I like that I can send invoices right from Quickbooks, keep track of payments, create templates.

I wish it were easier to accept payments automatically and not have to input as much.

QuickBooks Desktop Pro has helped me track company finances. I manage to enter all customers in the system and track the progress of their invoices. I also receive payments made by the customers and therefore I know how much is pending from each customer and when its due so that I can remind them. Am also able to know when payment is due to the company suppliers so that their accounts department doesn't have to follow up seeking payment. The software also helps manage the company payroll.

Rhe GL details. Sometimes when making a journal entry to an AP account it ask for a vendor to be added, even after you add it, it still keep asking. It also doesn't let you select the billable option in that entry so that the system creates an invoice, so why is that billable option there?

The key reports that we would like to see if always a default kind of setting, and this doesn't help us customize the report to how we would like to see it. The reporting feature within Quickbooks is very limited so this doesn't give a clear picture on how a project is doing or even how the company is doing as a whole.

There are default forms in Quickbooks, such as utility forms, purchase orders, and tax forms. These forms are designed to resemble the real thing, to look as close as possible to what we would be filling out if we were not using Quickbooks. This helps speed up the process and helps the user.
