I like the user interface. The amount of control is very good when you pay for it. I like the features that speed up the uploading process.
There needs to be a middle road price for those of us that only want some of the paid features. Let us pay a month or 6 months at a time..
Without any prior knowledge of the Wordpress interface, I was able to make simple changes to a client's website. Very straightforward design elements.
ITs ready to go, no need to set up databases and setup using a cpanel.
Its standard no way to customize it with plugins or ways to manipulate it the way you would with a manual setup, plus there is a hefty charge to carry a basic site with them.
Wordpress is good for integrating all your sites using jetpack and looking at things like uptime, writing new content and looking at wordpresses internal traffic to those properties without logging into each individual websites back end.
I haven't found anything I am truly head over heels for with Wordpress. It's all very confusing for a small business owner who does not have time to plug this, update this, avatar that.
EVERYTHING. Everyone kept telling me WP is it, it's the new thing, it's where you belong. I've been here for two years and hate it. It's frustrating. My analytics have tanked. I feel like I am working more on my site than my actual work with clients. I cannot tell you how many client forms/web inquiries were "parked" and never made it to my email.
I'm solving problems with my own incompetence to the ever changing digital world. There has to be something easier and affordable for someone like me. I realize I was better off with Vistaprint and Wix. WP makes me put my head on my desk and whimper. One year ago I spent 16 days straight working on this thing,; 18-20 hours a day I sat in my office building this thing. My only benefit was the relief my chiropractor gave me.
There's an endless amount of prebuilt plugins and themes available for WordPress, which can be used to build a site very quickly. Also due to being written in PHP it runs nearly everywhere, which hosting fees often under 5$. Also it's a very reliable system, rather simple, with a great user experience. It has the best user experience of all open source CMS. Security is taken seriously and core updates happen regularly.
Security is the biggest weak spot. WordPress sites often get hacked, nowadays not so often due to issues in the core, but through security issues in plugins by third party developers. Third party developers should step up their security game. It's not easy to sync database data between multiple environments (staging/production) without a plugin.
We use WordPress to build websites for small and medium businesses, which need not a very complex site setup and where existing plugins provide faster development. Through the massive count of plugins and themes, sites can be developed rapidly. Building custom plugins ourselves is quick and easy. Building themes from scratch can be a bit painful, consider using a starter theme. Setup is painless and hosting can be done on any shared hosting environment, costing a few dollars a month, which keeps maintenance costs very low.
easy to use, anyone can setup and optimize
Not as many features as other web hosting solutions, clunky to navigate and make changes to
Web hosting and building
It's ok if you want to get started with a website. A little complicated for the novice but adaptable.
I think there are security issues with it. The large volume of plugins isn't really a plus for me because I don't trust the people who wrote it. So I have to develop my own stuff to make sure i'm safe. There are other options easier to get started with and more secure.

This product was easy to set up and required very little effort to create a new blog and start adding posts. There are also tons of templates available to help customize your site and give it a unique, personal feel.
It's great that there are a lot of plugins and widgets available but they don't all work as advertised, which can lead to a lot of installing, uninstalling, and re-installing to finally get the look and feel that you want. Also as a blogging platform, WordPress is great but as a CMS, it isn't as feature rich as Joomla, Drupal, or some of the other content management systems that are available.

The templates that are there are stunning and everything is customizable. Wordpress is meant to help users make their own site with everything personalized to the way they want it.
Super difficult to use. While the existing templates are amazing, they are really limited if you already have a specific theme or vibe in mind. Getting the cooler functions are eye-catching interaction widgets usually require some knowledge of coding. I made several pages for my own site before my patience ran out and I had to ask someone else to continue the work
Wordpress is somewhat forcing me to learn more coding and computer terms. I also am encouraged to make certain content that I had not originally thought of. They have tutorials that are helpful, although there are a lot to go through.
WordPress is extremely flexible with the use of plugins and custom CSS to set up the page the way you want
It can be really clunky and slow depending on your host and how many plugins you have installed
it allows to keep the store website separated from the content website such as the blog
Wordpress was fun to use at first and the designs we interesting
It was not easy to use at all and it did not fit my companies needs
None
I like that there are multiple choices of plugins to choose from and incorporate.
Wordpress is very complicated and not very user-friendly. Many times there will be a license or something similar that expires and we do not know about it until we randomly realize a portion of our site is not working.
We use WordPress for the front end user content and for blogposts. Incorporating Yoast SEO is a benefit to help optimize pages and posts.
WordPress has an easy to use blogging feature that allows you to quickly create posts that can keep your customers or your fanbase up to date on the happenings at your business like mine
It is an old system and you can barely do something more than a blog, for example for making a shop or an hotel page is more complicated. And the way you can personalize the webpage with themes for me it is not suitable and easy to use
My bussines web page, well it was the first web page devoloper I found and it solved the basic and let me made my page
The option to copy and paste and the formatting options.
The interface is outdated and a little hard to use. It’s kind of slow to click through as we
Reaching more members of the community were targeting is easy and knowing how many are interested is useful.
WordPress is one of the few services i have used that strikes a perfect balance between delivering a sophisticated, professional looking service that is also easy to use to even those who are not tech savvy.
Prices can sometimes appear to expensive, but for many the price is justified by the quality of the product.
Website visitors are impressed with the stunning finish of the website.
It’s pretty basic to use and have an easy interface.
Don’t like the layouts and themes they have for free accounts.
I sell marketing services through MailChimp but leaning towards leaving WordPress for another platform.
Fairly simple user interface, if you are looking for a basic/bare bones website design
Some very complicated aspects if you're trying to insert seemingly simple things like forms and other "widgets", I've found it difficult to get customer support, seems to be buggy
Wordpress is what we use for our website. It is useful only in that we can easily post things for the public.
You have the freedom to create and maneuver the layout as much as you want.
It isn't as user-friendly as I thought it would be. It took a while to maneuver through the site. Side note: Wordpress isn't for someone that doesn't know a little bit of coding.
Wordpress is an effective tool to save companies money if they have a developer or graphic designer that has experience with web design. This will save the company several of thousands of dollars instead of outsourcing a marketing company to handle their website.
Its focus on being a blog, easy to use for writing, name recognition, option to use for free
It is not very pretty, which is very important nowadays. Lack of themes to choose from. Can't use it for any other purposes (portfolio, resume, etc.) because of its structure and focus on being a blog. They should be more versatile if they want to compete in the market of other innovative products.
Communication, blog, journal, publishing. But not much else. Not very intuitive to use.
The fact that it is opensource and the community aroud. Lots of plugin available really the go to solution for a custom blog/website.
This is not for solopreneur with a tight budget. The customization recquires to know a bit of code. Even if there is a lot of template available it is hard for a non techy to figure out the modification necessary without a lot of researchs.
Unfortunatly we weren't able to use it to create the site we want. We swtich to a wyswyg option.
I like that you can post many types of media on the page along with updates.
I dislike some aspects that are not user friendly.
