I like that they get a big crowd of people to register to our webinars and a lot of people show
There's always room for more registrants/attendees.
solving lack of registrants to webinars and the benefit is that we have more qualified leads to reach out to
BrightTalk Channels proved information that inspires organizational and operational growth and development through the provision of insights and information.
I have nothing negative to say about this product or it’s delivery method, though I would love to see a standalone mobile app like common technical L&D ones such as Udemy.
BrightTalk content helps with all facets of my organization. From executive leadership methods and practices, to internal technical process and external salesforce optimization, the information and insights are priceless.
Brighttalk has been very useful in terms of promoting our webinars. We can create seperate channels and can run our webinars in a great manner.
There is nothing big to dislike about this tool. It's been very impressive when we have integrated it with Hubspot as well as Eloqua.
The integration with our marketing automation tool is been very effective, we have been able to use the channel subscribers and webinar registrations for our promotions directly in our promotions.
BrightTALK does a nice job of building channel subscribers and helping build attendance for your webinars and online presentations. This makes registrations and people actually showing up to your presentations much easier than other platforms I've used.
The UX and general layout of the platform is not as feature rich or user friendly as some other webinar platforms.
BrightTALK helps get repeat visitors to webinar events and makes the inviting process much easier than other platforms.
Variety of topics and opportunities to listen to perspectives from industry experts, Unbiased review of technology solutions and real life experiences. Original content and diverse creators bring interesting delivery to the channel
The streamyard is sometimes hard to use as the experience is different from other video platforms. Transcripts for the videos will help.
Bringing awareness in using BI tools to advance business outcomes, transformation and modernization. Collective viewpoint from various industries to address broad audience needs.
We can control the titles, industries, and countries that we sell into for the content leads. But we also get some great organic leads as well.
I don't dislike anything. Would love to see an easier integration with Hubspot and SFDC
We were using YouTube, but no way to get demand gen from it. BrightTALK gives us a way to do that. Most of our content is not specific to our company or product, so BrightTALK provides a way to get cloud security insights to viewers
The ease to get leads is very impressive
It's not possible to create your own campaigns. That's flexibility that could be added
It's a tool to get leads in your own database very easily with the Marketo integration
I was introduced to BrightTALK just over a year ago, and as a leader of many webinar events, it's been an exceptional experience. The platform is really easy to use, with more features and tools added regularly. What really sets BrightTALK a part from the rest is their excellent service and support. I always know a professional will help me to get my job done more easily. That is an invaluable in today's day and times.
I think the fact that users must be members to see content can be problematic. Sometimes I want content gated and sometimes I dont. What would be nice if there was a "preview" feature for non-users to get a glimpse of our content. That could possibly motivate them to sign up and see more.
It's really important to rely on one platform/service that everyone in your company/team can feel comfortable using. BrighTALK has been that platform. When there are backend issues with leads or metrics, my colleagues can easily reachout to their team to figure out solutions to challenges. BrightTALK is also adding lots of new features that makes managing and hosting a webinar much friendlier and more fun for everyone participating. The service and support are definitely one of the marquee benefits of the service.
We use BrightTALK weekly to run webinars and live talks. It's the heart of our 'Always-on marketing machine'. For our needs, this is the best platform for delivering a seamless experience to our existing audiences and acquiring new ones. When using BrightTALK's Lead campaigns we can leverage the full potential of the platform in finding new subscribers to our channel and keep on delivering quality content.
I'd like to have more cloning possibilities, ie Attachments. Now we need to re-type these every time when setting up a new Talk.
Find new audiences and offer them content they like to see.
The platform is very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
I don't think there's really anything that I would say I dislike!
It's a great place to extend the life of content.
I've presented on the BrightTALK platform for many years. The audience reach is excellent and their summits provide a good focus for particular subjects. Their support service is also very helpful.
There isn't much to dislike. Since they updated their platform, it has resolved some of the usability issues I had in the past.
BrightTALK provides me with a personalised channel to promote my webinars. The analysis of attendees and feedback is also very valuable.
Our marketing team has used BrightTalk as a central part of our inbound and nurturing strategy for 2 years. BrightTalk's interface has been dead simple for our subject matter experts to use, and their team has consistently added new features and capabilities. When we've needed support, their team has also responded rapidly. The difference between BrightTalk and other webinar platforms is that BrightTalk has worked to build a community around the people who present on its platforms. They want to be the "YouTube of webinars," so they offer recommendation tools designed to bring in newcomers interested in your topic.
The audience-facing interface is kind of ugly. Ditto for their automated email reminders. (Though you do have the ability of turning those off and sending your own messages.) While we like the recommendation tools, it does bring a lot of randos into our registration lists. If you're using BrightTalk as a lead generation tool, that's not great. BrightTalk does offer vetting / segmentation tools, but those are another (expensive, I'd argue) upcharge.
In 2020, our live events completely evaporated. BrightTalk's webinars gave us a new (and less expensive) way to engage with our audience. We especially like their on-camera Talks; we use them to host a monthly Q&A with our CEO, which has helped us stay on prospects' minds.
It's easy to run a webinar through BrightTalk. FIles with contact details for follow-up are detailed. Customer service is also helpful.
It's all pretty good. One request would be to have 1 combined master file with the leads. Some clients don't quite know what to do with the 3-5 different files.
We offer value to our audience and help sponsors get their message out to a wide pool. People also like the on-demand feature. Main benefits are keeping our clients happy, and driving traffic to our website.
Latest technology and trends webinars which are quite informative
Every time you have register again. It should accept the entry by given email
It gives me insight into the new trends which in turn helps me take informed decision
The amount of educational videos and information is astounding and it has benefited my employees in so many ways. The pc management presentation was eye opening and I am looking forward to discovering more.
As of now, nothing! There is so much information from the elite of the industry, how could I complain.
Finding new and creative ways for my employees to learn new skills and ways for them to improve their day to day tasks.
It has a lot of good content and videos available for all kind of positions and software needs in a company.
The built of the website, it could look better and the attachments could be more readily available. The titles of the videos could also be more descriptive.
Provides content for employees and better understanding of recent products and developments in the industry. Also helping students meet the experts in certain topics of their interest and in their own time.
Previously, we used Go To Webinar for external facing webinars. The reason why we moved to BrightTalk is because it provides in addition to webcasting, access to 1m+ users. Our channel and videos are promoted to other community member that have an interest in our industry/topics/ products.
BrightTalk comes with a series of pre-built email that will be automatically triggered off for all event invitations/reminders/follow-ups (very practical). The drawback is that those are BrightTalk branded. If you want to copy and rebrand those emails with your own look and feel, you need to build them from scratch and any changes BrightTalk will make to dynamic tags (existing or new ones such) will need to be manually changed by the admin (you).
Ease of use in promoting cross channel our webinar and a deeper access to a targeted audience.
What I like the most about BrightTalk is the ease of use within the platform and its reporting capabilities. The BrightTalk team has also been pretty helpful when it comes to uploading content onto our channels as well as meeting with the team to provide insights and support.
What I disliked was the process of pulling leads. This however has been integrated with Integrate and has been such a huge improvement.
BrightTalk is housing a lot of our webinars for further on-demand syndication
Great tool to recycle our visual content and expose it to a researching-stage audience.
No integration with our marketing tool: Act-on and the quality of incoming organic leads are is not the best.
Additional lead income although their quality is not the best
Very good customer service- they're always available to help with questions or recommend programs moving forward.
The platform is a little clunky and takes some time to get used to. A lot of functionality or product improvements come at an additional cost.
We use this to get additional leads by syndicating webinar content.
It is easy to reuse content that has already been created to maximize its potential. It is also very easy to connect to Marketo programs. We have seen a huge increase in organic traffic to our webinars.
The live webinar features are not as user-friendly as other webinar tools like Zoom. The poll function has an odd delay and you can't see the number of attendees or who is attending.
We wanted to get our webinars more attention. So far we have seen decent organic traffic, but not as many live viewers as we are used to. We also wanted to get in front of the right communities.
BrightTALK is incredibly easy to use. It is simple to set up new webinars, add on-demand content and add to campaigns. Super user-friendly and saves our team a ton of time.
We used the BrightTALK/SFDC connecter when setting this tool up. That connector led to some challenges with reporting as BrightTALK comes with a ton of new fields and nuances.
In the past, we didn't see a ton of interaction with our webinars. BrightTALK has allowed us to get our content in front of the people who care about our industry.
We have been using this for over a year now - love how easy it is to use (especially with the new UI). My customer success team (EMILY!) has been amazing. Always quick to respond and great tips for an even better ROI. Highly recommend giving this a go if your company is looking to start diving into the webinar world.
No big dislikes, I think the integration with Salesforce needs to be updated, but it is fine as is.
Getting our product in front of a new audience AND nurturing returning leads with new content.
Webinars are promoted to a larger audience through the BrightTalk community.
The lead form is very long and may hurt conversion rates.
BrightTalk allows us to easily host webinars with lots of built-in capabilities (registration and follow-up emails, sync to Hubspot, lead forms)
I like how easy it is to set up a webinar, have the registrations managed by the platform and the FU as well. The team's customer support is above anything else I've ever received from a marketing tool, they are very responsive and do a great job in supporting the implementation process.
The webinar platform itself needs some improvements like the ability to play a video and talk simultaneously while its running or the ability to see the speaker while the presentation in deiaplayed.
We wanted to get our content available to more crowds and to streamline the webinar process from registration to FU.
It helps me to reach out to my potential business clients with the best possible new ways. The interactive vides and meet ups helps me to connect with the potential leads in the best way possible
Brighttalk should continue to add some more new strategies to connect with the clients
I am able to connect to my potential leads Best interactive communication model
BrightTalk is a reliable, stable and easy to use platform. Customer support is good and they take on board feedback and new ideas. Greta integration with marketing automation technologies.
Would like a face time feature to flip between camera and slides/screen
Reduces the need for us to travel to present to clients and enables us to hold interactive sales, training and educational sessions, beyond the webcasting
Beyond their webinar platform and community, BrightTALK also offers creative services around video production. We contracted them to produce various company videos for us. This included having a crew come onsite to direct and film interviews with our employees. The final result was well-polished video content that we could use for marketing purposes.
The final product turned out great. The team we worked with was very efficient and great with communication. No major dislikes.
We were unable to produce our own video content and BrightTalk assisted us in better utilizing this channel.
I like that there's a community aspect baked into the platform. You can figure out what category your content fits into, tag your webinars accordingly, and have your on-demand recordings hosted in those channels for people to find.
I dislike having to dial in, on my phone, for every webinar. There's no way around this and it's a huge headache, especially for international speakers participating in webinars.
It's acts as a decent demand gen. tool and place to host content. Primary benefit is that it has helped us get our pre-existing leads to an MQL status, but it doesn't generate a substantial number of NNLs.
Ease of use. You can host engaging webinars with only a telephone line and a computer, and BrightTALK do the rest. They supply their own marketing, giving you the freedom to perfect your presentation and consequently engage with a potentially untapped audience.
Fees for multiple edits after webinars are expensive. Audio quality is only as good as the phone line. Not convinced of the effectiveness of BrightTALK's own promotion of individual webinars.
Engaging our clients with timely, live material that allows them to connect directly with our brand heroes and ambassadors.
