. Its easy to use and the resposive pages are very easy to create. The pages are responsive so coding is not requited with the latest edition of AEM, so it saves a lot of time. Its also easy to integrate with other tools for reporting, analysis, spell check and broken link corrections/reporting. Its very easy to implement as well.
Nothing as such, I have been AEM user for almost 3 years now. Its making website creation and management much easier with its continuos updates and new features.
It being user friendly in nature and making website creation and management much easier and quick to implement. Its integration with other tools/applications is much smooth and hassle free.
Well The best utility of adobe experince manager is the fact that the content can be managed stsyematically according to the different platforms we use it for Content marketing purpose and also the integration with Adobe campaign manager to create, choose and dynamically add content to email marketing is fabulous
Well the implementation process is too long and also Onboarding is quite extensive process
The management of content according to the different platform we need to categorically use it as and when needed
There are several aspects that I like about the platform. For example, the extensive suite of tools, robust personalization features, data analysis and reporting capabilities to gain deeper insights into customer behaviour and campaign performance, has a powerful content management system and its ability to integrate with other Adobe products and third-party applications.
Its complexity can be overwhelming for some users. It is relatively expensive and requires a substantial amount of resources, both in terms of IT infrastructure and personnel. It can be challenging to master all aspects of the platform and some users have mentioned limitations in terms of customizing certain features and workflows within the platform.
It is helping to address various digital experience and content management challenges. Being a centralized content management system (CMS) allows us to efficiently create, organize, and deliver content across multiple digital channels. This helps us maintain brand consistency and streamline content workflows.
I really liked the fast and responsiveness in terms of any change I pertain and especially assigning evar values to specific items have been made easy with the new interface.
Altough the new interface is great sometimes, some actions reuquire us to go back to legacy view and it might create a confusion for us while operating the website.
I really liked the way that AEM supporst us (not via Consumer Support) but the built in features that are available to us and eases the content management, as well as content tracking system.
Easy-to-use interface even for beginners of the platform. It doesn't require user to be technical to become efficient with it.
I can't think of any in terms of authoring. However, there is a communication gap between developers and authors regarding development.
Solves our digital asset management and real-time update on our sites.
