Regardless of what I need to do with a video, Premiere will have the tools I need. It's like a great suite of video editing tools: from cuts, transitions, texts, masks, color correction and styling, and even an extensive library of effects. Of course, we have other software that specializes in specific areas, but Premiere has a bit of each of them competently.

For what it proposes, honestly, I think that the software is very competent. The necessary add-ons are provided by other software in the Adobe suite.

Premiere Pro is the first stop for any video file. It's where we do all the structuring of the files: from cuts to initial audio and color adjustments for later export to other external tools.

The learning curve for this incredible program isn't too steep. In a relatively short amount of time, I was able to figure out how to use basic features that produced a sophisticated video.

Proxy edits are sometimes hard to use and that it slows down my computer so much.

I wish there were more video tutorials in the catalog, but you can always find additional resources on youtube and other platforms. This is also something that is likely to improve as the program is around for longer.

I love how you can bring in other Adobe projects, graphics or motion from other Adobe platforms like After Effects, Photoshop or Illustrator.

I can't stand how heavy the LUTS are when color grading. Premiere can only handle so much so I have to do the LUTS at the end of the project three clips at a time, then save, because if not, it will shut down on me and lose my work.

It's helped me so much with social media videos. Easy to take one video and transform its setting to render for different platforms.

I like how many different tools are available all in one place! There is a solution for anything you want to do with your video.

I haven't found anything to dislike. Once I accidentally lost one of my panels, it took a few minutes to figure out how to get it back. But that wasn't too big of an issue.

Although I have Camtasia 2021 (I also love.) and Wondershare Filmora 9, I find that I use Premiere Pro more frequently, like every day. The ease in which I can take a 16:9 video and turn it into a 9:16 (so IG doesn't have a hissy fit) is life-saving. I also love all the ridiculously cool graphics (that come standard, unlike other apps). They have my videos out there looking like a "Brought to you by James Cameron"!

Having to reset the Workspace layout whenever I accidentally close a pane is well a pain.

I can easily edit videos and make them look better quickly. Having access to an app like Premiere Pro allows my client videos to look more polished when posted on social.

As with most apps in the adobe suite, it is a little bit difficult to learn if you don't have a background in video. Also, it is a little expensive if you aren't going to use it very often

Before, I was using Sony Vegas, and it was crashing all the time, and Premiere does not do that. I am able to actually get my work done now since the program is more polished and works better.

When we use lots of after effects linked files in sequence this doesn't behave well while rendering. Then Compression setting is as not easy as FCP

The program gets more powerful and capable with each update. I've been using Premiere Pro for years and don't see that changing anytime soon.

I can't think of any things I dislike. I've heard from others that they wish more After Effects capabilities were inside of premiere as well. Personally I like having those capabilities separate to make sure premiere doesn't get too congested with things going on.

I do all of my cuts in premiere. I can also do my audio mixing there. Then I switch to AE for any visual effects or mo-graphs.

Personally, I like how premiere seamlessly integrates with the entire Adobe creative cloud. You are easily able to move from after effects to premiere to media encoder in order to make your work perfect while also getting it done in a timely fashion.

I do not like how difficult it is to learn the platform. I used to have to teach students how to use adobe premiere, and the students found it very difficult to understand. Though the program is very versatile, it is not very user friendly to beginners.

I am able to edit videos for clients that look sleek and clean while also getting them done relatively quickly. We are also able to charge more for videos since we are able to make them look more professional, thanks to premiere!

I don't like that sometimes it crashes and I can not find what I did. It can be very frustrating because all your work can be gone in seconds.

I have been solving the problem of needing video material for reports and advertisement, i have realized that it is a very versatile and complete tool, for everything you need for when it comes to video.

What I like best about Premiere Pro is the connectivity it allows using dynamic link with other Adobe software like AfterEffects. This is extremely convenient for projects that require both programs.

One thing I dislike is the color match feature released in the latest update. It's a great idea in theory to match color correction across shots but it doesn't work very well.

For me I use Premiere Pro every single day to edit short and long-form videos for my job. It definitely is well-rounded and just works well for my needs. If you compare it to other editing software like Avid, it's far more time efficient. It takes significantly less time when exporting projects.

Premiere is excellent at letting me do what I want with my video and not getting in the way. It has tons of powerful tools, consistent updates from Adobe, and wide adoption in the industry.

Adobe can rush to push out updates too quickly, and new significant releases often have bugs. Because of this, I usually wait for at least the first bugfix/patch before committing to an upgrade since that locks me in to using the newer version with any projects I modify in it.

I use Premiere for virtually all video editing that my team and I perform. We use it for basic cuts and trims to more complex projects with multiple sequences and deliverables.

The best thing I like about Premiere Pro is the interface. So easy to cooperate. I've been using this for so long sometimes I feel like it is still the old software I'm using, but the features are more advanced now. I use a three monitor display panel and I can easily set up my software to work in any way I like. In the later upgrade of Premiere Pro CC, I love the feature of opening several projects at a time. The added feature to be noted is using footages and lineups of one project to another. The overall new color grading system is great though I think some features should be added except that it is the best Software I'm using.

Though it is an all in one solution, working with graphics is a bit harder, harder in sense of low parameter controls. You will have less versatility during changing parameters and positions of any graphical contents. Price of Premiere Pro CC is now monthly based it's okay but while working with Premiere Pro sometimes I have to switch between other Adobe software like Illustrator and After Effects, which all in one is a bit expensive.

Adobe Premiere Pro has been my go-to video editor software for more than 16 years now. I first used it back in college and haven't looked back since, it just has everything I need and more. It's easy to use, well designed, really well built, and works perfectly for all my projects. Any problem that video-editing puts in front of me I can solve it with Premiere's suite of tools. From text animation to transitions, adding music and sound fx, everything gets done super easily and quickly. The way the software takes advantage of my graphics card is just insane! Adobe premiere pro uses very low space when you are doing any project comparing with any different editing software. It is a very smooth software for editing and use very low system requirements.

Adobe premiere pro has very minimum effects, I think that is not good. When you want to create any effect than you have go adobe after effect for creation, I think that is not good. Adobe premiere pro has opted to do that task also.

It has all types of effects, the timeline looks very decent. All the functionalities of the software are very well-built. Their helpline is very good. sometimes the titles and small animations that are imported as MOGRT files do not perform very well. It would be great if more inbuilt options that are actually useful can be incorporated as it will definitely improve the workflow

Premiere has all the features you need to edit video in a very down-to-the-frame precise way, and great organizational and special effects tools as well. It's also fairly intuitive for such a complex program. In addition to standard video editing at which it excels, I find myself using it frequently for slideshows and even very precise screen captures when those are needed. The waveform display is extremely useful for editing lengthy videos with speakers.

The usual Adobe shenanigans are as usual, annoying. First off price, ouch, if you're paying for it yourself. And Adobe Cloud wants you to login constantly if you are using your work account across different machines, and the single sign on process always seems to take forever. There are manufactured compatibility issues between project files created in different versions (there's a freely available 3rd party utility that just changes the number in the program, and viola, magically they're compatible). It's a beefy program that requires a beefy computer, and if you aren't lucky to have one that's up to spec, there will be issues. If your enterprise is still running on Windows 7 like mine is, those cool animated motion graphics are out, for example.

With the advent of the Zoom lifestyle, I frequently need to clean up zoom meetings for posting on youtube. Although you can trim heads and tails in youtube, the process is much less frustrating in premier, and you can easily add title screens, lower thirds, etc. Because a wave form is shown, it is easy to cut out dead air in the middle of the meeting without having to actually listen to the whole thing yourself.

Its easy interface and I love to do the multi camera edit in this software and with its smooth playback working in premier pro becomes more easy than ever.
