I like that it has essential features that you need to communicate amongst a team of people. For example, the ability to manage discussions or upload files into one central place.
It doesn't get a lot of attention in the market like it use to and I'm not sure a lot people are aware of this software. It seems other companies have come in and surpassed this company.
Freedcamp helps me to keep things organized in one place when working with others. It's an easy to navigate system that doesn't feel overwhelming. Plus it's easy for others, who may have never used the platform, to understand.
I love the interface and how easy and clean it looks to drag and drop tasks to different projects and add other projects to the calendar. It would be great if they added some additional features.
I wish the color-coding were a little better. Sometimes it's confusing to know which project I am on, and then I add things to the wrong project. I wish it were easier to see all the different things on the main calendar.
We needed a more visual approach to our content calendar. It's allowed us to see all of the different marketing initiatives in one place. I needed to one shot look and see our activities.
Allows for easy tracking of tasks and events for my projects. Even the free tier has a large variety of helpful features. Compared to other vendors, Freedcamp offers more features on their free tier than most.
Some features that were enabled during the free premium trial period were disabled once it ended. This wouldn't allow me to alter certain aspects of pre determined tasks.
Freedcamp allows me to present milestones and task completion in a variety of ways to show progress.
I like how you can view all the tasks at once and claim them so the entire team knows who is working on what.
There was nothing that stood out to me that I didn't like. Sometimes the website would run a little slow, but that's it.
Some problems that we solved include team management, completing tasks on time, and communication. Some benefits we have realized are the ease of use and the efficacy.
After trying a variety of online project managment tools I found Freedcamp to be the best at having a complete toolkit of features. This includes lots of options for subtasks, Gantt charts, cloud connections and shifting dates.
Not as visually appealing as some of the other options and it isn't as easy to "dumb it down" for staff who need basic functionality. The mobile apps are a bit cumbersome and features which are familiar from the web are missing or run differently in the apps.
Freedcamp is best as a tool for the high level manager who needs to look at tasks for multiple projects simultaeously. It is my main dashboard for the day and helps me keep track of the full range of work in a research lab setting.
it's the cheapest solution for team or individuals. I use it only for myself, and still it's the best. I like to organize my projects. I would like an expand / collapse option for sub-tasks. It would become in handy, as I have many sub-tasks and it's hard to follow them. And comments I used to different options for a issue / task.
On mobile phone, the app is not so advanced. Also need more tags to see more clearly a projects. I suggested already the idea of collored custom tags. Also I feel like a lot of things are missing in the drag and drop pannel. Also on mobile phone, it's fustrated that I can not order tasks. Tracking time doesn't have a sum up for today or week. Also no report graph, or export report time data. Drop box or Google drive are useless, as they are open in a new tab window, and they have some download issues on some windows machine (win 8 or win 10). A google keep integration might be usefull, but I can not use tasky at all, as I can not find in on mobile app. Also it would be a nice automation if you could next time use a mail review, for your surveys. With a gmail integration, you could make reviews, directly from aproved emails.
As I already said above, I use it for organize my projects, and also for the archive benefit. A freedcamp integration with slack it would be nice for work management, without zappier / included in current plan.
This can be used for small group or personal use.
Several features that are available in other tools are missed.
I'm using Freedcamp for my personal planning and scheduling tool. It's good enough for my personal needs.
It's organized, straightforward, easy to use and allow collaborative works
It's sometimes chaotic; it's not possible to define deadline for subtasks; it's not possible to download all the infos (text, attachments) related to a task
Handle big projects and deadlines; I can have things under control
Discussion and unlimited users and file storage in the free version
The user interface in the android mobile app.like to see more feature in paid one like budget management
time management for multi-project easier prioritize task
Tasks management, notifications, gantt, widget
Absence of unique id for tasks, integration with slack
Operations and development management
