i loved the email designing tool lot of options to customize your email design.
there is no part to dislike but, i coudnt figure out their link click ratio.
we are using sendgrid for marketing automation and integration purpose.
Ease of use, excellent support & staff, affordable pricing, good documentation
I haven't ran into anything about SendGrid that I dislike at this particular point in tme
Transactional e-mails and looking at implementing the marketing module soon to replace ConstantContact
They get my email delivered, and if there are issues, they provide AWESOME support!
Chat support seems to have decreased in terms of availability.
They ensure that my emails get delivered to my customers!
Very intuitive UX that is a pleasure to use, marketing campaigns are a breeze to create with their high quality templates. Node.js documentation (and I daresay for the rest of the sdks) are well-written and concise, making it easy to integrate.
There really isn't anything to nitpick. This is a very well designed product.
EDMs used to be cumbersome to send and manage, sendgrid has made it such a pleasure that I now I can't wait to send my marketing emails!.
I really enjoy the poiwer of sendgrid. We converted from mandrill, and have been nothing short of ecstatic. We custom brand the sending domain and user interface. The API is excellent, and a drop in replacement with excellent documentation. The tracking and stats facilities are excellent, and more powerful than we can imagine. We have several user identities with varied levels of access to the service.
The main sendgrid website is a little hard to navigate, but this isnt an issue with the app itself.
We use this for our transactional emails, and have realized that sendgrid provides powerful tools for analysis of delivery of transactional and marketing emails. The unsubscribe feature is excellent, and ensures we remain CAN-SPAM compliant.
When it comes to SendGrid, I like the user interface and the contact management.
There's nothing really I particularly dislike about SendGrid.
SendGrid benefits our marketing efforts by allowing us to track our click through and open rate. It also allows us to manage our unsubscribes effectively.
We use SendGrid because it integrates well with MailPoet's Wordpress plugin. Our newsletters are now automated, and that is an amazing feeling.
I've had no problems with SendGrid or its integration with MailPoet.
Time management - Now our team is able to focus on other projects, rather than spending valuable time laboring over weekly newsletter emails.
I love the navigation and ease of use as well as the customer service that tells you exactly how to operate this software solution. I found the platform to allow me to learn quickly as the layout is logical. The price is very competitive and also the solution allows most companies to run a whitelabel service on it if you have more than 1 client if you are an agency. The reporting part of the software is very detailed and can provide a great level of intel for you and your clients. So outstanding and also A/B testing can be very useful when trying to learn the best way to target your customers. I would ty this platform first before any other and you will see how easy it is to use and benefit from.
I found very little things to dislike about this product. If anything I would like the system to be able to integrate with certain CRM systems.
I am solving my problems by using this software to communicate effectively with their brilliant level of authentication that allows more emails to get through to the intended recipient using DKIM settings and so forth. Also the cost again provided me with a platform that would fit in with my budgets that other systems would be too expensive to do.
easy to use. Great back end UI. Our developer liked it since it was easy to implement
nothing. I thought it was great to use.
automated emails like password resets, you've had a sale email or welcome email.
Simplicity, and pricing plans. The basic service does the job very well.
I have no complaints. I have no complaints. I really have nothing bad to say, sorry.
Sending email from our website and web apps.
Their REST API feature is the most amazing and easy API I have used. It's very secure and probably the best API I can say.
I liked almost everything about Sendgrid, I would prefer easy plugin for linux mail installation.
Their system made our transactional emailing very easy
I found the documentation to be very complete. Both the python and nodejs wrappers were very easy to plug and play.
I did not encounter anything to dislike. I didn't use very elaborate features (e.g. templating)
We built a web application and we used sendgrid both to send normal transactional emails (pwd recovery, etc) and weekly tests.
It can send out large amount of the email within short amount of time and the support is very helpful. Our business has grow because our deliver rate has increased over time with sendgrid's tool. So, I will recommend to other company.
For the basic account, we don't really get much help with support. We switched to the PREMIER account and we have account manager. Our account manager's name is Lauren and she is very helpful. I am very pleasure to work with her.
We are trying to deliver our new article about emotional intelligence to our customer weekly. We try to get people to understand how important EQ is. So people can start using our training classes.
Tim, our account manager! If you speak to another ESP, any question you have often results in a long, seemingly incomprehensible article thrown at you. SendGrid is consistently there to help-with thoughtful explanations, simple instructions, and smart recommendations. An example - SG has technically have no obligation to explain all the nuances of deliverability, or QA a big send alongside our team (etc.) but they go out of their way to do so knowing how that information empowers our team to make smart decisions.
I'm using the marketing tool right now, and there's a lot of things it can't do yet that I'd love for it to do - to be able to export my opens, to not have the code random CSS now and again, to have an FTP or an easier way to import large files than a CSV, etc. Because we've really appreciated our customer service / account management to date, we wanted to give SG a try with our marketing sends. But I think we're not the ideal use case for the tool.
We have a small, lean team. We really appreciate pairing with the experts, who don't mind working so closely with us.
Twilio SendGrid Marketing Campaigns serves a dual purpose within our organization: It enables automated email delivery on the platform side and also facilitates the distribution of newsletters and other communications to customers by the marketing team. As a result, both the engineering and marketing teams rely on this tool. An important benefit of using this technology is that it allows the engineering team to seamlessly switch out emails as needed, which addresses a key business challenge.
One potential challenge of using Twilio SendGrid Email API is the need for a certain level of technical expertise to fully leverage the tool's capabilities. Setting up and configuring the API may require some programming knowledge, which could be a barrier for users without a technical background. Additionally, troubleshooting issues or resolving errors within the API may require advanced technical skills. However, Twilio SendGrid provides extensive documentation and support resources to help users navigate these challenges.
Twilio SendGrid Email API solves several problems related to email delivery, automation, and management. One major benefit is that it provides a reliable and scalable solution for sending high volumes of emails, such as marketing campaigns, transactional notifications, and other types of automated messages. This can be particularly useful for businesses with a large customer base, as it allows for personalized and targeted communication at scale.
I suppose there are other tools for managing templates, but the "edge" for me is the ability to separate management. This way it is possible to first test the flow on a staging environment before going live on the production environment.
Sometimes one might forget to sync the remote notification templates with the local notification temples. Thus, it might seem there's a bug where there isn't actually one. I guess a notification reminding the user to sync the notification could have been helpful. In case that's not the usual drill, rather an implementation chosen at my company, then please accept my apologies :)
The problem is to easily manage the distribution of a high volume of emails. In addition to distributing the emails themeselves, Twilio SendGrid Email API allows the user to manage templates for rendering the contents easily.
How transparently all the information flows and it's displayed on their dashboards. Also it's very nice having a way to receive metrics from it, so you can be able to integrate it with other products
Warmup is a pain, but it's something needed. Sendgrid documents this very well and also provides some automation around it, but it's still a pain. Also the alerts system would be nice to have more options to customize
Sending emails basically, it is a pain to have to manage this by yourself and monitor it correctly, having a robust solution for not having to deal with it is a win.
Sendgrid is very easy to set up and because it's such a popular and well known service, it can integrate with hundreds of different software providers, giving a lot of flexibility.
If you don't know what you're doing, the idea of using a service like Sendgrid can be confusing to some people, and requires some time to figure out and integrate. This is not an issue with Sendgrid specifically, just with people who aren't fully understanding how the service works.
So I have my regular email service provider where I send my newsletters, promos and such but they're not so good at sending transaction based emails. Sendgrid solves that problem for me.
Very easy to use, I can see the bounced and blocked emails
I wish it had more filters apart from date, the contents of the email are not visible but shows how many times someone has opened an email
Sending emails to someone
1. Reliability - Its uptime is pretty excellent and gives me the confidence to send bulk emails without any fear at anytime. 2. Templates - It comes with a sound library of templates that I customize with my data and save for future usage. 3. Analytics - Its monitoring dashboard helps me understand my customer experiences, and I can pull in this data externally for further analysis.
1. High Price - It has been heavily rising its prices, which I find difficult to comprehend. I might choose other alternatives since my use-cases are not as complex. 2. Long Support Wait Times - Even for an upgraded package, the support is not real-time and you have to wait till a long time to get in contact with a real-person.
We use SendGrid APIs in our platform for all end-user communications via SMS. Since we operate at scale with complex developer requirements, we chose SendGrid over other vendors. It's reliability and heavy customer-focused features are the primary reasons for my overall positive review. However, the pricing model is pretty expensive and wouldn't recommend for others who might not need all the advanced features.
