GetResponse Pricing

GetResponse offers three main tiers in their pricing; Free, Paid Plans, and MAX² (for large enterprises).

The paid plans are also divided into email marketing, marketing automation, and e-commerce marketing.

Email Marketing Plan

With the email marketing plan, you can build your email list and deliver valuable information to your audience. You’ll be able to create a website with an unlimited number of landing pages to generate signups. You can also segment your subscribers, but only based on the basic information you’ll have collected about them. This plan works best for those who don’t need complex automation, like small businesses, entrepreneurs, bloggers, etc.

Pricing starts from $13.30/month for 1,000 contacts if you choose a 2-year contract and increases to $19/month if you want to pay monthly. The price also increases depending on the number of subscribers you want to accommodate, from 1,000 subscribers to 100,000 subscribers.

GetResponse Pricing

Marketing Automation Plan

If you want to include more advanced automation settings and segmentation, then this is the plan for you. It includes all the features in the free plan, and email marketing plan, as well as trigger and event-based sequences to collect more data on your audience. You’ll be able to create automated email chains so customers can receive personalized emails based on their behavior and preferences.

Additionally, you’ll get access to the webinar builder so this plan is typically great for B2B and tech companies that want to nurture their leads.

Pricing starts at $41.30/month for 1,000 contacts (2-year contract) and up to $59/month for 1,000 subscribers for a monthly contract.

E-commerce Marketing Plan

This plan includes everything from the two previous plans and includes web push notifications, abandoned cart recovery, product recommendations, transactional emails, and promo codes. Of course, this plan is beneficial if you want to increase sales for your online store.

The pricing starts at $83.30/month for 1,000 subscribers (2-year contract) and goes up to $119/ month for 1,000 subscribers if you’re paying monthly. It can get quite pricy if you climb up to 100,000 subscribers, as you’ll be paying $700/month.

GetResponse Pros & Cons

Pros

  • The free plan includes valuable marketing features.
  • GetResponse is feature-rich while being easy to use.
  • This a great option if you have an e-commerce business.
  • GetResponse integrates with over 120 tools. You can also use GetResponse’s advanced API to build your integration.
  • Choose from over 2,000,000 Shutterstock images and GIFs from GIPHY to add an attractive and professional touch to your emails. No extra purchases are necessary.
  • Caters to various devices so you can design and preview well-formatted emails that look good on any device (desktop, tablet, or mobile).
  • You get digital marketing reports to track your marketing campaign’s performance.
  • You can create and monitor your paid Google, Facebook, and Instagram ads from your GetResponse account.

  • 30-day free trial available, with no credit card required, for all features.
  • A discounted plan is offered for charities and NGOs (50% off every monthly plan)

Cons

  • Although GetResponse integrates with over 120 tools, it omits some notable project management platforms. Also, integrations with PayPal and Eventbrite can only be done using Zapier.
  • GreatResponse doesn’t automatically create a mobile-friendly version of your landing pages. You need to remember to design the mobile-friendly version separately.
  • Although GetResponse’s mobile app is great at showing you the progress of your campaigns, the drag-and-drop editor is difficult to use and makes it hard to make changes while you’re on the go.

Conclusion

GetResponse is a great and affordable tool to help you upstart your email marketing campaigns. They have other offerings that are all designed to complement core features and boost your presence online, including a selection of builders, for websites, landing pages, and even webinars. GetResponse also has a customer support team that is always available to help users onboard and address any concerns.

However, don’t forget that there are still other email marketing software options available—all with their own set of unique features and tools. Be sure to take a look at our wide range of software categories to find the perfect software that your business needs.

"An outstanding service at a affordable price"
What do you like best about GetResponse?

The fact that it keeps lower price than most competitors make Getresponse and clear winner in almost all aspects. The simplicity in the Visual follow up sequence planning makes scheduling your automated follow-up a breeze. The newly implemented optin form creators have lifted GetResponse to a new level of efficiency. The library of templates for your newsletter will definitely have something in stock for everyone.

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

I can't automatically segment my list into different buckets depending on what links they have clicked. And also the fact that duplicate contacts count towards the monthly limit. Also. It's not fully intuitive when it comes to creating emails from scratch And segmenting when sending a broadcast is a pain. Too many steps to make it.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm able to set up a sales funnel in advance, drive traffic to my lead capture page and have GetResponse follow up and sell to that list of people.

"I do email marketing and it is the best I have found!"
What do you like best about GetResponse?

I have tried 2 other auto-responders and like GetResponse the best. I can schedule deliveries way ahead of time and deliver at the same time zones around the world. It tracks all my stats and I can resend to all the un-opens. I like the form that you can create that I use for my squeeze pages. I can also do split testing to optimize my opt-ins. GetResponse just works the best!

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

One thing I wish it did was let me program to re-send to the un-opens automatically at the time I choose. Currently it is a manual operation but I was told that this is something they are working on as well as other requested functionality.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to pre-program many emails to go out ahead of time at the time that works best for me which frees up the rest of my time for other activities.

What do you like best about GetResponse?

That my landing pages and email server are all in one place for one amazing price!

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

I wish the templates were a little more modern and more options for product based businesses. The templates are too in depth. A few simple email formats with pretty modern text and colors would be great!

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

"Amazing Autoresponder!"
What do you like best about GetResponse?

Not all autoresponders are definitely created equal. And GetResponse stands out exceptionally! It is very easy to use and even if you have problems, the live chat is right there at your service. The customer support and service is very polite and helpful as well. Also support is located directly in Canada and they have a good reputation. There are many other great features as well besides the autoresponder, like capture page builders and other services. A great price for a great service/product!

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

There is not much I dislike about it. All my issues get resolved immediately from the amazing support.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am building a list for my personal home business. It is very easy to schedule and send emails to very specific people, groups and sections of my list.

"Easy to use and effective"
What do you like best about GetResponse?

The thing I really like about GetResponse is how easy it is to use. There is a very large assortment of various template for newsletters and emails. They are very customizable too! You can have no knowledge of HTML and be able to use this product just fine. If you have someone who is familiar with HTML you can just create your own from scratch. I love being able to have 1 source to manage my new contacts and my emails. It is great being able to know when a customer or potential customer has opened an email, what links they clicked on and how many times they opened it. It is awesome!

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

Nothing really. Everything works beautifully.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem we face is getting new information and products in front of our customers on a regular basis. This allows for us to do that. We are able to manage our list, get the information to them, and rate how responsive they are so that we can tweak and adjust future correspondences accordingly.

"GetResponse is my top recommendation for Email Marketing Services"
What do you like best about GetResponse?

The best feature of GetResponse is the way they lay out their autoresponders. The calendar grid format makes it easy to see how your campaigns are structured. If you want to make a change, you can simply drag a message to another day. Such an easy visual representation of your campaigns is something that you generally see in much higher priced solutions, but GetResponse provides it in a very affordable package.

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

There's not much to dislike. However, if I had to choose something, I would say that I don't like the designs of the landing pages they provide. However, I've never used an email marketing service for landing page designs and probably never will unless there are significant improvements.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm able to nurture relationships with my subscribers by sending them high-value content and I'm able to do it at a relatively affordable price.

What do you like best about GetResponse?

It's far more intuitive than rivals like Mailchimp. I find the newsletter and autoresponder editors very easy to use. The support chat window and the representatives are excellent too.

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

Not much to dislIke. Perhaps they could find a way to send a better reminder for people who have single-subscribed, but not clicked the verify link. Maybe that could also be automated if you wanted to switch it on?

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am looking to automate the attraction of clients through an autoresponder series. I have been very successful in a short space of time thanks to content marketing and GetResponse's autoresponder

What do you like best about GetResponse?

Availability of excellent pre-designed templates as well as the ease of designing new templates. Earlier I was stuck with a template I got designed for me. There were restrictions. Now, I can add / delete text boxes / picture blocks anywhere, change colors and fonts.... There is total flexibility.

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

Non-availabilty of removed subscribers data. Whenever, anybody unsubscribes, his/her history can be a valuable input - how long the subscriber was with me, how active he/she was and whether this removal was a loss or cleaning of data!

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

I share my views and knowledge with subscribers through regularly published ezines. It helps me spread the word about me and my organization. Two-way communication results in an increased level of engagement and building of fruitful relationships.

What do you like best about GetResponse?

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

"Fantastic platform for email marketing"
What do you like best about GetResponse?

Over the past 6-7 years I've experimented with most of the major email marketing services (inc. Mailchimp, Aweber, Constant Contact, Sendy, and others) through my consulting work and personal projects at Venture Harbour. GetResponse is by far the tool that I find myself recommending to others the most for a few reasons: - Great pricing (for most list sizes it's the most affordable service) - Beautifully designed templates & everything is mobile / tablet optimised - Their time travel service is fantastic - Great customer service - Good integration with a plethora of tools & WordPress plugins Overall, it does everything that an email marketing service should do without causing too many headaches. If you want to know more, I wrote a more in-depth review here (https://www.ventureharbour.com/getresponse-review/).

What do you dislike about GetResponse?

The user interface could do with a lick of paint and a rethink from a talented user experience expert. I find the labelling of navigation and my ability to find what I'm looking for quite unintuitive. I'd also love to see their automation service developed a bit more. As it stands it's good - but quite limited in terms of what you can automate.

What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having a good email marketing platform is central to many of our projects at Venture Harbour, and GetResponse provides us with the framework to do that in a way that generates great results.

"Super well-informed staff and a ridiculous amount of tools to grow my business."
What do you like best about GetResponse?
