Forcing me to answer this question when I can't think of anything
I repurpose 1-hour videos into IG reels and YT shorts for clients. Veed makes it easy as it's an additional service I can provide.
You have basically all the elements needed for a Top Quality video
Still to discover, vendors has fulfilled every need when it comes to video creation .Truely amazing
Faster video editing
I like how easy it is to add and style captions in VEED.
I wish I could customize and manipulate the templates.
Primarily captioning
VEED is one of the easiest online tool through which anyone can edit audio, voice over and videos for free. There is also auto subtitle generator which is free to use.
It doesn't give me more video and sound effects options like VN Editor and other video applications. Also should have more tutorial videos on the website for usage of each.
I am able to create short videos for Instagram using Veed. Beacuse it is very simple to use and doesn't require expertise i am consistently creating video content.
I absolutely LOVE using Veed - as a marketer we primarily use it to add captions or edit video content for social media or posted on our websites. I tested several similar products to Veed, and Veed was by far the easiest, most accurate one. Their auto-caption tool is extremely intuitive when it comes to capitalizing and identifying the words, and it even flags transcriptions it isn't confident in so you can quickly jump to it for review. I was also easily able to train 3 other employees in the department with little to no video editing skills, and they immediately adapted to working with the tool. Veed will absolutely be a staple in my arsenal of video editing tools moving forward!
Not many! The interface is super user-friendly and straightforward to understand. Occasionally it can get glitchy or slow, but not enough to interfere with any projects.
We needed to add captions to our social media content and videos on our online training platform in a way that was quick, easy, and wouldn't be time-consuming. Veed auto-captions and puts it in a format that's easy and fast to review. It's also very quick at exporting projects and doesn't crash like similar outside software.
Auto captions are fantastic! I like that I can upload any video length and get captions almost instantly. Most of the time the captions are correct for every word that is said.
There are glitches sometimes. For example, when I edit my subtitles, sometimes they will disappear completely, OR the box where the subtitle is becomes so slender that I cannot click on it to edit.
VEED helps me easily edit, caption, add audio and other features to my videos. I can then use these videos for sharing all over our social media platforms. Most of the time I can work very quickly and download the videos right to my laptop.
I have been impressed by how quick and easy it has been to get familiar with VEED and apply it to my workflow. There have also been a few times when I forgot to add titles or other text in my projects, but was able to add them in after the fact through VEED. Definitely would recommend it.
The only thing that sticks out to me is the color space that VEED uses. It is pretty different from the other editing software I use (Premiere and Final Cut). It exports fine, but while in the software, the color is not accurate.
I use VEED for auto-generating the subtitles for my videos and I am constantly impressed by how quickly and accurately it does so. And when there are discrepancies, it makes it very easy to correct them.
Feature rich and super easy online video editing - that's my summary. Why? Which values are important and relevant for me and my daily work as Content Creator and Microsoft MVP - Video and audio stock library: huge cost saver and very easy to embed - record directly and edit videos: so many steps saved here - transcribe and create subtitles: great designs and especially important for short videos like TikTok - Magic Cut: remove background noise, filler words, silence,... many tools in one single click - template gallery: might need to cancel my Canva account - transform into different channels (e.g. horizontal to vertical) in just one click without need to know resolution details. - clean audio: removes background noise significantly - collaboration: invite others to edit on same project (not easy with other desktop video editing tools) - text to speech: pimp up your videos with new voices and create attention - adding text and images: improve intros and outros, structure chapters better
- editing video inside of transcribed text would be very helpful (like Descript or Premiere Pro Beta)
- collaboration with others on same video project, external sharing - access to audio and video library (which I haven't produced) - my PremierePro Account can't be used on all of my devices, VEED does not limit - speech to text is so easy and included - clean up audio
As an Art Director, I used to have to book time with an in-house editor even to get simple videos made. Since discovering VEED, I can put together quick videos that communicate my ideas myself, which saves loads of time and is way more efficient - especially in a world where we work remotely some of the time. Now, our professional editors can focus on the complex stuff, and I can be more self-sufficient - win, win!
A few more transition options would be helpful, but I am splitting hairs!
Simplifying and speeding up the production of simple videos, that help communicate creative ideas with colleagues.
I like that I can record, edit, and share my video in one tool. I work in sales so sending videos on LinkedIn to potential clients is a big part of my job. Some of my customers are international, so being able to caption my videos is a must. Not having to pay for tools like Rev that charge me by the minute is a relief!
Sometimes translations are not accurate but I guess that's expected when you don't have an actual human doing it for you
I needed a tool to screen record, add subtitles, provide me with ready-to-use-templates, hosting, and the ability to share the videos. I was using about three different tools before. Loom to record, Rev for captions, Google for storing video files, and then YouTube to upload my captioned video so I could get a share link. I can now do this all in one spot with VEED.
