Easy to use interface. If used smartly, adds a power of automatization to your workflow.
Since it's based on API's it may be hard to use. Also, it oftentimes doesn't have features, that the product's API already supports
Routine task automation. Mainly transferring data from one system, like Freshdesk, into another, like Slack, or Google sheets.
Integromat is the most flexible workflow automation tool we've tried. Once you learn how to use the workflow builder, the tool is nearly limitless in what you can build with it. In addition, the execution logs and error handling give us the confidence we need to build critical integrations in Integromat.
Currently no billing option to automatically top up your credits if you run out. They do send warning emails, but we have been caught flat-footed a couple times, leading to service outages.
We've used Integromat for everything from simple static site generation, to PDF generation, to integrating our CRM with Google Drive and communications systems, to cron jobs that update partner systems on a schedule. Because Integromat has robust queuing, error handling, etc. it's dramatically faster to test new integrations in Integromat vs. building from scratch.
It supports integration with so many services, and the variety of what actions to perform is very helpful.
It would be nice if there were a few more types of triggers and search criteria. Currently, I sometimes use it in combination with Zapier.
By eliminating the work that had to be done manually on a regular basis, the actual man-hours and stress have been reduced.
I like Integromat's visually responsive, tree-style interface that lets you know where you are in a workflow and all the data each operation yielded.
A couple of things. 1. You cannot clone scenarios. If you have a scenario that works well, but you need another with a slight variation, you will have to create it again from scratch. 2. At present, you're unable to replay a scenario or operation without having to trigger it again from the start. This can be incredibly annoying if the failed process is the last in a long chain of functions.
Integromat allows us to automate multiple workflows in our business processes and gives us the flexibility to test and create new workflows without interrupting currently deployed systems.
This program helps me to build autonomous processes and, unlike comparable programs, if properly programmed, automation can still remain within the free package, it does not restrict me to restricted capabilities. Your customer service is just incredible, if you get lost. The intuitive user interface adds a lot to automatic situations, and encourages a beginner to do useful automation without code expertise. I see the world and Integromat opened my eyes and facilitated my life.
There is a certain learning curve, which does not clarify all choices well. Automation schedules are not made easy by competing providers, so it is a little difficult to get started. Maybe a more user-friendly handbook for custom https or Oauth2 requests might be given, but it's all that sophisticated that the bulk of non-coding users would find it too difficult to manage even manuals in some modules.
It reducing my workflow from thirty minutes to two minutes, which was wonderful. I solved my post-acquisition workflow. That day, I saw a tremendous opportunity for the job routines of everyday people on this site. Save Google Drive documents from an e-mail, monitor file formation, quick and simple documentation, e-mail transfer text to the channel of Telegram, needless text filter, etc.
The two best features of Integromat are the sheer volume of apps which you can connect together. This has been a game changer for our company, being able to connect all the main apps we use on a day to day basis, which are integral for running the business. The fact we can create an array of automation's has taken so much of the manual process away. I am also a big fan of the variety of automated tasks you can set up between apps. We've been able to run search and remove automation's which in the past we needed a third party to create a work around which we had no control over. Integromat has allowed us to control everything ourselves.
There is one issue that has occurred on a handful of occasions which is when an automation runs and then errors. This prevents the task from finishing and means we have to manually go in to the software and check why this error occurred. On at least half of the times this has happened there has been no reason for it. We've ran the automation again manually and no error has occurred. This is very minor though as we have automation's running every day and for it to only happen a handful of times is a good strike rate in my opinion. I would also say that you need to spend time learning the software and have a reasonable period of testing in order to see the benefits.
The ability to be able to set up automated tasks that run outside of business hours has been a massive problem which we've solved. Another huge benefit of choosing Integromat is the lack on manual labour involved in our day to day tasks now - triggering emails, deleting, moving and archiving information from different apps. Once you've set up an automation and can see the benefits, you'll be continuously looking for ways to set up more. Integromat also has a very helpful support section which will give you a nudge in the right direction should you struggle working out how to set up certain tasks/automations.
I like this system because it has a very intuitive and versatile design that allows me to use it in a simple way, even after receiving the assistance of the customer service team for the configuration of this program, I liked to see how many processes were automated, leaving to more than one overwhelmed, in this way I have been able to make the most of my time and that of my staff.
At first I did not like this system because I felt confused with so many functions and at times I was about to ask for a refund, but thank God this did not happen since the customer service team gave us all the help in a timely and professional manner.
Thanks to this system has facilitated the process of sharing information between work teams, as well as facilitates the process of exporting files in various languages, no doubt this is very good because it saves us from having to buy file converters or having to expose ourselves to use online converters that can leave traces on the web of our important documents. With this software we have the facility to integrate it with numerous applications in order to have all the information at hand and very complete, we can also review the automated management in order to evaluate from the errors that the system can throw like the performance of the same.
Flexibility and price. It has more advanced features like Routing, triggering on changed records (Airtable in our case) and others.
Might be a bit overwhelming compared to Zapier or IFTTT, especially for non-techies, but they have good documentation
Things like sending a reminder via email for records from Airtable with a due date. This is not really possible with Zapier (only once).
A great tool to create integrations between apps. Loads of functionality and new apps are being added daily. A Zapier killer due to the attractive subscription levels.
There is a steep learning curve on some functionality (aggregators and integrators) and the help could be more comprehensive. It would be great if we could share developed scenarios with other users.
Replacing paid integrations with our own solutions for clients
You can build any flow you want/need in a very easy way. Even non technical members can create their own pipes with a basic learning. Many integrations are available and you can make curl, so you can do (almost) everything you want.
Filter conditions are not completely flexible. You need to input workarounds with more conditions than desired.
The main initial reason was to connect Segment and Pipedrive, which are not integrated between them. Then, in a enviroment with many tools, Integromat helps to glue them, adding value at the same time
It offers a good integration designer, with conditional logic, loops and other tools that you won't fine on other services.
Think the support is a little off yet... Had a problem with one of the connectors months ago and got no solution. Had to use HTTP request instead.
Integrating about 20 SaaS services to optimize workflows and reduce tedious repetition.
Beautiful UI on node / HUGE amount of functionality with no real competitors - fills the gap between IFTTT/Zapier and Programmatic web api
ok documentation but need more....that will come in town as usage increases
We are using it to help automate our processes and greatly increase efficiency of tasks.
Great UI and great functionality, lots of integrations to tap into.
Missing a few integrations with platforms I regularly use
Automation was the primary purpose for using integromat. To automate daily tasks.
With this tool, you can automate both day to day tasks. As well as serious projects at your enterprise. Even a child can handle the setting. And more functions.
This is a good tool for the beginner or inexperienced user. But there are also its shortcomings. The embedded database and its management is a nightmare. The same applies to any functions if they are more difficult than the entry level.
When it was necessary to quickly integrate different services or test hypotheses, this turned out to be the best and fastest solution. Also good for checking MVP.
Make helps make automations and rules possible within Notion for me that I'm currently unable to do via formulas. It's really nice that you get notified when the automation fails so you can get ahead of it. The user interface is also very pleasing.
Not so much a dislike as just a very strong learning curve. If I wasn't looking at instructions on how to set it up? I likely would have been lost. It has so many possibilities to it!
I use databases in Notion and I was trying to set up repeating tasks - when you check a box saying it's done, the next due date updates to the next needed one. There's not currently a way to do this within Notion so Make has made it possible.
Compared to Zapier, it is much cheaper and delivers a lot of good connections! Plus it's relatively easy to use!
They need to improve support and communication with customers urgently
Cheaper price per task performed and the ease of connecting with tools, even those that don't have a native app with them
Make helps create scenarios & connections between different resources in our enterprise. It also enables webhook-based execution in which we can run all scenarios parallelly and manage high workload & inbound requests. We can categorize our templates as either Public (Accessible by anyone in our organization) or Team (Accessible only by our Team members) which promotes reusability features and tailor our templates based on our needs.
Make Architecture is hosted predominantly on the Amazon Web Service platform, hence it's highly reliable and secure for our organization. For additional security, it offers SSO for user account management, authorization and authentication standards. It provides various function usability enhancements from which we can easily identify unclosed functions and prevent errors just by hovering over the part of the function.
Make platform integrates our Amazon S3 bucket & AWS Lambda function to our Datastore for our facilitating bucket creation, invoking trigger functions and creating records in our database. We utilize its Scenario editor to create our workflows and include modules to automate the process. We can schedule our scenario execution periodically through schedule settings and collect records from its logs for execution history.
I like the flexibility and customization that Integromat has compared to Zapier.
Sometimes certain apps require a few extra steps that can be a bit complicated to set up, but luckily not very often.
Automating several different workflows for myself and also for my clients.
