Easy to use interface allows for quick and easy development of our platform. Plus the added ability to add personalized coding. The chat support is always happy to help and provide the answers required. Ongoing development opportunities are available.
Would love to be able to create a 'dashboard' that was able to be downloaded as a PDF report, rather than each Datapage separately. The limitation on the PDF formatting ability has a slight effect on how we present and display our data for our users. Also, when styling, happy to use custom CSS coding, just can't find the item to amend when it is not an obvious component, takes some trial and error.
We are able to save costs from using numerous third-party providers by collating it all and hosting all through Caspio.
Creating tables with versatile data types. Possibility for quick datapages. I like everything abt caspio. Although I didn't get time to do much but it's amazing
I want to know how to raise a ticket. Also I will have to be highly xpert in using caspio to be able to judge it's down sides. My experience until now is amazing
We have developed many databases Our data is now we'll organized. We are confident in submitting data to ministry bcz we have organized our data more accurately with caspio. We are able to centralize systems for data collection & management. All our process which were manual & prone to errors & less productivity have now been converted through caspio to Systems that are significantly automated.
For years, I was looking for a modernized, tricked out version of Microsoft Access and now have found it with Caspio. It is based on an Access-like table framework. Love the low-code, no-code features, love the YouTube library and live sessions with Ned, love the templates, love the fact that we're not limited to a number of lines (like Kintone), and love that we can make the app and its dashboards look beautiful and pleasing to the eye. I love that my Managers, as they become more familiar with the tool, will be able to change wording without a developer. Love the speed with which we can create apps and the speed with which we can make changes. After literally years of trying different platforms to customize grants monitoring software to each client, we found Caspio and so far are very happy.
It is a bit more complicated than I anticipated, but that level of complexity provides us more features and opportunities for customization. So we can live with the complexity. We still use Caspio developers, but the cost overall is much less than developing coding from scratch.
We have automated our grants monitoring processes to a greater idea as well as adopted Caspio for HR, marketing, and knowledge base apps. Benefits are far greater visibility on the status of monitoring reviews and statistics regarding individual Monitor performance, time spent, number of reviews outstanding. Dashboards to analyze findings are immensely helpful
There are many training materials in both print and video formats that make learning the system very comprehensive.
There are limitations to the system when comparing it to Access Database on the Custamozation of Forms and Reports level and converting them to PDF.
I have created a very robust database solution for three of our company's silos that we work in daily, with an average of 15 employees in the systems at any given time.
Very quick to setup once you know the fundamentals.
"SELECT" statements can't be used in many places.
Database shared with supervisors and managers to deal with HR, OHS and performance data. Quick implementation and fast results!
Simple and intuitive to get started creating applications Advanced features allow you to create some complex workflows Unlike proprietary off-the-shelf software (eg Salesforce usig APEX) Caspio uses commonly use languages such as HTML, CSS, SQL and JScript Great online tutorials on YouTube (although some are dated) All in one platform brings everything together (development, hosting etc) Our client data is now completely centralised, Caspio has eliminated many of the home-grown systems (spreadsheets etc) Positive feedback and satisfaction from end users
SMS is only supported in the US (we are based in EU) Would like to see better change controls and tracking during app modification.(e.g Change Logs) When creating multiple applications I would like to see some Global Parameters When sharing tables with other applications, the table relationship screen can become messy and dificult to manage While you can create Apps with no code, a little knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL and JScript is a distict advantage
We were able to create applications that meet our business specific requirements We had previously used Saleforce an off the shelf CRM which was difficult to shape to our requirements and expensive not inuative for a developer. We now have a unified workforce and have broken down silos, it has changed the company culture for the best End users dont have to be tech savvy to use the applications built on Caspio
Straightforward to implement without needing an entire coding team. Sometimes in the documentation, it can be challenging to decipher how something works, but the forums have been great for finding ideas and solutions. The support team has been responsive and helpful whenever needed.
If you are used to coding, the no code solutions can sometimes be cumbersome to figure out. There are definitely times where I wish I could just write the SQL query or other code instead of using the GUI.
We use Caspio to automate Excel sheets that were passed around internally and also externally. It was straightforward to implement on our own, and we have continued to add more complex features as needed, like email alerts, sharing documents, logging changes, and passing updates back to our ERP
The support is amazing and probably the best yet by any company
I cannot think of anything I dislike about Caspio
we are setting up a company to put payroll data on so that the employees can access their own data, so far it is going very well
Easy to copy from Excel to Caspio DB then set up search forms for all the data entered.
If you go over a set limit you must upgrade to a paid version.
We have over 3500 members. Each members Radio ID changes every year (to reflect seniority) So, the searchable database is imperative on January 1st of each year.
It was fairly easy to get started on a basic database with simple search functions, but it also offers far more customizable options if you're willing to wade into those waters.
Once you move beyond the most basic set up, I found the learning curve got much steeper. If I wasn't working from someone else's template, I had a hard time implementing more advanced functions (such as those using parameters and creating linked apps). It involved a lot of trial and error.
It is fantastic for us to be able to embed access to a fully functioning database on our website with out having a database administrator or other programmer around. We can just throw an Excel spreadsheet into Caspio and literally minutes later have something we know will work and that can be painlessly updated.
