It offers an integrated email marketing platform that is ideal for small to mid-sized companies. The software also has an easy-to-use dashboard designer with a good marketing automation workflow builder.

Ease of Use, Simple, Better Than Excellent Technical Support. The feeling of confidence when I use the app. I am accustomed to appearance and responses to keyboard inputs. Tech support is excellent, but unavailable after working hours or on weekends. I like AMA, Act Marketing Automation. However, the learning curve is steep. I am still looking for a replacement app that is easier to use. But I have not yet found one that does give me the confidence I feel with ACT! So I am abandoning trials of two more highly rated CRM/marketing automation apps today. I am expecting a consultation with a G2 advisor later today, and I may try more apps that may be recommended. But I am put off by the misleading introductions to the trial apps that make me feel less trusting of them. When they talk about customization I get the idea that the app is more of a do it yourself opportunity to have to learn way more than I care to and knowledge that they should already have to offer the product.
No Dislikes Presently. But would technical help 24 hours. When I call for reasons other than tech support sometimes no one answers. Expand the bid functionality. As I recall, the bids could be best prepared by a template for the opportunities. Make it possible to prepare bids from the opportunity ACT! training videos are pretty good, but they could be excellent with more effort. The trainer is excellent, but I want more of all. ACT! should give him a new contract to prepare and publish more training videos.
Tracking email campaigns. contact details, using groups effectively. Staying on top of day to day activities as well as longer range goals.

ACT provides some of the most straightforward tools when it relates to CRM. I have no trouble making new contacts, setting appointments, and calling my clients. This tool is beneficial if you have an extensive network of contacts. I currently have over 2500 contacts, and because of ACT's alarm feature, which alerts me to important meetings or phone calls, I never forget to call or email anyone. Additionally, I can program an email to be sent on particular anniversaries or when the patient's AMC is going to renew.
Starting in 2020, ACT has transferred all of its products to the cloud, even for the CRM is no longer accessible offline. This represents a worry for a business that takes data safety extremely seriously. We are still utilizing the early draft of offline CRM since we don't want company knowledge to be kept in another nation. An internet solution ought to be less expensive, yet the price has drastically increased in the case of ACT. It undoubtedly provides portability, but not at the expense of information security.
The program well maintains your customer experience knowledge. However, if you change computers, you must purchase their new application. This business does everything in its power to mistreat its clients.
The ability to have every client at your fingertips, along with a detailed history of every meeting and/or activity, is monumental to the proper professional management of prospects and clients. ACT! has always been the main focal point of my business relationship process to ensure that I can be up-to-date and relevant and stay ahead of my marketing, sales and support communications with my prospects and clients. The program is extremely easy to use and has always continued to improve and fine-tune the performance and benefits. I also use Handheld Contact to keep the synchronization between my mobile device and my computer up to date. I have used ACT! from the very first day of its' launch back in April of 1987 and will continue to be a loyal user.
Very few items come up that cause me to be concerned or frustrated with ACT!. After using this incredible program for over 35 years, When I see that there are some areas that might need some updating or possibly new capabilities that need to be added, it seems that they are included in one of the future updates that come along.
Complete and accurate details of every prospect and client that I work with, as well as all of my agents across the country that work with me. I never have the challenge of not having the details or contact information that I need as well as what phase a person is in within my sales process or training process.
I love the simplicity of Act, and the fact I can customize most anything. It's easy to use, and it's a clean interface. The support team is AMAZING!!
Downside, is sometimes i need to purchase outside add-on's to get the result that make me more efficient. Some elements I can not customize, and it adds a bit of work. The marketing automation part has never worked on my system, and we've not uncovered a solution.
ACT is my main CRM software, and keeping track of daily activities is crucial. I love the activity feature.
It works, straight out of the box, and requires minimal configuration and no programming experience. It's also quite fast! No additional expenses for consultants are needed.
At the time we used it, there was no cloud option and no app. We used VPN and Terminal Services to give our distributed workforce access. This presented problems for those thousands of miles away.
We used it as our CRM database, where we logged phone, email, and mailings contact with each customer. It allowed everyone, from sales to technical, to see the history of the customer before contacting them.
Working with ACT, I have my entire sales database at my fingertips. I can see the history of the account. This will prepare me for a call or a meeting, as well as keynotes that I will need. The goal is the meeting and sale to be successful. I can coordinate multiple task lists to make sure that they are completed in the timely manner that was promised to the customer.
Sometimes speed is an issue, but that depends on the device or WiFi I am running with.

You can have everything organized and easy to Access. I love the fact you have different tabs to navigate through the website and the app.
There isn't a whole lot I dislike; I wish it were a little easier to search for specific tools.

Act! enables me to keep all information about customers, prospects, colleagues and vendors in one place and manage them easily. I also really appreciate the reminders - no more having to remember to call someone back!
Aside from some small things, the only thing I don't like is that I haven't taken the time to learn more about what Act! can do and how I can do it. As for the small things, I wish that, when entering a name to search for, the search is very specific. It'd be nice to have a more forgiving search ("similar to"). Also, if it doesn't find the name, it'd be nice if it would simply say, "Create new contact with this info?"
I was wasting a lot of time trying to find information. Now I know it's all in Act! And it's searchable.
