Nothing! Xero is the best accounting platform out there. None of the others can hold a candle to it.

I have been able to handle all of my business invoicing and balance my checking accounts and credit cards seamlessly. The ease of use in comparison to other accounting software is amazing.

The bank feeds make bank reconciliations super easy. You can automate and repeat invoices, bills, journals. Also, it offers a lot of different integrations.

The bank feeds don't seem to work very well with some of the banks my clients use, so I have to export and import the bank transactions manually. It's still an easy process if the bank provides an OFX file type; it just takes longer. If the bank does not provide an OFX file type export, it takes even longer.

I have been scared to manage other accounting software as such as Sage group or Quickbooks. As the UI differs and one simple mistake can lead to big troubles, XERO has been the most satisfying software I have ever used. With great UI/UX.

The inventory or purchase side is very basic for the software, there can be an improvement for managing the inventory side of things which will help users to manage everything in one single source instead of integrating it with other software.

We were managing the payroll with XERO, managing all the freelancers times for how long they worked and how much should be paid to them, manage to invoice, manage all the sales, making the end of week reports and using Hubdoc which was the best feature which has saved a lot of time for the company for data entry manually.

I love being able to click through to everywhere, run in multiple windows and integrate with other platforms

I wish they'd get rid of all UK spelling and references for Americans

Xero is super user-friendly. I like everything in Xero. It just takes my bookkeeping career to another level.

There is not a single item in Xero which I dislike.

Xero offers the best solution while transferring from another accounting software. Comparative balance is an excellent function in Xero. It helps to showcase all the previous years balances in one place.

The dashboard to the reporting are all very clean, uncluttered, and user friendly for all levels of experience.

I believe one of the best features of Xero is its auto-match at the bank reconciliation stage. It reduces the need to go looking through invoices as Xero itself provides suggestions for possible matches.

Although there isn't anything in particular that I don't like about this software but what I believe needs improvement is its bank feed system of linking to banks to Xero. Although the process is simple, it is still time-consuming to get the linkage approved by the banks, while many banks still haven't partnered with Xero yet.

I think Xero has provided many Accountants with a tool to customize reports to suit the specific needs of each user. For example, I have redesigned the GST report, Ageing reports, and others to suit my needs. This modification feature has helped me save a lot of time as it provides ready-made reports which don't need any further filtration.

keeps our invoices, tuition fee records organized. using xero eliminates the usage of paper, makes bills and payables record keeping easier . useful to everyone especially to those who dont have any accounting experience. It is user friendly. It also makes payments transactions easier. We are able to keep track of each of our student's tuition fee , balances and other payables because of Xero. We have linked Xero to our sudenyt's profiles.

sometimes it lags and the updates will not appear immediately. Xero is user friendly. and you can update the system to keep up with your current needs. maybe it would be better if xero send monthly updates to the account manager automoatically

One of the Benefits of uisng xero system is having all files organized. When I click on the student's name, I can just click on his xero invoices and see all history and balances.It keeps collaboration and information sharing within the company easy.

Xero is a simple to use, nondaunting accounting platform. I'm basing my review from the view of a small business owner, it works equally well for large corporations, I'm sure, but for the purpose of this review, let's keep it small. I run a small graphic design firm in Ireland and a simple solution to accounting was a must, as I am absolutely awful with anything to do with accounting. Xero offers a straightforward solution, ties in well with National and international bank accounts to allow for automatic reconciliation, which is a huge time saver. I have been using it since 2010 (it's now 2021) and I can firmly say for a small business, it's excellent value.

Occasionally the bank balance shown will not align with the actual amount of money in the account. This may however be down to the fact that I work in multiple currencies.

It saves me heaps of time. I can invoice quickly and easily. I've linked it in with Stripe Payments which has improved the time I get paid by most clients significantly.

Xero's platform is extremely easy to setup and navigate but still has all the features you need without being so robust that it's slow to navigate. You can integrate so many softwares through their open API and adjustments are a breeze. You can add various user levels to share the file with business owners and CPAs or members of the team who may just need access to one portion like AR/AP.

Xero could improve the 1099 process but their developer team always takes comments into account and works to push new updates to the software frequently.

A cloud accounting software that really cares about its users and allows an easy to navigate accounting software to create beautiful reports for monthly review and end of year tax filings. Affordable and offers numerous integrations to other softwares if your specific needs are not met within the software itself.

I have solved the creation of reports for many centres using one set of accounts by using tracking categories I also used tracking categories to breakdown reports even further by a secondary set of categories

Xero is a cloud accounting solution to allow business owners to issue invoice digitally and allows collection of payment to be faster because customer can choose to make their payment only via PayPal or their credit card.

XERO can be a little slow at times and the subscription fees is a little on the high side.

I am able to organize my accounts with XERO. Most important, I will be able to invite my accountant into XERO to help me with my bookkeeping and accounting for my company.
