Conveniently syncs my Stripe payments to Quickbooks
Just need to be careful setting up taxes
It simplifies getting my transactions from Stripe to Quickbooks
This app has more features than any other syncronization app I have tried for connecting Square and Stripe to Quickbooks. The other apps are not even usable due to key features missing. Synder is easy to use. Once it is set up it runs in the background with little attention needed.
A small number of transactions fail to sync each month. I would like to see this improved, but fortunately it is easy to correct the failures with just a few clicks in the Synder app. Also, the setup instructions are a little bit confusing in some areas.
Since I started using Synder I have saved myself dozens of hours of manual data entry. I could not serve my clients well without this app. The app pulls in all of the details I need and leaves behind those that I do not want. It is an excellent solution for anyone with a large volume of transactions to by syncronized.
The customer support is great! I worked with a support rep named George who was very helpful and active in their response times. Looking forward to seeing their software continue to improve.
The rule system, while functional, is very clunky to work with. It is very tedious to create rules, and you cannot duplicate them or easily change the initial trigger for a rule. The rules also seem unnecessarily expensive. Finally, while the monthly transaction subscription rate makes sense for Synder, it does not make sense for companies that run sales and have brief periods of high transaction volume. You cannot downgrade your subscription yourself without contacting support so once you're locked into a high transaction volume subscription, it can get expensive. For these different business models, it would be nice to be able to explore a by transaction pricing model that allows for billing to match intermittent transaction volumes.
We process payments through stripe and paypal which have both outgoing and incoming transactions, paypal especially, which can pay out affiliates. The volume of transactions processed by our business is so high that it would be nearly impossible to keep the books manually. With their automatic (and accurate) importing as well as the rule feature, we are able to greatly reduce our bookkeeping costs while still maintaining accurate financial reports for internal and external reporting requirements.
It comprehensive ability to sync Stripe and Square transactions
The Price. Unfortunately you have to move from 50 syncs per month to 500 syncs per month. For small businesses that want 150-200 syncs this is a problem.
Saving lots of processing time
I run a small vineyard business selling our own wine online and from the vineyard, and tasting visits. I am setting up Quickbooks but couldnt make it sync with Paypal. Synder just does it. No probs. Worked first time. Really pleased with it. I havent so far needed support.
Only drawback is that I need to sync back data for 18 months to do the business accounts for the tax return, and as far as I can see there is no way to do this other than to upgrade to a level that I dont need for anything else. It would be good to be able to buy the back-sync transactions I need without having to pay for a years worth of a big upgrade.
Needing to sync Quickbooks with Paypal. So far it is doing that really easily. It is saving me loads of time compared with syncing using downloaded monthly csv spreadsheets.
Works well behind the scenes and makes recording transactions easy.
Sometimes the software can be a little glitchy when importing historical data.
Synder helps the business keep track of our record books. It cuts down on our costs for staff.
Sync works perfectly between either PayPal or Stripe and Quickbooks Online.
The number of syncs included on the smallest plans is less than their competitors at the same price point.
Integration with QuickBooks Online from PayPal and Stripe saves time and avoids errors. Works very smoothly.
Automatically sync from different platforms.
Has some sharp learning curves. Initially, I had a lot of interactions with the support.
I have QBO and different payment sources. Synder can import everything and put them into QBO.
Tony was very helpful and didn't get frustrated with all of my questions.
It was a bit complicated to set up and to understand who I should set up an account for.
I'm trying to link my client's Stripe account to QBO.
We're using Synder to sync our Stripe transactions with Quickbooks. The customer support has been fabulous. I'm not an accountant so I had a lot of quesions, but Anastasia was very patient with me and stayed on the chat for nearly an hour helping me sort out the kinks.
It was a little complicated for me to understand at first, but this is probably due to the fact that I'm trying to take over our bookkeeping and get familiar with Quickbooks plus integrate Stripe using Synder all at the same time.
Saving time by not having to manually enter every transaction (client purchases) and expense (Stripe fees) that comes through Stripe.
