Softr rocks because the platform easily connects with Back-end-as-a-service offerings like Airtable making it easy to deploy applications for our clients. The support is incredible and it has been great supporting our clients with this service.
More integrations and modules would be helpful but what is there really works for us so no major complaints.

It is so fast to whip up a web app prototype! The customer service is excellent - the team will jump in to help hands-on. Compared to other platforms, Softr is fast to learn.
There are limitations to UI particularities that can make a big difference for the user. There are some finicky bits that come with any no-code platform. Troubleshooting is a part of life. Customer service is limited on the weekends.
I'm working on product-market fit, and Softr is perfect for prototyping different ideas to get feedback from users. Softr also integrates with several analytics tools to allow for more granularity on user behavior.
It connects to airtable and other data sources to make your own app. The UI options are balanced to be on the simple side with enough options to make it your own style.
When a user is able to edit fields in a record, the user has to edit all the editable fields from the same list. It would be much better if this could be limited to a specific block, so the user only has the option to edit the relevant fields in the block. So data entry can be split into sections. This can be done in a workaround, but it's laborious.
Giving many users a way to view and edit data in my airtable base. Setting up a functional app at a relatively low cost in a tech stack that has a relativey achievable learning curve. Great for bootstrapping startups!
Easy to use platform, use of my own domain, integrations galore, and simplistic designs as well as tutorials to guide you on your journey to building and testing your app.
No grants to assist nonprofits get software at discount, no partnership with TechSoup or Appsumo, and no custom code integration on free tier. I still however enjoy this software very much!
Our nonprofit uses this software to build client and student portals, develop our proprietary system for finding curriculum personalized for a student, and creating a business directory of approved vendors and student communities. Incredible what you can achieve with AirTable!

Probably the simple aesthetics and layout provided, ease of use and helpful/friendly customer support. Ease of linking the website to custom domains as well.
Some features were limited - such as being unable to change certain layouts to our preference, having to pay more to unlock certain functions, and changing the layouts on other devices changed everything.
We didn't have a website before, and we have discovered various website builders. Despite Softr's limited functions, the team decided that Softr has the best ease of use and simplicity, which fulfill to our organisation's needs.
