WordPress gives you freedom. Do whatever you want, however you want, they don't care. As is the case with any open-source software, there is lot of freedom in terms of use case and purposes. Besides WordPress is extremely customizable and modifable based on your use cases. As a programmer, I am able to edit the very core level files with ease. There is no penalty or ban for editing files. Infact it is encouraged to modify things. Apart from that, it is meant to keep everyone happy. So, many no-code solutions exist to keep everyone happy. WordPress boasts one of the most versatile page builders called Elementor, love it. There highly engaging and helpful online-community remains unbeatable.

The best and the worst feature of WordPress is its open-source nature. Being open makes it highly flexible. But that also means its extremely vulnerable. Theres a huge market of poorly coded plugins and malicious code that can literally break entire site in few lines. Outdated plugins and incompatability with certain PHP versions are again a known issue for them.

WordPress allows me to scale up by business and create quality blog without having the hassle of coding and maintaining everything. Sure, I can write my own code and create custom solutions wherever necessary, but WordPress ensures that I am never reinventing the wheel. The off-the-shelf plugins and tools in WordPress are good enough for majority of the use cases of an average user.

First thing I love about this is it is FREE. It is easy to use and I have been using this CMS for the last 10 years. This is very powerful CMS with support for custom themes and plug-ins. Most of the plug-ins and themes are free and if you want more features you can buy premium versions. This required minimum training and most of the contributors to our website used it with an ease. If your team has a technical guy with some knowledge in installing the this CMS, it will save money for you. It is easy to learn the administration and installation of this CMS.

This is a wonderful product, my only complaint about this product is when we use plug-ins with the CMS, it may slow down your website. If there is a mechanism to solve this issue, this would be a very good product.

Plugins are sometimes not updated but not removed. I think WordPress should remove outdated plugins that don't work with them

We love using wordpress to host our website and use as an editing platform. I have worked with other platforms like GoDaddy and Wix and none provide ease of use like WordPress.

I dislike the aspect of theme installation from the begin, bacause u have to follow the theme installation documentation to understand how the theme would start working properly.
