Adobe Premiere Pro is a user friendly product for any level of video editor. Whether it's turning a project around for social or independent film in 30 minutes or 4 months, you are able to be efficient for any circumstance. It also allows easy customization for whatever work space you desire. With all the updated features provided by Adobe CC, there's not much this program can do in terms of professional video editing.

There's nothing I can think of that I don't dislike. I've been using the product for 20 years and have found little to no issues and when an update comes out, everything is fixed. If I could have the option to have a physical CD copy of the program instead like in the past instead of only paying monthly, I wouldn't mind being able to have that option. I understand that updates need to occur but also that this program can be crossed used with phones and tablets on the same project timeline with Rush.

I have to turn around completed marketing videos shot in the same day very often and Premiere Pro solves any problem I have very fast as long as I'm on top of what is needed.

Adobe Premiere is a professional-level video editing package that can be used from the simplest to most complex levels. It's easy to learn, especially for those migrating from other platforms like Avid or Final Cut Pro. It's also extremely robust with layers and layers of customization available to those who want more control over their final product. I'm also elated that Adobe has included tools and effects for 360º video production in their recent updates. Our company does quite a bit of 360º video production and the new tools have made life so much simpler.

My primary dislike with Premiere is a small one. It concerns the ability to create custom workspaces. Premiere allows users to arrange the workspace to their personal preferences, but if you move windows around while you're in your custom workspace there is no simple way to return to that default custom setting. Instead, you have to manually move all of the windows back in place. I would love to see a simple "reset workspace" option.

Our company does commercial video production for various clients as well as news packages for our monthly magazine website. We shoot a variety of video resolutions including 4K, 1080P, and 360º video. Premiere handles everything we throw at it with no problems at all. It also allows the integration of some great plug-ins like Knoll Light Factory. Premiere allows our company to deliver any video product requested.

Premiere is perfect for teaching new editors how to edit. It is intuitive, and has multiple ways to accomplish the same task depending on Your preferred style of editing. It is perfectly equipped to handle most jobs from intake, to final product...whether You are titling, color correcting, or simply compressing large files to something more manageable. It's an excellent all around solution for post production video.

Occasionally it has compatibility issues with weird file types from crazy codecs of cheaper cameras. Also, native pro-res support on the PC edition would be nice since most my colleagues are Mov/Mac/Pro-res users.

I teach new editors to do 'factory' editing, and I need it to be as simple to pick up as possible. The learning curve is smaller than most Editing software, so I get them up and running more quickly so I can focus on other things. This is invaluable in helping me manage projects and time for me and my employees.

User friendly and intuitive experience of Adobe premier and all of the extensions that it offers with its different products and other platforms.

Nothing really comes to mind – once you understand how to use Adobe Premiere, the rest is up to your own creativity with the product. I’ve used this program every day and at times have not touched it for months and can always go back to it and use rest assured because the layout and processes are easy to understand. Most instances of dislikes can be changed in preferences so really have no complaints here.

As a photographer/videographer, Adobe Premiere is essential. Producing videos are continuing to be at high demand and Adobe Premiere allows me to meet/exceed expectations very quickly and effectively.

As with Photoshop, Premiere Pro comes jam-packed with a multitude of features. I previously used Sony Vegas, and the difference in tools and UI is very noticeable. Editing with Premiere Pro is very seamless, especially due to the ability to keybind all of your tools, and the function of the software itself is very good on a high end PC. Another great feature on Premiere is the ability to use effects and presets made by other Premiere Pro users by exporting them into your projects. My job as a designer is made much easier when I have the groundwork laid out for a project I'm working on, instead of needing to create a new effect or sequence each time I work on a different project.

Like Photoshop and most of the other Adobe software, the UI packed full of Premiere Pro's multitude of functions is a bit daunting to new users. But, as with the other Adobe programs, other people have made greatly useful guides and tutorials to explain different processes in depth, making it easy to learn the ins and outs of Premiere Pro. I ran into some problems with rendering with my previous graphics card, which is likely a fault with Premiere Pro, although a small one compared to the overall usefulness of this program.

Making videos and other projects for clients is very easier with Premiere Pro, even moreso than Photoshop, due to the availability of presets and user-generated sequences.

You can just go in, edit an in and out point, export and get on with your day BUT if you need to do anything else, Premiere has you covered. Effects are easy to apply as are swapping in and out video and audio tracks. Comes with a decent suite of transitions, audio filters and video effects but nothing super fancy unless you want to check out After Effects!

Audio editing could be a lot easier/better than having to open up Audition.

Social Media posts, crunching videos down. I have a light weight editor but if you want to just take something, cut it and export, the controls for file sizes, quality etc are ideal for quick results.

As social media marketing is part of our core strategy, we released early on that video was an essential part to reach our target audience and we quickly realized that adobe creative suite (which includes adobe premiere) was a perfect fit for us. AP allowed us to quickly combine video shots, add music tracks and transitions in ease. The team then started exploring with created custom transitions and effects, and as started working on both adobe photoshop and adobe after effects, we loved how the all the adobe creative suite applications work beautifully together ( especially premiere and after effects). We could easily work on both applications to produce high quality promotional content and any edits done on one application would be directly applied on the open project in the other app. We produced many promotional videos for YouTube, instagram, Twitter and Facebook. And we’ve created multiple templates that allowed us to produce speed up the work on our intros, outro and the themes for our social media series.

Adobe premiere has a steep learning curve if you are not familiar with video editing software or the interface of the adobe creative suite. It would take a beginner sometime to grasp the basics and there are some other softwares and mobile apps that can do the same basics with less hassle, some are even produced by Adobe such as Adobe premiere rush and the adobe elements suite (also contains adobe photoshop elements)

For me its the customization and the quality I can produce for my videos. And the tutorials are off the chain which is beyond helpful. The best part was when my clients saw the difference in the product. Cause they paid more to keep the standard.

It is not the most user friendly but that comes along with being able to customize everything and having buttons and options. Ive learned to adjust.

Like i said before its the controlled quality of the video. Program I was using before always had a weird tint or film to it. Not if video is shot in 1080 i get 1080 quality.

Helping streamline my video production workflow

Ease of use is a feature I always look for in any software, because with my high paced job I cannot waste time spending hours learning one function that I need to complete my projects. I use Premiere Pro both for personal and professional use because it is simply, to me, the best video software on the market for my purposes. Their Effect control location and functionality is superb, the voice editing is marvelous, the ability to input graphics, images, and text is a breeze. The Auto-Save function has saved my projects more than once.

The Save versus Save-As function gives me a lot of trouble resulting in me saving all my work only for it to disappear, but as I said before the Auto-Save function has helped me retrieve my work. Color editing can be a bit tricky because of the way its formatted but I've managed to learn to work with it over the years.

My team makes not only promotional videos for the events we host at the events, but I also like filming interviews to add a personal touch to them. Inputting sound, and multiple videos and then editing them into one collective video that really shows what we are capable of. Videos get more hits on Facebook, and facebook makes it easy to see how many people have seen your video so it is a way we as a team can know what markets we're hitting with our advertising.

First off, it's an adobe product so I had high hopes going in. Premiere Pro has far surpassed my expectations and is an amazing piece of software for editing anything. I use it in conjunction with After Effects and there is really nothing I can't do with this software.

Can be a bit slow on older computers, but that can be remedied by getting a better computer! The only problems i've had on my machine would be occasional crashing. I was able to get my work back because of the auto-save feature built into the sofware.

It has helped me with video quality and quantity on my youtube channel. I now have a great system in place for putting out content.

The interface of Premiere is very easy to understand and get a hang of. I started using Premiere with no experience at all and within a few weeks I understand most of the functions already. In few months of constant use, I already saw improvement in my editing skills in Premiere.

I don’t like how sometimes it crashes on its own. I used to blame it on my laptop but my laptop is new and can handle Premiere. Turns out, it was the application itself.

When my Premiere Pro kept crashing, I contacted Adobe and they helped me very fast. They fixed my problem as soon as possible.

When i say easy, i don't mean it's easy to edit videos, but compared to it's competitors, Adobe's Premiere Pro is one of the best Editing Software in it's industry. I love that it includes a variety amount of plug-ins and a unique UI to keep your files organized, it also allows you to access it's other software's files and convert them into it's software. (i.e.- Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.)

I do not like the rendering time and support for new technology coming out. As you may know, NVIDIA Releases a line of graphics card every year, and they will not be user friendly with premiere out of the box. You have to wait months before upgrading for proper support from Adobe.

With premiere we are able to neatly organized our video editing files (from videos, to photos, to audio, to external software edit, ect.) and reduce the amount of time spent in pre-production. This allows us to alter the videos we use in such a format that they appear organized and scripted that way.

It integrates with Adobe CC very well. This helps streamline the entire video editing process. When you need to make a graphic for a video or an animation, just hop on into the corresponding Adobe App and create what you need, then jump back into Preimere Pro.

It requires a very large amount of CPU power to run properly on a computer. If you have several apps running in the background, it makes it difficult to edit with the program, as you experience a lot of slowdown.

It is a program that allows us to create professional videos edited in-house, in a quick fashion thanks to its easy to use interface.

I love the fact that I can edit any files I need too. I use this for a lot of YouTube production

I haven’t found anything that I really don’t like about this software. It does everything I need it too and more

I like the wide range of encoders available for Adobe Premiere to be able to deliver video in so many different formats from SD to UHD.

The lack of more user friendly interface options. I really wish that this program had more customization options to better adjust to each user.

Beyond doing a lot of video editing for independent projects I work on myself, when it comes to working in VFX, this is my go to program to convert video files into frame sequences to use in compositing software. A lot of clients don't provide the footage in frames, so having Adobe Premiere to convert the footage in workable frame sequences is a time saver.

What I like best about Adobe Premier is the convenience of it. If you have Adobe CC, obviously this is the editing software you want to use. If you create effects in After effects, it's extremely easy to transfer over. Another thing I like about Adobe Premiere is the ease of use. I learned how to edit on Avid and Final Cut. Avid was difficult to learn, and Final Cut was decent. So, if you've edited on those other softwares you will appreciate how easy it is with premiere. You don't sacrifice any tools while switching over to Adobe Premiere either.

So far, I have not found anything to dislike about Adobe Premier yet. The only thing that does get annoying is the random crashing. It doesn't happen too often, but it still does happen. Other than that little pet peeve, everything else is great!

The business problems I am solving while using Adobe Premiere is editing videos in a quick and timely manner. I often shoot corporate videos with a quick turn around time, the ease of use of Adobe Premiere allows me to do this. I also created animate videos, and implement animations into regular videos. After Effects pairs perfectly with Adobe Premiere Pro. It's so easy to carry over my projects between the 2 apps.
