We love the easy to use mobile app and the flexibility this software gives us for tracking and billing management. The customer service team has been great as well, they are quick to respond and always have an answer! BD1
The only "dislike" i would say we have had would simply be that when we started using Tsheets years ago, it wasnt quite as robust and refined as it is now.
We are much more in tune with whats going on with employees time, and what projects needed better management to expedite completion. Its definitely given us a useful view of how employees manage themselves and their time.
The responsiveness..the patience and willingness to go the extra mile to help!!!!...I started online getting awesome help but when the online customer rep (Brad) determined I might need more help, he sent me a call in number and stayed online until the representative on the phone (Janine) was up to speed and helping me. I felt really good that I wasn't being abandoned and left to sit here at my computer confused about how to make the changes I needed to make for our employee tracking.
hmmm...not much...TSheets is a little limited for us on the way we calculate OT, but, as that is more complicated to explain, I'll just say, calculating OT is my only issue :)
Our field staff had an inordinate challenge with calculating when they were on the road, versus at a job site, as they are at many places all day, every week for two weeks, it was nearly impossible (insert hateful here) for them to keep accurate records of their hours. Plus my husband LOVES the gps aspect. We have a three state territory and we needed a better handle on where our team was and when. Now we can increase appointments (which increases our cash flow) because our team is way more logistically efficient.
Lauren W. helped me connect my Quickbooks program to my T-sheets account in about 5 seconds! All of the customer service help in T-sheets has been phenomenal, I have been using it for a year and I love it and so do all of our employees! The employees like how easy it is to switch between jobs and they can either keep track of time as they work or enter it later.
It would be cool if we had enough room to include a job address for the employees instead of just a name, however, that might be a Quickbooks issue because they don't give enough characters in the job name to be able to do that.
I can read all of the time cards and the notes now. The ease of use and integrating with Quickbooks. Editing is so easy and the employees love it too!

Tracking time
I spoke to Janine on a Friday night and she was wonderful and friendly to troubleshoot a syncing error. As I'm scaling our business, my staff has found T-sheets to be an easy tool to clock in and out especially when working off site.
The syncing error I experienced was due to a mapping issue I didn't update when changing an employee from salaried to hourly plus commission. Just a simple nuance of the system so no complaints.
The system is clean and easy for my co-workers to use.

I love the time tracking feature, so I can switch between clients and ensure all my time is recorded properly. I also LOVE that I was having an issue pretty early in the morning and was able to receive great help from Sydny when I called Customer Support,, he was super friendly and answered my question.
I have not found anything that I dislike yet, I have been using the product about 6 months now.
I have been able to bill so much more of my time since tracking my time with Tsheets. Before, the small tasks for each client would get lost and not billed for, but now every minute of my time is accounted for. Super user friendly product, and I love that I can access it from anywhere since it is online.
We needed to have our Tsheets to be DCAA compliant, I emailed and set up a time to speak with a Tsheets rep. I spoke with Rachel and she was the best help. SHe got my Tsheets set up so that we are now on our way to be DCAA compliant, and she also gave me some links to further explain teh details of what we need to do to be compliant. Tsheets is the best, Thanks Rachel.
I like everything about Tsheets that I have seen so far.
Tsheets helps us manage the timekeeping process, the US government buys more time than anything else and timekeeping is critical.

Nothing so far. We have not experienced any issues to date but one and Reece was able to help fix very quickly.
Login for our employees is more accurate and great to know they are on the jobsite when logged in.
Tiffany B was by far the BEST Tech Support I have ever received. I swear I made no sense in explaining my issue but she knew exactly what I meant and how to help me. She explained everything to me as we went through the process and everything she explained made complete sense. She was patient, polite, and honestly the sweetest person I've ever worked with. She was fast and efficient and helped me resolve all of my problems. I wish that I could choose to work with her every time!

TSheets has made time keeping a cinch and I'm able to monitor and manage the employees and projects much more effectively.
Tsheets listens and looks for best solutions. Customer Service is excellent. The team is very knowledgeable. Every call to customer service has been great .Reece and Brian have been exceptional. Jaime and Aaron have been there for our success.
Approving time via phone app is very difficult.
Timekeeping aspect of our business has benefited greatly. It has cut down on paper costs and allowed manager to spend more time on projects than time checking.
Denise was very helpful in helping me fix my mistake. I had accidentally imported my jobs wrong and erased all of our company's job data for all three companies. Our employees couldn't clock out. She was able to re-integrate our previous jobs, saving mine!!
One checkbox should NOT have that much power when it comes to overriding.

The chat function was so helpful in setting up my account and answering questions. When they hit a tough one, they referred me to their stellar phone support and Shawn helped fix a complicated problem.
The one recommendation I have is to improve the printable reports directly from TSheets. There should be similar customizations to what you can create in Quickbooks.
I need to report my employees time to my clients with each invoice. Until now we've tracked our time manually and uploaded once a month to Excel. It's taken me 4-5 hours a month to do this. Now, the process will be seamless.

I haven't come across any dislikes as of yet. I use TSheets daily to generate reports and review entries, everything that I have thought to add to customize our company has been accomplished with the help of the team within TSheets.
Managing our resources and projects by extracting data from a day to day basis to run different man power reports and cost reports by dumping the data into an access database.
Everyone that I've dealt with there has been technically proficient and excellent to get along with, they really enjoy what they do. Right, and Janine was "the bomb" .. she helped me get the tie-in between tsheets & quickbooks set up .. well, I guess I just can't say enough about how helpful she was, as well as everyone that I've dealt with at tsheets. As a matter of fact, if I wasn't an old C/Embedded Systems guy I'd probably be begging these guys for a job. They know what's going on.
Sometimes there's some non-intuitive pieces to getting things set up .. I'm not an accountant so it's probably my limitations that are frustrating.
I wanted to have my work time tracked and automatically transferred into Quickbooks for invoicing my customer(s). Tsheets has made that almost a no-brainer. I can use their iPhone app to "clock in" and "clock out" then export my daily hours to Quickbooks; that way I can generate an invoice in a couple of minutes without having to keep a paper notebook and enter time that way. Tsheets is a major "force multiplier" for me in time and billing!
Janine did a fantastic job walked me through everything to make sure my account is syncing with quickbooks properly. I had just changed over from Quickbooks Online so everything had to be set up again.

They are always so nice and so willing to help. They know all the answers to each question I have. I have worked with Shandara multiple times and she's awesome and deserves a raise. Don't take her off Sunday's though...I like working with her and she seems to be there when I call on Sundays.
So far nothing, the service is excellent and so helpful. We are so happy with purchasing the product, makes us job costing and calculating hours on a job so easy.
Hours worked. We don't have to manual figure out hours. So nice not to do this anymore. Now all we have to do is run a simple report to job cost labor to jobs. One of our builders recommend the product and we tried it for 7 days free. I don't know how we lived without it for so long. Makes my and my husband's life so much easier.
