Simple, useful, effective and has browser extension.
Had no plagiarism checker when I acquired but was on roadmap.
No more grammar or spelling mistakes, helps me write better.
Snippets feature saves me a lot of time. Templates feature helps me avoid writers block when I am writing business emails. Grammarly like features with a twist. They even have a Facebook Community so you have direct access to Founder to interact, give feedback on active roadmap and access to rich community. I love their handy synonym suggestion feature which allows looking for synonyms everywhere on web with double click. Linguix is also not blocked by most corporate companies unlike Grammarly which is blocked by most as they handle your data with more scrutiny and security. They even have Secret Mode on Web with 0 logging policy. Recently they have launched on Android as well which I just started using so hard to comment yet.
Linguix some times doesn't recognize grammar issue sand even simple typos but I can say it is constantly improving, so I am hoping to see it get better with time, and I am happy to wait with all its other cool whistles and bells features which are not available in Grammarly. No native integration to MS word which is much-needed as I still use it heavily.
Build custom snippets of canned messages and templates to use it everywhere on the web with a quick shortcut. Regular Grammarly like functions to improve my communications anywhere on web which a text box is taking input including this review.
I'm a premium Linguix account user. I have have tried several assistants and find the Linguix makes the most useful and accurate representations. More than 9/10 times the recommendation made is bang on and I quickly click without having to question the recommendation much. I also like secret mode even though I don't use it much and it's quick and easy to update the dictionary. Also like the snippets feature - I don't think any of the other assistants have that built in.
Designed for the web. Wish it worked in apps and other app dialogue boxes.
I'm trying to make my writing better basically and I am achieving that. Also to make writing more efficient and faster and snippets help do that very nicely.
Linguix has a modern interface that is clean and easy to navigate. I can get started in less than a minute. I like the fact that it checks out my spelling/grammar error instantly while I'm typing. It has some pretty nifty features such as looking up unknown words in Linguix's database, shortcut key to see more synonyms.
I'm not sure what is there to dislike about it. Perhaps it would be better to have more writing templates.
I'm using it to solve grammar issues. As a non-native English speaker, it is extremely important to use this kind of tool to double check on any potential spelling or grammar error. It helps me out a lot especially when I have to write some short articles myself instead of outsourcing it.
Linguix is such a great tool! I have the chrome addon installed and I can't tell you how many times it is made me look more professional by catching any writing mistakes I have made. In addition the addon is slick. Really low impact, doesn't slow me down and catches stuff all over the place (emails, posts, wordpress, Google docs, etc...) very convenient. In addition when writing full fledged articles, posts, and essays, it is a great aid to making me a better writer. I really appreciate Linguix!
Sometimes when i copy and paste a really long article it takes a while for Linguix to scan all of it.
The business problem I solve is the act of upgrading my professional style. It does this quickly and accurately, saving me time and giving me and my writing confidence.
I like its interface and short learning curve to use the tool, it is very beginner friendly tool, also the Google Chrome extension is very useful to write content.
I did not find anything wrong with this tool but surely it can beat Grammarly in the future.
Previously I was using Grammarly which was not compatible with all other editors, but Linguix helps me to write everywhere from the web to normal WordPress editor or Microsoft Word.
I like the UI and snippets (huge time saver), It is light weight on my chrome as extension and doesn't lag on long long threads or comments.
I wish 3 mouse clicks on the word promote the meaning window instead of two, sometimes I want to copy a word or email and the window pop up. Html based snippet will be superb. Mobile integration or office integration add-on are not yet available.
Spotless grammar, super fast snippets!
Love this tool - The price is right and finds and correct as many errors ggramarly!!
Some times the correction screen will glitch and pop behind other correction tools and you can't see suggestions
Correct ting emails and documents creating a much more professional letter
It provides suggested corrections on spelling, grammar when you are actively typing. I have seen that it is even a bit more active than their leading competitor. I also like that you can still run a competitor's grammar product too just in case there are some things that Linguix misses.
There are still sometimes that the suggestions are incorrect, and yes, sometimes the competitor's product catches some errors.
I want to have the best grammar when I am writing content.
The spelling and grammar check works as intended and seamlessly integrates into Chrome with use of the extension. I particularly like the double click option on a word, which quickly brings up a dictionary for reference.
Everything works as intended and I do not have any complaints, having used the software for a couple of months now.
The dictionary feature saves time over going to a search engine by simply double-clicking on a word to produce a pop up with the definition.
