Great features, great cost, great service.
OpenPhone has amazing functionality for such a low price. I run two businesses on it and it's still cheaper than any of the other services that I've looked at for just a single business. They integrate with other tools like Zapier which puts them a cut above other similar apps, and their customer service is quick, friendly, and efficient. I'm very pleased with my experience at OpenPhone!
I needed a second number for my two businesses. Other apps I looked at were either two expensive for both businesses, had limited features, or the quality of calls and app functionality were less than stellar.
The customer service is definitely what stands out the most to me. Right away, I had a problem whereby I accidentally billed for a year instead of a month. I got no guff!
I have yet to find any flaw in the platform, it works as advertised or better and has access to local numbers that locals can't even get - which has been fun to make my van friends jealous with
creating a visible and reachable presence across Canada with a series of phone numbers local to areas where i am operating or intend to be operating within the next year.
There are plenty of good products similar to this one out there. But paired with an exceptional customer service, an unbeatable easy setup process and lots of features, OpenPhone really stands out the crowded field of providers.
There are so many features that at times the setup becomes a bit confusing. I think the most obscure features and settings should be behind an "advanced" tab that requires no updates from the regular user.
I switched providers because I need SMS capabilities and this one does offer that. The price is about the same of what I was paying before, so there was no financial gain. The iOS client seems to be very stable and easy to use.
I like that it comes with call recording without extra cost. In addition, I'm able to make and receive calls write from the browser with any plugins.
So far there isn't to dislike. I wish the auto menu voice was a more natural or they offer a complimentary voice menu for new clients.
I am able to get my VA working in minutes. I'm able to listening to inbound and outbound calls and see text message on 1 thread. Open phone made it simple.
Easy to setup. Great features. I like that my husband and I can both answer the calls workout being tired to one physical device.
Nothing yet. Account is setup and awaiting porting of number
Husband and I can answer phone without being tired to one physical device
Open Phone has given our staff the ability to have direct access to their clients outside of the salon. Is has streamlined our coummnication and freed up to time to focus on other business building items.
I would love to see a monthly fee for groups vs a fee for each individual staff member added.
We no longer need a physical phone in the salon. The phone ringing was disruptive to our calm environment and we were unable to connect with clients outside of the salon.
It’s so easy to use. Inexpensive. Fast. Awesome. Great team. Literally love it.
Nothing. Seriously. I hate Verizon business so much. I could talk about it for hours.
It handles all my business phone needs. It’s awesome.
I like being able to use your foreign phone number and obtain a phone number in the US. Great for digital nomads working in a global economy.
It would probably be great if they could expand this product into a scheduling product or just include more with it so I could lump for of my other subscription into just one all inclusive product.
Like I said above, I'm able to live and work in Europe or anywhere in the world and easily connect with my business contacts back home (US) . Especially in certain situations where it's more beneficial to have a US number instead of a foreign one.
I am not sure where to start. I have tested and used almost over virtual/voip phone systems on the market. While most of them cost an arm and a leg, they are also a total mess. The UI is so overwhelming and cluttered. OpenPhone has really disrupted this by creating an affordable (Prices are slowly increasing) and super clean phone system for individuals and teams. The setting and options are awesome and very well executed. There aren't a million options, settings, reports, and approvals to get through before you can make a single call or text. No other company has been able to execute a HubSpot integration that truly works. OpenPhone has also changed that. One of my favorite features is the option to automatically text after a missed call. This is a vital part of my business that ensures I never miss a lead because I am engaging with them even when I can't. I can also set business hours and customize the text and voicemail messages that play within and outside of business hours. Overall OpenPhone has been a big part of multiple businesses of mine! I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone I meet!
I hate to put dislike but based on how I do business there are features I wished were there for me. I run multiple businesses. An OpenPhone account can only be created with a unique physical phone number like a cell phone. I had issues getting multiple accounts set up because I only have 1 cell phone number but need multiple accounts for different businesses. It would be nice to be able to link my accounts together to quickly bounce between accounts without having to log out and log in. That is a pretty big stretch request though. I think one huge feature that could help my business a ton and make them an even more unique company would be to allow us to schedule texts in advance. This would ensure I never miss a follow-up and would help seamlessly automate my communication. These are of course requests. The actual app is great and works very well.
I am super busy and need to make sure I engage with leads even when I can't take a call. OpenPhone automatically texts people anytime I miss a call so they are still getting engagement with no effort on my part.
Everything is all set. Very Nice and is very open to anyone looking for the best VoIP phones; their Customer support was so fast on their response, very timely and well managed.
None at all. Everything was made Perfect. No Dislikes so far. If in case there is I'll let you know.
Everything is Good. I don't have anything for this!
I like to manage or business toll free number from my computer with OpenPhone.
We have not faced any issues with OpenPhone yet.
We no longer have to pay for an expensive business phone package offered by traditional phone companies.
I can take care of business from anywhere. Their customer service has always been top-notch.
I wish they didn't require a response here!
Our volunteers can handle ticketing requests and answer questions simply by responding to emails in their inboxes. Also, we were able to save a signig=ficant amount each month by porting our number to OpenPhone and canceling our landline.
I love being able to set business hours and keep my business contacts separate.
The web app is better than the phone app
It's one place to keep all my client communications - phone, text, and voicemail. More organized, more productive, better work/life balance.
OpenPhone works very smoothly and with almost no learning curve. The UI is easy to understand, and there are plenty of features for all needs. I currently have two numbers with OpenPhone and it receives calls, texts and sends out calls flawlessly. The person on the other end would never notice you're using a VOIP service, which I place a lot of value on. If you're moving an old phone number you've had for years to OpenPhone, the process is simple and the customer service throughout the process is patient and responsive. I also use Openphone for work since I purchased a separate line from Toronto to receive calls even while traveling. All in all great app and an even better team!
It's difficult to write anything in the dislike bar, for now it's all working smoothly and there's nothing to complain about. It's even got excellent value for what's offered so I don't dislike anything!
1) being unable to receive calls while abroad 2) A reasonably-priced VOIP solution for the US & Canada 3) Having a personal phone number and a work phone number without purchasing 2 SIM cards 4) VOIP app that can receive texts! 5) Having a VOIP service that works perfectly across Windows & IOS
User friendly app and very cost effective. Able to connect both iOS and Android devices. The service is very reliable and I am able to use the app to communicate with my customers with text, media text and voice
More phone system feature would be nice such as enable existing phone numbers to connect to the app and act as main switchboard to transfer the voice lines
Communication. This has resolved my issue to talk and communicating with my customers across the North America with voice, text and photos
- Being able to manage so many phone numbers all within one account. - The desktop and mobile app user experience and design. - The unbeatable price for such an amazing product. - The customer service and response time of the staff are incredible.
I would like it if they allowed users the ability to add 2FA using an authenticator but besides that, I can't complain.
I have multiple businesses and having all of my business numbers in one place is incredibly useful. Many VoIP apps only allow you to have one number but OpenPhone is like no other.
As a small business owner (Realtor), especially one focused on the customer service and sales side of things, separating your work and personal life is so important. It's impossible to set business hours on your cell phone! Getting calls and texts all hours of the night was very frustrating, especially if I was with my family at home for the evening. That's why I was so happy to find a solution that was affordable and way better than Google Voice. Now I have a designated work phone number (no more giving out my cell number!), and I can set business hours and auto-response text messages for incoming calls or texts after hours. It's great not being disturbed after hours, and I feel good knowing the Open Phone system can auto-respond with after-hours voicemails and auto-texts. I highly recommend it to my fellow Realtors.
I wish I could set a customized auto-response Do Not Disturb settings, similar to the Business Hours auto-response feature I love so much. When walking into an appointment, it would be great to quickly hit the Do Not Disturb tab and know that my Open Phone system will have a customized voicemail or auto-response texts for the missed calls I'm unable to answer.
Without question, Open Phone separates my work and personal life. It's amazing to be able to set office hours on my phone and truly be off work for the evening and spend more quality time with my family.
I love the fact that I am able to have multiple phone numbers and conduct outbound activity all from one place. They have one of the most responsive support teams out there.
I once lost one of my numbers, it might have been a user error. This made me nervous that I was going to need to get a new number but thankfully, they have an amazing support team that reassigned my old number.
With remote work, We do not use conventional office phones. Our team leverages this dialer to contact our prospects and customer base alike. This is a reliable tool our team uses daily.
I love open phone. One of the best features is that you can set up your business hours. If it's after-hours clients get a different voicemail and automatic text message than they get during hours. This is huge for my business. You also can collaborate with colleagues as a team reply to things which is also an amazing feature.
the only think I don't love is the hope screen on the app. I find myself having a harder time getting to the keypad to make a call. I also find myself looking for the compose button for a text message at the top of the screen, not the bottom. They are very minor things though
I love that it is integrated with Zapier as that means you can link it to so many other software or services you may use! And I love that it allows me to have boundaries and set expectations for clients.
It's easy to use, low cost, multiple options and functions (recording calls, transfers etc) and staff is very friendly and helpful.
Honestly, just started using. Have used for business calls multiple times over last couple weeks, still haven't encountered anything I'd consider a downside.
Working overseas, one often needs to communicate with business and government services in US, practically impossible though without a service like OpenPhone.
