Makes it easy to communicate with customers, either on our website or not. Also, we can send payment requests to customers and it's super simple. Easy for us and easy for our customers. It's the best in class tool. We've tried the others.
It's not inexpensive, but it is worth the cost. There are cheaper alternatives, but they are klunky, harder to use, and with less features.

It helps with the reviews for your business. Everyone said it so easy to write something about the experience they had with your business!

Mainly the fact that you can communicate with customers under your store listed phone number and the fact that it notifies customers to let them know repairs are ready
We had some issues at first, but it was mainly from getting my store phone number released from a different service
In a nutshell, I just love the convieniece of all messages being on one platform for responding
Before, we would miss so many business opportunities outside of business hours. Now we can respond to clients from all over the place. We love being able to send out blast messages to clients.
The only downside is that sometimes it disconnects from our other apps from time to time. May be an issue with the other party.

We are able to quickly engage with our customers through webchat, which makes them very happy. Our ability to respond in a personal way has helped solve the problem of a customer wondering about items on our website.
The amount of reviews we have gained through Podium has helped our busienss grow exponentially. We pride ourselves on our 5 star reviews and also appreciate knowing when we receive a less than stellar review so we can reach out to the client and correct the issue.
Lately, the integration has had mutiple instances where it disconnects from our POS system for days at a time.
We love that we can collect payments from clients via Podium which makes it easier for our clients to conduct busienss during their busy day.
Podium lets me communicate with my customers across so many different channels. Be it text, google chat, facebook, instagram, or email, I can easily communicate with everyone! They have now included an AI option to make my life easier, and our phone system is about to be handled by Podium as well, saving us time and money! I use podium more than any other tool at my disposal. It is extremely easy to set up, and their support is top knotch!
The only thing I'd like to see different from Podium is more communication about new features and benefits coming out.

Sometimes my customer will put me in a group chat, and the system won't let me respond as a group. Also, there are some attachments my customers will send and I cannot open them (contact shares, gifs, pictures). Also, wish the emoji's were updated. Most of them won't show up on both my end or the customers.

I LOVE HAVING THE ABILITY TO TEXT OUR CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT PREFER TEXTING OVER A PHONE CALL. I ALSO LOVE THE BULK MESSAGE OPTION. IT MAKES QUICK WORK GETTING IMPORTANT MESSAGES TO A BIG GROUP OF CUSTOMERS AT ONCE.
I WISH THERE WAS AN OPTION TO LABEL CONTACTS AS CUSTOMERS, VENDORS, OR SPAM. I ALSO WISH THERE WAS A QUICK WAY TO CLEAN UP CONTACTS THAT HAVE NO NAME OR NO PHONE NUMBERS.
THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE THESE DAYS THAT PREFER TEXT MESSAGING OVER PHONE CALLS. IF I CALL A CUSTOMER AND GET NO ANSWER, I WILL SEND THEM A MESSAGE AND USUALLY GET A RESPONSE WITHIN MINUTES.
Podium makes communicating not only more effective but also efficient. It has become a very seamless process for our business. We love being able to call or text customers from any device and have a faster response time, while not missing a beat! This is definitely a game changer and we can't wait to continue growing with Podium.
That it is only internet based. Sometimes we worry about losing internet connection and missing a customer interaction.
Not missing calls from customers
Podium is very easy to use and makes contacting my customers via text a breeze. I also like the caller ID so that I can pull up the customers information before answering. I use podium all day every day and even when I am away from my desk on my mobile phone. Podium made it possible for me to work remotely.
I seem to get a lot more spam calls then I did before. I am not sure if that is a podium filter or just more spam calls are out there now.

Podium allows us to send and recieve texts to our customers and our construction managers, which helps us manage our jobs much more efficiently.
Hopefull someday they will incorporate group texting in Podium.
We were not getting many reviews because our technicians wouldn't ask customers. I've been sending them automatically since August 2023 and we have more than doubled the amount of reviews we had.
Podium took our company from under 100 reviews to over 1000 in a year. It used to be like pulling teeth to get customers to leave reviews. Not anymore. They get a simple text to their phone and boom - review submitted. Definitley glad we decided to pull the trigger and go with Podium. The integration with FieldEdge/ESC was super slick and easy. It is something we utilize every day and every call. Customer service in my expereinece has been helpful and knowledgable.
Campaigns should be included and not charged based on contacts. Also should be able to have our main office line textable so that the customer gets a local area code via text. But they want to nickle and dime for this kind of thing.

The initial reason we got Podium was for texting - which is our favorite part still. Since beginning our business relationship with Podium, we've began using their other features, mainly payments and have loved growing and developing with them.
Not a dislike, but if I needed to say something that it doesn't do that I wish it did do is integrate with our other softwares.
Podium best serves us as a time management tool. It makes our company more efficient and helps management monitor customer relations more closely.

I can access Podium anywhere at anytime, commuicate with customers and get FIVE star reviews with a quick automated message. Its been great and there are added features for sending a coupon or special by text. The cost is great too.

I like that you can use this platform like you would use a cell phone. I also like how you can send automated reviews out.

I wish it integrated with with AestheticsNOW / EnvisionNOW - our practice managment software. If it did integrate it would a complete 100percent solution. The Phone is a little antequated. I wish there was a cordless unit with multiple headsets.
