Compare Agility CMS with other popular tools in the same category.
agility allowed us to manage the web in an organized way, that is the point that I like the most, the different tools and options allow to hierarchize the information and preview the web before launching it.
personally I do not have negative comments about the platform, I like all your options and tools
thanks to agility we can update and visualize the web before launching it. and send it to the clients so that they send us feedback. also, highlight the facility that gives us to prioritize information and organize it
It is a very flexible platform for web developers, I love that you can create any kind of content for your website. It has a really organized dashboard that lets you find anything you put online easily. It is being constantly updated to include new features to improve your experience.
Agility is kind of expensive for most users and if you need changes to the template you have to ask them to make those changes and it comes with an additional cost. It is not as intuitive to use as some of the other CMS out there so you need to really get used to it before using it to its full potential.
I'm managing some of my clients websites and it really helps me because it can transform to fit their very specific needs, you can start by using prebuilt functionalities and customize them later.
Publishing UI is very friendly, easy and efficient , them the Sections Dedicated links for Category Pages, Tags. Finally You can directly edit images and add on the website , with the url or link that give you. The support staff is exceptional and anything our team needs is answered . Powerful platform because its easy to scale the problems and help us the support.
Our We like the ability to upload multiple images but not just to the documents section, if agility permit us to upload image compress in zip its will be more amazing and comfortable. It is sort of after the fact that we realized some files are too large for the general user . Pricing is a bit high. When I upload the average consuming and takes a very long time to appear.
The ability to work with other applications should be easier than it currently is. The part of recovery section that is not interactive site because dont recover all.
I think what I like the most about agility is the fact that you have everything compiled into a single dashboard, and that you have staging links where you can see the changes before you actually make them public, making the approval process easier for every part included.
It has some major delays when you overwrite files that has caused me some trouble, and some of the sections are really hard to update.
I'm managing a full website, storing my files and using them for emailings, among other things. It makes everything really easy because you can schedule publications and stuff.
Customer service SImplicity Very well organised functionalities Categories/Catalogs ON window publishing availability.
NOthing as such. Sometimes I feel it loads slow.
Production Support
Image editing: You can directly edit images and add on the website. Publishing : UI is very user-friendly which makes tasks like Content publishing easy and efficient Sections: Dedicated links for Category Pages, Tags
some files should be restricted to upload if they are too large (or a warning should appear). It is sort of after the fact that we realized some files are too large for the general user to open easily on the site. - Would love the ability to upload multiple images to a section of agility but not just to the documents section. It would be ideal if the zip file could transfer all the files to the actual module in agility.
The ability to work with other applications such as SalesForce and Eloqua within the website environment should be easier than it currently is.
We love how easy it is to use the platform: very user-friendly and straightforward to navigate or make updates to content.
Custom reports do require a bit of work / time to create. Thankfully we have a wonderful account team to assist if an when required.
Management of our national hockey sponsorship program - it allows us to engage with branch managers (end users) across the country in an efficient and effective manner.
Ease of use, modules and various elements are fairly intuitive. Support staff are very eager to help and answer questions.
Editing the code in pages can be cumbersome for users as the entire page content runs along a single line in some instances.
Wanted to move to cloud based platform, and wanted increased access and flexibility for our users. The ability and ease by which we were able to integrate our other platforms also a plus.
- Easy to use and navigate - Intuitive menus and sorting - Quick to draft and publish content
- Hard to customize without dev overhauls - Sometimes features bugs that are hard to troubleshoot/solve
- Publishing frequent blogs post and partnership content
Simple to use interface, great improvement for our current data structure, simple enough we can get a non- technical team to start making changes.
Some struggles with more complicated data objects, had to work around how to implement conditional data.
Our systems use a lot of Data Structures that arnt easy to manage. Some structures require SQL entries and Homemade java apps, but we want to move this over to a none technical team
The Agility CMS has great UX, in that it is very easy to navigate. There is a lot of documentation provided which is always a plus. I like how we can create custom fields for more dynamic content.
I have noticed that when content within a list is changed, the order of that list changes and sometimes publishing it doesn't fix the order. There have been times when we have to publish each item in the list individually to get them to appear in the correct order. Would be nice if there was an easy way to always keep the order consistent.
Having an easy-to-use content management system means that once development is complete, any content updates can be easily made by content editors or any non-developer teammates. This means any new content updates can be made by others and not by the development team which has given us more free time. The Agility CMS team is also really great at assisting with any issues that come up during development.
Easy to use, very fast and less complicated.
In my opinion, I don't remember anything I disliked.
It is super fast with lots of features that a user needs whether content publishing, SEO etc.
I love the scheduling and previewing features.
They support legacy features that cause problems for the webmaster on occasion (confusion/bugs).
Agility CMS allows for the webmaster to manage multiple sites, sitemaps, and instances all in one location.
I came into my new position as a Website and Analytics Officer without prior experience using Agility CMS. The learning process was very smooth for me given how easy and straight-forward the platform is. I love the ability to preview pages before publishing them and being able to share these drafts with stakeholders without affecting the content that is currently live on the website. I appreciate being able to see who in my team has made changes because it facilitates team work.
I dislike the bugs of constantly having to publish every single item so a change is seen on the website. I also dislike being asked if I want to save any changes when I haven't made a single change to a module. I also wish I had the ability to preview previous versions of a page instead of just being able to see what modules it contained.
It's helping me collaborate better with my team. I love the fact that changes can be seen live right away. It also helps with proof-reading content when you don't have to publish a page to see what it will look like.
Agility offers us a great amount of flexibility with how we manage our digital content.
It would be great to have another instance available.
We're replacing a dated, bespoke CMS. With Agility we can take advantage of roles and put proper processes in place.
I like the simplicity. You create an account, connect it to GatsbyJS and it works. Agility CMS + GatjsbyJS + GitHub = ideal workflow
I dislike the pricing. ALmost $500 per month is a lot! I'd like to give an instance per client per project, but the price is just too much for small websites.
Some clients need the ability to customize texts on websites or news, or images - smile CMS. This can be easily solved with Agility CMS
I like that Agility is always ready to help and users can use slack or service desk. I like the UI mostly. I like that everything is configurable and there are so many possibilities to build any kind of structure.
Sometimes there are bugs that are so uncomfortable, but I understand that it's very normal. Every system has bugs)) I had some inconvenience with the new UI, I don't like how I can switch the instances. - https://help.agilitycms.com/hc/en-us/requests/58335 Also, maybe I don't know the system very well and that's why I have this thought in my mind, but I'll write anyway: I would prefer to improve user management, roles and permissions. Also, the backup possibility will be a very advanced feature, because clients will always be frightened about it )) I noticed that there is no some "delete" history and I described it in this ticket - https://help.agilitycms.com/hc/en-us/requests/58264 And one more great suggestion will be GEO restrictions -https://help.agilitycms.com/hc/en-us/requests/58158
From time to time I'm learning the system and I discover so many good features. I'm improving my structure and can't wait to have a new project to set up a more easy and better structure for it. For this time it covers 90% of clients' requirements, and I'm very glad about it. I say one more time that I like the way how it is configurable. You can build any kind of structure.
Agility's flexibility makes it easy to integrate into any project.
I think their interface is a little dated and awkward but that's getting better every release.
We use it to give marketers a custom tailored experience to edit our websites.
The best part is the product is a headless content management platform designed to make it fast and easy to build, manage, and maintain the content, wherever it needs to be. Being also a Cloud-based CMS that is Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) in a multi-tenant architecture enables users to create, customize, and manage websites, apps, eCommerce, and ticketing solutions from a central hub to deliver compelling experiences both on the front end and the back. Easy Setup and great content fetch API for headless CMS.
The simplification of uploading files would be ideal - where all files are located in the Media & Documents section rather than uploaded directly to Shared Content modules. It is better to copy/paste handling of content from external programs (cleaning Word document formatting, etc.), similar to handling by WordPress and other simplified CMS would be helpful. They also need to improve on global content such as headers/footers, multi-language implementation, etc., would allow our developers more flexibility and reduce our time coordinating with Agility support and using BOH.
I used Agility CMS for content management. As this is cloud-based so no need to bother about deployment charges and the worries of maintaining servers. It also helps in faster development. The site becomes secured and also has roles-based access. Also, it has SEO features and great forms to get started.
Agility's robustness. Blog and webinars are helpful.
If only the time it takes to preview could be quicker...
Consolidating to one CMS. Eliminates "work-arounds."
The Agility CMS is a simple tool that can be learned quickly. I use it to manage our department's intranet pages. I like the tools and features it offers to quickly build web pages. It also allows you to add headlines and helpful links at the bottom of each page, which are nice tools.
I wish it were easier to link to a bookmark on the same page instead of adding the #bookmark to the end of the URL manually. I don't think this is intuitive and would prefer the "link" button allow the option to link to a bookmark as well as a file.
Using it to get my job done!
How our whole companies websites are in one easy to access place
Some of the txt boxes are hard to post things into at times
Scheduling posts makes it easier to manage time
The ease of use for editors is excellent. New users the platform who've used other tools are often impressed.
The media gallery is quite basic. It does not have revision history or other advanced features.
We have been able to create a website editable by multiple contributors that fits the workflow of our organization.
A well-designed CMS, perfect for localization/multi-language sites and customer services turnaround resolution.
slowness on some areas - saving and publishing product updates.
nothing at this time.
Agility CMS is easy to use. It's not difficult to complete simple tasks like posting a blog or changing the content of a page. Everything is organized and labeled so you can find things quickly and easily. The interface requires for little or no coding knowledge in order to have the website up and running. Also, customer service is usually immediate and much attention to detail is given. Agility allows me to store files and have secure links to them, and redirections to other websites are easily made.
There are limitations to the platform, like anything out there, I find that Agility doesn't allow for the user to have much control over the appearance of the website aside from the initial set-up. There is also a delay when you replace, delete or update files.
Agility has made creating and running my website easier, and I can manage it wherever I go without it being too stressful.
I like it because it has the necessary tools to make the website work, we can handle the content in a relevant and orderly manner. It maintains the ordered dashboard and I can find the information in an easy way. It is quite intuitive if you are a new user and the interface is friendly
I think the price should not be so high, it is not accessible to all users.
I use it to manage the website of the company with my group, I update and upload images to the platform.
We have over 1,200 pages of content and we're constantly producing more. Agility's platform allows us to easily maintain and publish massive amounts of information with ease. The global features and internal search make it possible to manage and update content on the fly.
System behavior is not as stable as I would like. Previewing dynamic content in staging is a pain. Quirkiness in content naming (ie.page names with certain characters just don't publish). User support often slow having to peel back many layers before getting issues resolved
Massive amounts of content that need to be continually maintained and updated regularly by a team of users with light technical backgrounds
Agility is pretty easy to use. You don't need a lot of training to complete simple task like updating a page fo your site or posting a blog, it's interface compiles everything you need to manage your website organized and easy to find. It requires little coding knowledge in order to have the website up and running. It has useful prebuilt tools that you can use and customize to do what you want to do with your content and the schedule function even in the little components is a game changer for me.
Apart from the initial setup, it does not give you much control about the appearance of your web, if you want to make major changes you have to request them to be made causing delays and major fees, sometimes there are components that are hard to update or publish.
Managing my clients website, updating content and using the media and files functionality for mailings and other stuff.
Agility compiles pretty much everything you need to fully manage a website in one place, I love the tools it has already available like tabbed links because it makes creating new pages for my web faster. I also love the files system and the simple way it lets you organize and update documents, pictures, among others. Also the way every section is connected to others is great.
I honestly think the main problem with agility is that is kind of expensive, we tried to get another user to help us manage the website and in the company they told us it was not possible because it was too expensive. Apart from that I think sometimes it is hard to update certain sections.
I'm managing a full website and also using it's links (from the media section) in my mailings, it is so helpful in that regard because I can keep things organized in folders.
Agility compiles all the necessary tools to manage my website easily and in one place. It allows me to create different templates to manage all sections of my website without compromising my creativity and ideas. Also, it allows me to store my files and have secure links to them, and redirections to foreign web pages or other pages of my own site are easily made. Overall, this tool is amazing if you want to build a solid and appealing web page.
There is a delay when replacing files, and sometimes there are difficulties when updating and deleting some of the basic features like tabbed links. In addition there should be an option that allows you to clone a web page several times and not just one at a time.
It has made creating and editing my web page easier, letting me focus on other crucial things on my company. Agility has helped me to better manage my site no matter where I go.
