"Helpful Platform with Universal Capabilities"
What do you like best about BrightTALK?

BrightTALK has a very easy user interface and capabilities that are quickly understood. Their support pages are also very helpful and clear with their directions.

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

The screen sharing rendering can be very blurry at times and we've often had compliants from attendees of being able to see a screen clearly. There doesn't seem to be a simple way to resolve.

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have multiple channels and partners that we need to work with. Everytime I introduced BrightTALK to a new presenter they always comment how the system is easy to use and understand. The channel analytics are always worthwhile and easy to review.

"Its a love hate relationship"
What do you like best about BrightTALK?

Really, the main reason why anyone would pick to host their webinars over most other webinar platforms is that BT syndicates content within their network. They also send out newsletters that include your webinars depending on what tags you put on the settings, and they also send out the reminder emails and thank you for attending, and sorry we missed you emails which is nice.

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

They have made strides in the platform, and have move to their new "talks" platform but they are still lacking a few things. I wish they would show the number of attendees. It feels weird as a presenter and moderator to be speaking and not know if anyone is even listening or tuned in.

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

BrightTalk is our main platform for hosting most of our external webinars we do with partners etc. Because they syndicate content, we have seen some new leads come in from their network.

"allow me to create a channel where I can store and save all the information from my webinars"
What do you like best about BrightTALK?

Its interface turns out to be its main attraction and point in its favor, the fact that it can easily without any problems to create, view or save the webinars that we carry out in our company in a much easier and simpler way, the fact that it allows me to create a channel where I can store and save all the information of my webinars made for me constitutes a powerful tool, since it allows me to have greater control and order of the webinars made by me, the quality of the audio and video They are quite good, which is of great help when showing quality information to my followers, their customer service team is quite practical and receptive when attending one with any inconvenience that may arise.

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

It has some small errors but these do not affect the performance or functionality of this application.

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has been very useful for me to create a channel where I can make my webinars and that they are available at any time for my subscribers, basically it helped me create a kind of YouTube channel but let's say more exclusive, since they can only enter the people who have access to the content that I publish, in general terms, I have been quite pleased that the application seems phenomenal to me and the fact that I can have more control and easier access to the content that I publish seems extremely Useful.

"Good tool that has the potential to be great"
What do you like best about BrightTALK?

I like the ease of being able to distribute our on demand video content. The ability to answer questions during the webinar, and engagement data that gets passed into our marketing automation has also been helpful in being able to better segment the leads we've generated through the platform.

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

The fact that our prospects would need to sign up for a BrightTALK account to watch our webinars on the platform if we were to use it as our primary webinar library. There's also some room for improvement with the Marketo integration, which is a bit more complex than configuring a GoToWebinar or WebEx account.

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've been able to easily distribute our content to an audience that wants to consume information in the form of videos, and generate engaged, net new leads that are fed directly into our database for immediate follow up from our sales reps.

"their customer service team is quite efficient when it comes to solving doubts"
What do you like best about BrightTALK?

Its ease of use is extremely useful, in fact thanks to this I have been able to improve the quality of my videos and subscribers to my channel all in a fairly simple, easy and fast way, the interface provides a quite pleasant experience, without any need by making greater efforts, it is capable of doing everything we want in a fairly agile and uncomplicated way, its customer service team is quite receptive and efficient when it comes to solving existing doubts or concerns. Personally, it has helped us to improve the quality of our webinars and to keep everything in a much more efficient order than we were always managing (which was practically non-existent), I really think it is a good tool that meets what promises.

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

I consider that it needs to improve some things, such as its connection stability, its flexibility in terms of use and achieving greater integrations with other applications in order to get more out of this application.

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

Above all to maintain a better order of my webinars, since this tool has allowed me to create the equivalent of a YouTube channel where I can upload all the material that I have available so that my clients and followers can access at any time to see the material that provokes them in a simple, easy and fast way.

"Webinar platform and lead generation with some minor logistic hurdles"
What do you like best about BrightTALK?

The experience during a webinar is smooth. Having the ability for multiple presenters to control a slide show presentation equally is beneficial in that the moderator doesn't have to worry about switching controls midway through.

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

You have to pre-set an exact time that you expect the webinar to run, so it's better to estimate too long than too short. For example, if you're creating a webinar and you set the run time as 45 minutes, the platform will end the presentation at exactly the 45 minute mark, regardless of if you're actually complete or not. It's better to estimate for too long of a time window and just end the presentation manually when you're complete. Additionally, you can only dial in a maximum of 15 minutes prior to a webinar, no sooner.

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

BrightTALK currently serves as our webinar platform as well as a lead generation channel. In the past, we've participated in BrightTALK summit webinars which have brought a good number of net new leads into our database. It depends on what you're willing to pay and how targeted you want to get in lead generation, but there are a few different options for the lead generation route.

What do you like best about BrightTALK?

The ability to answer questions during the webinar. I like the ease of being able to distribute our on demand video content.

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

There's also some room for improvement with the Marketo integration - it is a bit more complex than configuring a WebEx account.

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were trying to drive qualified leads to our webinar program, but that unfortunately didn't work out.

"Poor Virtual Events Solution / Lots of Spam Emails"
What do you like best about BrightTALK?

The professional services was OK - the fulfilled their contractual obligations. They also helped onboad speakers

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

-Hubspot integration isn't great (not all data would properly sync - we're probably missing 10% of our attendees.) If you're looking for a real HubSpot integration, BrightTalk isn't the tool -Soooo many steps to register for an event. Create a brightalk account, click register for each session, etc. This process really hurt our registration numbers -Spam emails everywhere! Both attendees (and myself, the end user) have gotten so many spam emails since participating. Some days there are multiple emails from Brightalk suggesting totally unrelated content. Despite unsubscribing many times, they seem to have multiple email lists (Monday@brightalk.live, Wednesday@brightalk.live, etc.) -Engagement functionality is really lacking. Basic functions like in session chat are unavailable

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

Virtual event - not many benefits realized

"BrightTalk Channels is great...if you don't care about security"
What do you like best about BrightTALK?

I love that there is an easy way to get your content to those that might not be within your existing network.

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

I work in cybersecurity, and the security and APIs/connections with our other products (Marketo, Netsuite, Salesforce) is suspect. Our internal security team would not allow the connection.

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting to net new contacts, expanding out target areas.

"Disappointing"
What do you like best about BrightTALK?

My CSMs were good and worked hard for us until they left. The platform is usable (not saying much).

What do you dislike about BrightTALK?

I've been running our campaign with BrightTalk for a year and am honestly pretty disappointed—specifically in the lead quality. Low bounce rate on the emails, but the phone numbers haven't been quality. When a user clicks a webinar, they are automatically subscribed to your channel and sent to your CRM, even if they misclicked. This is a problem in regard to intent and results in a number of leads who have no idea why you're reaching out. The cost over all is quite high for the lead quality. Just hasn't been a good experience for us.

What problems is BrightTALK solving and how is that benefiting you?

Supposed to help us generate high-intent leads who are in a buying cycle for software like ours. Just wasn't the case for most.
