WordPress.com Reviews: 4.4/5 — Solid Choice
Powering more than 43% of all active websites globally, WordPress is arguably the most popular and widely used CMS and website builder used by businesses of all sizes across all industries – from solopreneurs, startups, SMBs, and big Fortune 500 enterprises. Both novice users with no coding knowledge and highly experienced web developers can benefit from WordPress’ long list of features including ready-made yet customizable templates, thousands of easy-to-install add-ons and plugins, built-in and custom-made functionalities, and robust content management features. Highly flexible, WordPress promises its users that they will never outgrow their website built on its ecosystem as it’s easily adaptable as their business needs grow and evolve. WordPress is also downloadable as an app and available to both Android and iOS users enabling marketers and content creators to manage their websites across all devices. WordPress is arguably one of the biggest website builders today. With WordPress, users have the option to use their web host or install WordPress’ own hosting. The latter lets users design and build their blog or online store, and access the Jetpack plugin for improved SEO, as well as security and analytics. Depending on your needs, it’s fairly easy to set up your WordPress site, and maintaining it is even simpler on this platform. You also have the option to install third-party plugins to add more features to your website and boost functionality. WordPress offers a free plan for anyone who wants to try out the service first, but if you want to subscribe, plans start as low as $4 a month for the basic plan.

Easy to set up & Easy to use CMS dashboard. It offers so many plugins for every task that make it more convenient.
Wordpress is not that much speedy as compered to other platforms, and also sometime it is difficult to optimize via coding.
Website Design & Development using Templates & Plugins such as Elementor, Woocommerce etc.
I use WordPress to host my blog. I find it relatively easy to use as someone with no website development experience.
It is hard to get customer support with issues.
WordPress is the site I use to host my blog, so it houses my creative project.
Wordpress.com allows me to use any kind of theme that i like to create blogs where i post my content and also allows me to add google adsense to the website to earn some money
Wordpress.com does not have a tutorial guide for new users and we have to find the tutorial ourselves on youtube and other websites
Wordpress.com allows me to build my own website from scratch by using free themes. I also get some money when people read my blog because wordpress.com allows me to add google adsense to the website
The way WordPress.com offers extended range of free CSS templates is what I like most.
Unfortunately, WordPress.com accomplishes all my desires when managing content online.
It is super easy to create and design websites seamlessly. Also, WordPress.com allows me to design websites at ease.
- very easy to use - integrates well with other tools - trusted, reliable platform - safe and easy to host
Many things require a plugin to achieve. But all plugins are independently owned so you always need to update them as they aren't supported by WordPress. This can cause an issue if something you rely on stops providing updates/bug fixes.
- a place to host our website - a place to add new content (blog, resources etc.) - integrates into our CRM - lead generation from traffic that coms in off the web
The multitude of features that are included or built into your templates to be able to create great content to your "webpage".
Sometimes the content doesn't look appealing to the eye, especially if there are ads in the published material. I wish it meshed better.
None that I am aware. Overall, great product and very user friendly.
WordPress is highly user-friendly and is great for someone who may be new to website building or someone with more extensive experience. The customer service is also wonderful.
Considering that my organization already pays for WordPress, it is discouraging that when an issue arises that requires fixing, additional payment is required to solve the issue.
WordPress is where my business hosts its website, solving the problem of accessibility and transparency for those that are looking for solutions that involve products that we offer.
WordPress is an exceptional website creation platform that stands out for its power and versatility. What I like most is its wide range of functions and its ease of use. With WordPress, I can create a personalized website and adapt to my needs without advanced programming knowledge. The amount of issues and accessories available is impressive, allowing me to give a unique aspect to my site and add additional functionalities with clicks.
Despite all its advantages, there are some aspects of WordPress that I would like to highlight as improvement points. Sometimes, the update of topics and accessories can be a bit complicated, especially if there are incompatibilities with other parts of the site. In addition, the initial learning curve can be steep for users without previous experience on the platform, since the number of options can be overwhelming at the beginning.
WordPress has been fundamental to solving various problems related to creating and administrating my website. Previously, I was limited by predefined templates and the lack of personalized functionalities in other content management systems. With WordPress, I could build a website from scratch and adapt it entirely to my needs, allowing me to transmit the image and message of my brand effectively. In addition, the possibility of integrating specific accessories, such as contact forms or online stores, has dramatically facilitated interaction with visitors and monetization of my site.

Occasional performance due to plug-in or theme bloat.
Performance and security are occasionally a concern. Wordpress is committed to staying on top of these with regular updates.
You can accomplish a lot with WordPress' no-code features without knowing any code. I started building websites with the no-code feature in WordPress before learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Compatibility issues are more likely to arise as you use more plugins. As well as hindering the functionality of your site, frequently updating your site may also cause plugins to stop functioning.
