I'm just surprised by how much data we can get through Google Analytics. It only takes a few minutes to install. Even though it can be very complex in terms of the different types of data and implementations that can be done, I think that the dashboard and account tools are laid out very cleanly. So it's easy to navigate and walk through instructions and how to activate and use most of the main features.
Google Analytics is a professional analytics tool that can be too complicated to use when trying to build complex projects. I think that it's not the best tool for basic analytics where you just want to add code and then have everything work right away.
We get most of our user metrics and analytics through the Google Analytics system. We don't have to spend a lot of money on this very thorough application though we can get loads of data that we can use to understand our visitor activity and to change the way our pages are designed to better meet the needs of future visitors.
Google analytics has a dashboard which provides the statics for the website traffic. All the users who come to the website, can be analyzed from the google analytics dashboard.
Google analytics works fine with showing all data as needed. The interface is user friendly and is very easy to navigate.
Google analytics helps with the data review and analysing the traffic for the websites. Based on this we came to know the type of customers who access our website.
All in one tool to understand flow of traffic to a website from various sources. Determine where your best visitors are located. Learn what people are searching for on your site. Visualize what people click on the most.
I guess none. We have been using this tool since a long time but we have not encountered a single issue.
Understanding user behaviour.
It shows you just about everywhere your traffic could be coming from, which is great especially when you don't have pixels set up on your site or any advanced tracking. We're currently working on better tracking, but regardless it's a great snapshot of who's coming, who's staying, and what's being clicked on. We release many documents and knowing what's playing well with our audience is great for our next projects, and what we need to better promote on other channels like newsletters and social media.
It's not that easy to set up tracking or integrate things . . . you need an expert level for a lot of different integrations, and that can be frustrating. But it is easy to learn with their copious documentation, so it's not that big of a pain point.
We really like to know what's playing well on our site. It's a research site, and we like to see where our traffic is coming from, especially as we have many reports and documents for download. Also, it helps us track donations as well, which is important considering we run donation drives at least twice a year.
Accuracy & Data Collection. The most helpful function of Google Analytics is its algorithm of collecting accurate tracking info collected by visitors of your website who visits from different sources such as Social Media, Search Engine, Links etc. It helps you track the visitors very easily and give you info so you can convert them into sales and also know the behavior like how much time they spend on which page. It is so helpful to have data of your website as you can very impressively use to for many tasks, so google analytics is the software who has power to let you collect and analyze!
I do not dislike anything about Google Analytics, as out of many analytical tools such as Bing, Semrush or many third party tool this so far fetched the best tool which gives your powerful tools at no additional hassle. It is very to setup and run.
I used Google Analytics to track users regarding different campaigns we run on social media, then find out if they converted or where the break in behavior acquisition. Also it has been always helpful to install the mobile app of Google Analytics to track daily visitors, real time online statistics and much more.
I am using google analytics for last several years for different websites and I can't think without the help of this tool we can find out whether we are heading in the right direction or not. I like the free information that it provides and the amount of information that it provides. We can see from where and on which pages people are coming on our website and interacting with it. We can even set up important pages as goals and conversions and ensure whether we are heading in the right direction or not

I'm using this to calculate daily revenue that we are getting and I'll be using for tracking all other category projects as well
A lot of things I like of Google Analytics app: - Easy to integrate by placing just few lines of code. - Realtime data - Fast, accurate & precise results - Day, Month, Year, Country, Language, Browser and a lot of other filters - Custom Reports
Honestly, there is nothing so far that I dislike.
I use this app for many purposes. Few are below: - To check daily users & page views for my website. - To check which page is visited most. - To compare results to know whether my pageview increased or not. - To check the countries from where my site gets visited. - To collect various kinds of data that could help me in growing the business.
Tracking data from multiple sources, using events, combining GA and GO
I dislike limited number of views and accounts
Tracking data from multiple sources, using events, combining GA and GO
It is best for tracking real time user data online. Google analytic user interface is very good to use. It is more secure than other analytic tools. We can connect google ads and Google search console directly. Easy way to set custom goal for ecommerce website. We can count user session and no of users visited on website.
Google analytic is more secure and good tool for business website, But it's take time to load in browser and slow down system some time.
Google analytics is a best solution for your business. We used it free of cost and implement on our business website. It is easy to use to track website traffic, Live user data. We can create custom alert and custom reports in Google analytics. It provides audience data and user flow about your customers.
Google Analytics is one and only platform operated by Google which helps you to collect data and mold the information to obtain high Search Engine Ranking mainly in google which is the largest search engine.
Its a bit complicated to train a new person on how to use it professionally.
I have used it to know the potential of my wesbite and get knowledge about my traffic and audience.
Google Analytics is one of the best tool to detect traffic of our webpages. I like the interface of this tool. The graphs, charts and the way it shows all the data. It makes it easy fir us to understand everything & reach up to a conclusion. The audience feature of this tool helps us to know from where we are getting traffic and on which keywords we are getting traffic so well the pages

There many things that I do with help of Google analytics- - My website analysis - blogging analysis - User analysis - Website traffic - issue related my own blog or website.
I like how many attributes you can learn about your customers. From how many days it takes to convert, to locations and languages, to which keywords (organic or paid) played a role in the conversion journey, and for the more sophisticated you can see lifetime value metrics.
I only dislike that you have to configure ecommerce, they should find a way to have that data come through with just the pixel placement of the main tag.
Want to better understand the customer journey. Want to know where our customers come from and what channels lead them to our site at the highest rates.
Google analytics is great analytics tool. This tool helps me to know from where users are coming on our website. It helps us to know which keywords are bringing traffic for our site and which social media platform is driving traffic to our site since we are active on social media. The audience feature gives me detailed insight of traffic and it also show us how people are interacting with our site.
I am big fan of this tool and I have no problem with this tool
This tool is helping us to evaluate the web traffic on our site and help us to find which keywords and posts are performing best. It is a must tool for us and we can't think of surviving online without this tool
The possibilities in Analytics to track everything happening on your website are quite extensive and very detailed
The complexity of the product is sometimes a bit hard to manage as there are so many options on the platform
Google Analytics helps me on a daily basis to track the activity and conversions on my website and my customers' websites every day, helping me to also run more effective ads
They give you all the raw data from the visitors of your website and if you know how to use that data you will be able to make the best decisions to enhance your website and make more conversions. Not having a free tool like this, that also gives you free training to use, is absolutely insane. I love everything about this program.
This is a very very small problem I have with analytics, but one nonetheless. When using some Content Management Systems and templates for them you have to use a third party app to get the analytics code put in the header of your website. Again this isn't a huge deal and it is very easily remedied with a 5 minute internet search. I do wish that google would develop a tool that does this because they will always keep it updated unlike some of the plugin developers that are out there.
I am able to give my clients detailed information about what pages, designs, images, and other specifics that are working and drawing their customers to their sites. We can use data to specifically target a niche part of their customers with advertisements or marketing that will bring them back and make more conversions on the site. You can even use the raw date to create tools that your clients will need. If a lot of your users are using a certain platform you know to optimize your site for that browser or operating system.
There are so many important parts of my business when it comes to data that are covered by Google Analytics Mobile performance, traffic acquisition, content efficient, keyword analysis, new versus old visitors, landing pages, bounce rates, you name it! Google Analytics is the kingpin of tracking data! No other platform out there will give you a full spectrum of everything you want to know.
If you want the full experience of Google Analytics you can upgrade to Google Analytics 360. The pricing is very expensive at a giant licensing lump sum of $150,000. For myself, this cost doesn't make sense for my business and is crazily expensive. Google Analytics does an incredible job of providing you data of the consumer's start of their experience and end of their experience. The mid-way interactions the consumer has... are somewhat vague. You can understand which campaigns are most successful or how much traffic you have but understanding the reasoning behind why your traffic does what it does is vague. For example, say your upsell has a really high bounce rate. We can't figure out the problem using Google Analytics. Was our responsive design just not appealing or was it our call-to-action? Was there a broken link or where they upset about the upsell? These things you cannot learn from Google Analytics and one of its downfalls.
Collecting data. Google Analytics is a gold mine of data analytics. From exporting data, creating custom reports, integrating with other tools, showing real-time traffic data, understand where your traffic came from, ranking your pages by popularity, and track campaigns. Google Analytics does it all!
While there is a learning curve to Analytics, there's a reason it's the industry standard. The information you can gather can be either very simple or robust depending on which reports you look at and how well you set things up (conversion tracking, proper configuration, filters etc). I like that I can pull basic high-level reports or dive deep for problem solving or additional data as needed.
As mentioned before, there is a learning curve. Google makes it easy with the Analytics IQ for learning purposes, but it does require an understanding of data and which metrics matter in which circumstances. It is also difficult to integrate data with other platforms, so the numbers you see in Facebook ad manager, or even Google Adwords can often be very different than what Analytics reports. It is a frustration that Google's products take some work to integrate with one another, as they are the same company so integration should be easier. Still, those drawbacks don't make it worthwhile to switch to another platform/tool — Analytics is simply the best.
I have been able to streamline my reporting, and provide useful, actionable data to the departments that are involved in the website process. I have also been able to add value to my own role, by proving the impact and ROI of the marketing efforts I undertake. Analytics helps me monitor the performance of the accounts I manage, and cut off problems before they turn into major issues for the companies we advertise for.
