I love that with my limited bookkeeping experience, I feel in control of my small non-profit and our finances. I can easily generate reports and see where our accounts stand.
It does take some time to figure it all out. QB can be a bit overwhelming and not always easy to set up in the beginning.

The cost of it is pricy but other than that I have no problem with it because I know how to use the software.
I use QuickBooks Desktop Pro to set up companies for clients as I am a freelance Accountant and it makes creating a company easy as after you create the company and create your chart of accounts and entry in the customers and vendors etc it's smooth sailing from there as QuickBooks automatically save changes whenever you post to an existing account.

I really don't dislike anything about it. My company switched to Unanet GovCon because it is a more robust system for government cost accounting vs. the simplicity of QBs. However, QBs is great for most accounting needs.
Early on in the start-up of my small business, QBs was exactly what we needed. It enabled me, a non-accountant, to keep track of financials in a simplistic way.
