Simple and easy to use platform to create website and update it. Lots of addins which enables to build simple websites without coding.

Nothing to dislike about the system. Haven't tried other CMS so cannot tell the differences.

WordPress is so easy to use! I really feel comfortable using this program. Creating posts, editing posts & pages, scheduling posts--all of it is great!

Not much to dislike! If I had to pick, I would say maybe how often posts get saved? This is super nitty gritty because WordPress already saves post drafts pretty quick but faster is always better.

WordPress helps my company create effective blog posts for our audience. I especially appreciate the ability WordPress gives me to see my audience and post when it is most likely to be seen.

WordPress has a long history and great depth of features that makes it a great choice for a flexible content management system.

Steep requirements for maintaining frequent security patches, and verifying that updates haven't broken website functionality.

Great even for a novice. Our site was created in Wordpress with success after failing on othe platforms. And our employees can manage it!

Some of the challenges in a small organization include issues with general knowledge and language, however we haven't found this to be a true setback.

I love how easy it is to publish a blog, a podcast, or other forms of media!

It's harder to get an RSS feed, but not bad.

I needed a good RSS feed, and to publish blogs surrounding the content.

Thanks to WordPress, designing websites it fast and easy. I can have sites done for clients in a day instead of spending hours and hours writing code. Thanks to WordPress, I am able to give my clients any type of site they like. With WordPress they can easily have a shop, a course, a membership site, a blog, and all with amazing SEO.

There are some themes and plugins that are not created by WordPress that can be a bit complicated to configure and set up.

My packages for web design and development are created with WordPress websites in mind. I have even created a DIY WordPress course for my clients so they can learn to build a site themselves.

I can get around the dashboard easily, and I've learned with a minimum of learning curve, how to do the basic updates and changes I've needed.

A couple of times, my site has been vulnerable to hacking, due to not updating fast enough. There should be better security.

Having a website is ESSENTIAL. I have great Google rankings, and traffic. That is instrumental to my success.

Once you get the hang of it, posting blogs and organizing your site is easy and looks nice even without knowledge of website design or coding.

It's not ulintuitice, so It takes some getting used to and if not using regularly need to remember the steps for posting and updating.

What's not to like? It's an amazing way to set up your website. I set up my author website using it, and I've helped others do the same.

Once I got an agent, I needed to put up an author website and blog up in a month. With Wordpress, I did it in less than a week. There are some fantastic templates here, and plenty of support in the form of videos and aritcles. You can't go wrong with WordPress. I'd originally used their free software to do a blog, but I switched over to the full software when I purchased my website. So I had some experience, but not a whole lot. Love the integration with social media, and it took about 5 minutes for me to figure out how to incude my twitter feed on the home page. Haven't done a whole lot with plugins yet, but will as I move forward. I especially love the SEO optimization with blog posts. You can check on your dashboard to get hints on how to improve SEO.

I love that over the years not too much has changed with its interface. I tend to jump back on and off it through out the years and its just easy to use.

Sometimes the apps just don't work properly. I had an issue with a contact form app and never got it fixed or worked out. Also I wish they would get better free layouts.

I really like using Wordpress because you don't have to undersatnd code to use it, but you can use html when you do understand it, too.

Sometimes one plugin can screw up the entire back-end and live version. It's not always easy figuring out which one has caused the problem.

I love the ability to create my own blog. It is easy to use and completely free! It is also very easy to make your blog anonymous or share your blog with friends, family, or coworkers!

It takes a little while to get yourself familiar with how to use WordPress. You have to play around with it for a little while to learn how to really customize your online blog.

We have used WordPress.org to create student blogs about novels they read.

I started my blog with Wordpress and there could not have been a better platform. I absolutely love this platform as it is very customisable and easy

The need for regular theme and plugin updates, database backups, and Wordpress version updates. It does require a bit of maintenance.

Wordpress allows non-technical users to add content to our blogs and microsites easily. New features can be added easily with plugins, rather than having to develop a custom solution.

Wordpress helps our company write the best copy for our website and other online marketplaces so that our product descriptions get the most hits using key words.

There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about Wordpress so far.

This program has made finding the correct key words seamless.

The ease of templates and widgets and being able to change and convert them to my needs.

I wish their Jetpack was more in depth, more data, pertaining to the people who are visiting the website. Their basic templates aren't that great so usually I source it through other companies.

I am currently using it as the program that runs all my websites. I was referred to it by a graphic designer stating that wordpress is the most user friendly and easy to manage if you are new to the website design world and also blogger friendly as well.

Nothing really! Have never had any problems with it and I've always been able to do what I want with it.

We recently transferred all our websites into WordPress because it's so much more user friendly than other CMS. We can now edit pages with ease and improve their look.

I love the "interface" it's really user-friendly. No need of a bif formation to understand how it works and there's a lot of things you can do by yourself.

I wish there would be more custom personnalisation

I do not dislike much about WordPress, but sometimes it won't let you move on to the next stage in the process of designing a website. It is an annoying bug that I hope gets fixed soon.

We are able to reach out to customers and build websites for our products using WordPress.org. It is incredibly easy to create a website and is inexpensive. I don't like some of the limitations that come with certain features on the back end. It seems like it could be a bit more customizable within some of the smaller more complex features as your website grows, but working within the structure is limiting at times.

We have a professional looking website even though we don't have a full-time web developer. Instead, we can share the role of web development amongst multiple coworkers.

The use of multimedia items can be very limited. Gifs and other media does not converge well with the platform

I use WordPress for a work-blog. It is incredibly easy to maneuver. I have the free subscription and enjoy how sleek and contemporary the layouts out.

I wish .pdfs could upload like an image.

WordPress is tried and trusted, with millions of website installs, I know that it will be solid and secure enough for almost any client. With a HUGE range of plugins to choose from, it can be adapted to almost any kind of website, from one-page product promo, to e-commerce, to organizational blog. WordPress has been designed from the ground up for maintainability, and also ease-of-use for non-technical people. And of course, since the software itself is free, the price is right.

If what you're doing requires custom plugin development, it's a bit difficult to do development using TDD. The tools have been advancing, but it's still a lot easier in some other environments.

I provide websites for individuals and small businesses. My clients are interested in having minimal involvement in managing their websites, and mainly are interested in maintaining an online presence that will support their main business without being too much work.

The WordPress platform is very versatile and basically easy to learn -- composing about 25% of all websites on the internet, the choice is simple!

Some of the tweaking can be a bit technical but there are literally 1000s of WordPress experts available to help!
