WordPress.org Reviews: 4.4/5 — Solid Choice

I love WordPress.org because it provides users with a blank canvas, if you will, to design, build, and hosts websites that express their own creative visions and allow for the independent execution and management of those websites.

I wouldn't say there is anything I necessarily "don't like" about WordPress.org, however, there are several elements that require constant updates including new versions of WP itself, themes, plugins and extensions, etc.

I have used/recommended WordPress.org for websites that my consulting firm design and develop for clients for over 10 years - It is our go-to CMS solution and we try to advise clients that are prone to website builders like Squarespace and Wix.

There is very little I dislike about Wordpress, I really have to think about this one.... Still thinking.... Nope sorry, in all honestly there is nothing about Wordpress that I don't like.

The best thing about Wordpress.org is free to use and it's easy to handle every kind of website, even if it's simple blogging, company websites, or even e-commerce everything we can handle easily in WordPress.org

The only thing I dislike about WordPress.org is the dependability of many plugins which leads to the website speed slow other than that its the best platform to start with your any type of business.

The main problem with other platforms is paid-in use, but with WordPress.org we can use all its features by not giving a single penny. So it's easy to handle I would recommend it to everyone who starts their journey in a digital world.

Its free, its easy, its handy, the wide range of plugins, security updates

The slowness sometimes with some plugins but this should be due to 3rd party plugins

Since it's the most popular and fastest growing platform we get solutions to problems easily. There are many third-party developers and plugins to extend its functionalities

Hackers target WorPress because of its large user base. It's tough to impliment hackproof security. And when we install more plugins the platform becomes slow and less stable

Custom made websites are difficult to develop and maintain. WordPress has its own backend dashboard to manage the content which makes our customers manage the content on their own.

The size of the marketplace of templates. It is incredible and provides a lot of different options for different types of sites and goals.

I would like an easier integration with Google Analytics.

It's not highly secure and someone can easily hack it. Most of the themes and features of Wordpress are not free.

El constructor de bloques Gutenberg integrado es complicado de utilizar para quien se pone por primera vez a crear páginas web necesitando una curva de aprendizaje mayor que otros constructores como Divi o Elementor que son más gráficos de utilizar.

Pues que es gratuita, de codigo abierto y que con minimos conocimientos de informatica podras instalarla y hacerla funcionar en muy poco tiempo. Es el CMS mas utilizado del mundo y cuenta con mas de 12000 diseños a elegir. Puedes integrarlo con un monton de plataformas, con lo que las posibilidades son infinitas. Es el que uso desde ahce años y no lo cambiaria.

Pues el tema de que tengas que estar actualizando temas y pluggings cada poco es un poco pesado. Aunque algunos los puedes automatizar. Por lo demas, me parece totalmente recomendable si quieres crear una web profesional con muy pocos recuersos.

Me ayuda mucho en el diseño de webs. Yo vengo del dreamwearver y flash y cuando cambie a esta plataforma hace años fue un avance brutal. He podido diseñar webs mas profesionales y en menos tiempo que con los programas antes citados. Ademas las integraciones que tiene con Woocomerce, Mailchimp, Stripe, etc, etc... multiplican por 5 sus posibilidades.

In Wordpress everything is modular. Whatever we need we can simply seatch for related plug in and we can embed them in our requirement. It is opensource, so we can modify according to our need.

Lo que no me gusta de WordPress es que no te ofrece una capa de seguridad contra ataques de bots o malware. Podría ser mejor si ofreciera ese tipo de seguridad, sin necesidad de recurrir a un plugin extra y de paga.

Las constantes actualizaciones están ayudando a prevenir el ataque de hackers y algunos plugin que contienen virus. Además, también están revisando los plugin que se encuentran en el repositorio y que no se encuentren probados con la versión actualizada de WordPress.

Gosto da versatilidade que o Wordpress.org nos fornece, praticamente qualquer funcionalidade que eu quero, instalo um plugin e resolveu. Obviamente que não é só isso, posso inserir scripts de códigos para ir além das funcionalidades de um plugin Também é ótimo para praticamente qualquer tipo de site: institucional, blog, landing pages, sites dinâmicos, ecommerces, e assim por diante!

Talvez eu diria o suporte do Wordpress, creio que hoje seja via fórum, então isso acaba meio que limitando o acesso ao suporte
