I have been using WordPress for about 13 years, and the core functionalities are still there, allowing a beginner on an expert to create his own website, blog, community with ease. On top of that, the thousands plugins (free or paid) make your website complete. As written in the title, I owe a lot to WordPress and especially to the active community that constanly updates the platform.
This I disliked in the past are not current, for example there were some periods that WordPress had numerous database tables that did not allow you to freely play with the tables. In any case, this is the past and things are way much better now.
Website development, blogs, quick communities. Wordpress allow you to build your own powerful website without the need of code knowledge.
Easy already given templates- no coding/ developer needed so it will save you a lot of time and money! Great layouts to give your company a ready to use website-very user friendly and very easy to use as an admin. They also have many plugins and ways to make your blog/website look more unique and exciting.
Websites can look basic and not as attention-catching without plugins. It is a basic level website so it can look this way.
You can create a website for a company in seconds. You will just need to design the layout from already coded layouts. If you don't have a website in this day and age, then your business will suffer and people will not trust your business as much or even know about it entirely. If you don't have the money or resources to create your own website on your own this is the perfect tool to use!
Once you figure out what you are doing, wordpress is pretty user friendly. You definitly need some knowlege of more in-depth website setup but most that are willing to learn can get started on the basics pretty quickly.
There isnt really much i dislike. Your really only limited by your imagination and coding skills.
Wordpress allows you to push past the basic builder website and create a turly unique website that is customized for you.
I like how it is very customizable. Once you get used to the layout of the website. As for the app, it's fantastic! I found it really intuitive, loads quickly and is easy to use.
The app is quite large. A high capacity phone is a must to get the best experience.
I have started my own blog and it has surprisingly taken off! If I can get a larger following, it could even solve another problem and make me more money but one step at a time right?
I can create web pages with a very professional look, each tool must be studied previously to be able to do a good job. We don't need to worry about style or originality in every project because WordPress.org guarantees creativity. Websites can be shared internally and externally.
I couldn't configure it by myself, I had to communicate with the support, it took a while but I could solve the error. Saving finished projects can be a bit confusing.
We work with WordPress.org to save costs on projects that need a lot of investment, we have not had any problems with any client, they are always happy with the websites we make for them. We have everything with WordPress.org working perfectly.
WordPress's layout just makes sense. As an SEO Specialist, I'm in the back ends of my clients' sites a lot and WP is by far the best in terms of layout, usability, and functionality. I specifically like how responsive and easy it is to add/edit content. I also like that all tools are neatly organized and in one place. Lastly, WP supports all of the plugins I've ever wanted to integrate into sites.
The Gutenberg update took a little getting used to, and I don't like certain things about it but overall makes sense and is user friendly enough.
It is the easiest and most organized way to manage all of your site's content. I have clients who have switched to WP from other CMSs and the ease of adding pages/editing existing ones is evident. It also is much more user-friendly, so the clients themselves can go in and add pages on their own time.
Los plugins que tiene Wordpress son los mejores, ya que son demasiados, si necesitas algo ten por seguro que lo vas a encontrar en los plugins de wordpress. Me encantan.
We are using a WordPress template which limits what functionality we can take advantage of (for example I can't download plugins) but makes updating our website super speedy. It also provides for a uniform web presence for all 42 of the libraries in our library system. I've used WP in the past without the template and loved it then. I still love it. The template just makes it even faster and easier to update our website. Having the ability to add a landing page is really going to come in handy in the future. I also like the ability to make changes using html if that's the only way I can see to accomplish something.
WordPress is meeting our needs. I don't have any complaints.
We're communicating with our audience in a timely way, accepting donations, and sharing our program calendar. I recently enabled Google Analytics, and the data it's providing is awesome.
What I like about WordPress is you have so many options to use to create a blog, websites or anything you want to make.Very friendly interface and easy to use
What I dislike in WordPress is it's security because WordPress is an open source website.Second thing I dislike is you need to install lots of additional plugins
WordPress make it very easy to create blogs, websites especially. You can finish your work on time
The ease of use. Very intuitive UI for all levels of expertise.
It's difficult to make changes to existing templates.
Create an online meeting pace for my listeners. Place to store all my shows and promote my guests.
I like that there are a variety of plugins you can use to create the website you need.
Some things aren’t as intuitive as I would like.
I used Wordpress to easily create websites for clients. The benefits of Wordpress is that it is the main platform that many use so it’s always easy to customize the site.
Well it's free and for the most part of it you can add your own touch to your page and really make it your own. There are many templates available and help available also it's great for budding artists and designers alike.
Sometimes you run into a few issues but nothing that isn't easily fixed. I'm happy overall as are a few others I have recommended to.
I'm getting more traffic through this to my online shops on Facebook and Instagram. People are ordering my jewellery and it's made lockdown quite enjoyable.
It is the best tool to build website we can create blogs and the best part is any type of website can be created with it very easily
the dislike is that need to update plugin each time otherwise security issue comes
it solved me the problem of creating the website there are various benefits we can create any type of website very easily no coding skill required
I like the features that are offered and also the possibilities of what you can do with it. The plugins give you a variety of options and you can empower your website in so many ways.
For beginners the layout and all the menu options can be overwhelming, but it is only a matter of time and they will get used to it.
Some of my clients did not have a website and Wordpress have allowed them to build a very good website and consequently they were able to drive more traffic to it and get more customers visiting their stores.
Without touching code we can easily develop a website on WordPress. WordPress provides an easy to use intuitive interface from which we can easily add new posts, pages, and images. The best thing about WordPress that I like is it is very secured since it releases a new version frequently by fixing the bugs as well as adding new features.
To add new features we need to install a lot of plugins but installing plugins increase the loading time and makes the website slow. I need to frequently login to the WordPress dashboard to see if themes and plugins installed on my website need to be updated. WordPress core software is very secured but there is a high risk of vulnerability in third-party themes & plugins. I might lose content if I update the WordPress version without installing a backup plugin.
I have started my blogging journey with Google's Blogger tool where I was limited to few features. I tried different ways to remove the date from the post's permalink in Blogger but I couldn't do it. WordPress solved my problems by providing permalink settings where I can structure permalink in different ways. With WordPress, I can customize my website and make changes easily. WordPress provides a lot of customization features as well as I can modify the WordPress admin dashboard adding my own custom features too.
It allows someone with little experience to take advantage of adequate tools to make a brochure website. It also allows developers to create advanced websites by using many tools that can save a lot of time for them. There some interesting developments that help you adjust website creation to your specific needs. For example, you could use page builders like Elementor or Beaver Builder, to make a beautiful brochure website; or you could use Advanced Custom Fields and Advanced Forms to develop more advanced websites.
Some plugins are not to be trusted. The solution is making sure to select the right plugins and the smallest amount of plugins possible. There are some things to be taken care of even before starting, like choosing the right web hosting, or it can be insecure or become slow.
We have several brochure websites, used to promote services with publicity. We are also running our ESL institute absolutely online.
Wordpress is without a doubt the best CMS I have used to create websites quickly and effectively. It is relatively easy to use, however over the years its interface and functionalities have changed and it has become a bit more complex to use. One of its greatest advantages is that we can download it completely free from its official site and we can use it without restrictions. It is surprisingly easy to install, you just have to follow very few steps and in a matter of minutes we would have a system ready to start creating a blog or any website. I have been using Wordpress for more than five years and it is still my favorite CMS. It has thousands of plugins that we can add to our site improving different functionalities, it also has many free themes with great designs that adapt to any type of business. On the other hand, we can also buy plugins and themes and in this way we can greatly improve the operation and visual aspect of our website. Wordpress is constantly updated and for this reason it always brings improvements in security, design interface and other functionalities.
Sometimes we need to edit your own code to be able to make specific modifications within an installed theme, and this is a bit complex because its source code is not easy to understand, especially if you do not have programming experience. On the other hand, it is one of the CMS that constantly suffers more hacker attacks
In all my years of experience with Wordpress I have been able to develop from small blogs and simple websites, to complex websites with complex functionalities. We can also create online stores if we install the Woocomerce plugin. I love using Wordpress for my projects because it saves me a lot of work time
the ability to manage and administer the website
There should be more filter regarding the plugins offered on the platform
In addition to the creation by a web master, the greatest benefit that I find as a social communicator is the ease in managing the site from my knowledge
It is easy to use and has a lot of nice templates.
Some of the better templates require an upcharge...
Wordpress powers our company website! We have a customized site and get great support.
