I'm a full stack developer. I have used Twilio sendgrid at my one of project, in that project basically I have to varify that user when he or she registered. This service helped me to send the email for varification to that particular user. Some things are the best in sendgrid which I appreciate that, like it is open-source. Even we can use in our project at a testing time. It is also provide the range of mails to send in one month. Anyone can use the email service which have provided by Twilio sendgrid email API.

That one thing which I have faced when I have create my account at Twilio sendgrid. I have faced some error, like you are unauthorised, I am not able to varify and Authorize myself . So i wish this kind of issues should not faces by others users of Twilio sendgrid.

One of the problem which I had faced, to varify your account after the registered your self at Twilio sendgrid. Some time user can't able to varify their account. So I would like to say that if this problem solved at this time then after the allover services which have provided by Twilio sendgrid is much better than others. All overall the experience with it is so good.

Normal email sending is good they provide very good Email PAI service, and also all the shared IPs they provide are in good reputation. I cross-checked the IP reputation of shared IPs, and still, they are very good. Support is good

There are few negatives in automation. They are add some automation features like in Mailchimp.

It's solving the email deliverability problems. Sending bulk emails works perfectly fine. We have been searching for a good bulk email sender and found Sendgrid to be amazing. We also looking forward to use automation

Sengrid has been such a wonderful system to use to keep track of the emails being sent out by our automatic system. The ability to check if emails bounced, have been blocked, if the emails were opened and even clicked on has been severly helpful in our efforts to educate our guests/customers about the importance of confirmation emails and accountability. Nothing negative to say about how it all works hand in hand together

One small thing that really bums us about (seniors here) would be the limited dates you can use you generate emails sent to a specific email address. Would be very nice to maybe push it to 3 months if possible however other than this, Sengrid is just wonderful !

Sendgrid made it easy for use to offer our customers a simple way to send emails from out application. We offer a CRM with full email intergration thanks to SendGrid.

The most complicated part was getting it to work with our API and getting it setup on our customer's end (our customer's arent technical so setting up the correct DNS records can be a bit complicated.) Further, i got no complaints!

I have used SendGrid integration with salesforce to send emails on a particular event it is straightforward to integrate into the system and it very responsive to the change of the event

On a particular event that is to update a specific field in salesforce, it is not responding so I have to send an email on the update of the whole record. I haven't found any solution to that so there are still things to update

Sendgrid is not very intuitive and thus , it usually requires previous experience with email marketing setups, to be able to use effectively.

Integrating new senders is not that intuitive on the UI and makes it confusing. Verifying new senders is also not a seamless process as it does not notify if the verification email went through. Sometimes the template designed using the editor does not reflect the email received.

After Sendgrid's acquisition by Twillio, there were many changes to the product (as expected), which unfortunately meant pricing tiers also shifted so features such as the audit history became limited unless you paid more. The API endpoint itself however is versioned so we don't have to worry about breaking changes to our product.

There are a number of strong features in SendGrid. The top two we probably benefit from the most are the API and the reporting. The API makes it simple for our SaaS platform to send e-mails - both from our system to clients, and from our system on behalf of clients (e.g. marketing e-mails). And the API is simple to use and can be integrated in a matter of hours.

The last I reviewed their features, the tools they provide to manage sub-users could be more well developed. We create sub-users to represent each of our clients so that we can track their activity separately. Note: the sub-user feature may be more developed now.

There are a number of ways to send e-mail messages programatically. But SendGrid gives our messaging efforts and sound structure. But probably the greatest benefit is the reporting. For someone who isn't at all familiar with html, creating or modifying some aspects of the email campaigns can be a bit challenging. I've also experienced troubles when it comes to emails getting clipped even when test-emails don't.

The only thing I don't like is not being able to see the history for more than 1 month. I understand there are limitations and also we could keep our own history.

It's very easy to implement SendGrid. I can send emails in just a few minutes. There's multiple ways to implement it into our Laravel applications (SMTP or the API). We integrated with SMTP - the documentation on setting it up was very straightforward. Took less than 30 minutes.

It's difficult to deal with reporting. The reporting tools have change drastically in the past year and a half. I do like the changes you have made, but the amount of data is reduced to just 3 days and it takes longer to pull the data I need. Biggest complaint: Data is only stored for 3 days. I know it costs a lot of money to keep large amounts of data for clients, but I would like to search at least 1-2 weeks of data for a product I pay monthly. Even if it's just basic data (like sends, opens and clicks). I don't necessarily need all of the other data.

We needed to send transactional emails (password reset, purchase receipts and event reminders). We are able to send these email effortlessly.

Sendgrid is not hard to learn, not for marketeers, nor for programmers. If you do not know yet how your email activities will evolve, and have a few programmers near, Sendgrid can be really the flexible tool you need. And the support of sendgrid is really good.

Once you get in a more advanced state as a marketer, you will hit some limits in the system. (but again, with some programmers near you, you can solve most of those limits).

Really annoying the stats report. I can't see it in one display by horizontal and need to scroll it all the time and I have no option to customize it somehow. Also, mailbox providers deliverability report is not useful, would be much better to see top10 mailboxes at the report.
