La facilidad para crear aplicaciones a partir de ideas
La carga de datos a veces es un poco lenta o pierde algunos datos guardados
Me ayudó a entender que a partir de ideas se puede generar una aplicación sin requerir de códigos de lenguajes. Me ayudó a organizar mis libros comprados, leídos, deseados.
The flexibility and several functions available
Understand structure of data in the sample application and change to actual requirements
BAr code reading, data handling, collaboration with colleagues
modular, intuitivo y muchos ejemplos para utilizar.
me gustaría que hubiese un tutorial de ayuda en español y no solo en ingles.

It’s capacity to create anything from easy to complicated tasks
Lack of drag and drop layout features on it
Creating two different apps without barriers
I am a programmer and sometimes which I could write my own routines, but I must say that I am thoroughly pleased with using Appsheet for my tasks. The feature I like the most is the"WYSIWYG" I used to hate writing code, compiling just to see what happens. With Appsheet the results are right before you!
No way to create custom routines to manipulate the data.
The problem I am solving with Appsheet is "how to get the App into the EndUser hands" and Appsheet makes this process very simple, intuitive and straight forward! Well I have developed several App but only showcased one and my manager was very thrilled about it.
Appsheet is a simple, flexible and fast way to develop apps
Enterprise pricing seems steep. We ended up developing an app in house to use across the enterprise rather than paying the yearly price for enterprise license.
Data collection in the field
Initially when I fist stated off I was completely at a loss. The user interface as well as the functionality was mind blowing and a bit intimidating. After a week of struggling and about ready to give up they reach out to me with guidance. I then started using the community which was unbelievably willing to help and help fast. A great bunch of people over there in both Appsheet and their users. I was able to complete a full suite of Apps during my off time in less than a month.
Not much to dislike as of yet. Maybe after a few more months of use I can find a flaw.
We were able to streamline out onboarding for clients which can be daunting to keep up with. It has made the process much easier and "Fun" might I dare to say.
Automation. So much work can be automated by simply building the rules in an appsheet app.
It's kind of an upside as well: not being able to customize the interface down to very specific detail. But that's what makes it nice. You just focus on functionality and not so much on how it looks.
Repetitive tasks never having to be done before. Real Time monitoring of workload and work progress. Work Forecasting Employee Analytics Time clock Customer interaction Employee Scheduling Customer Scheduling And the list goes on and on.
Ease of use without much knowledge of computers
No direct customer service to lower level paying customers
I use to have to collect hard copies of our dive teams dive logs. This was crazy hard and difficult to complete. Also as the team gets younger they want quick access to filling out forms. They also don't want to deliver information in person they want it all seamless which the app does.
How I can turn a google sheets form in an elegant, well working, user friendly app. It can be used offline, by all our volunteers on the field simultaneously, we find no difficulty in explaining how it works, it is readily installed and employed, I feel that my needs are well met.
I can't login through my google account when using AppSheet on my phone because Google doesn't recognize the app as secure to login, and thus I can't access my account to edit my app from a mobile device, only from my computer. It would be really necessary to fix this bug because it can be a big problem when working outside of the office. In addition, I find some terms and phrasings on the website difficult to understand, this being a no code app, I imagine the purpose is for non-engineers and people with little experience in the field to be able to make their app and thus it might be good to simplify the wording, in the troubleshooting section as well. In addition, I tried to use AppSheet with google forms last month but for some reason the google forms plugin wasn't working. At the time I tried installing the plugin again, changing the google sheets, log in through different accounts, nothing worked. Because there was some urgency, I wasn't able to fix the problem or to ask for help in time and so I had to give up on using AppSheet. This makes the service unreliable in my eyes and makes me want to look for a provider where I'm absolutely sure it'll work efficiently and quickly, as soon as I need a new app set up. Maybe it would be best to have a path on the AppSheet website where you can upload or link your google form in someway, in case the plugin on google sheets doesn't work. Also, I think the system to build your app directly on the AppSheet website, without using the google forms is really difficult to understand and use for people whose main role isn't coding apps. This means that, for me at least, every time I have a new project I have to rebuild the app from scratch through a google forms, instead of just using the formatted app I already have and just changing its content via a new google form.
I am doing a vision screening program for children in schools that gathers good-quality data in a secure and reliable way. My processes have become less time consuming, more organized and AppSheet has allowed me to control tightly and almost in real-time what is happening on the field. It is truly very valuable to me and I am thankful for the good servie AppSheet provides.
I can quickly gather data into a Google Sheet. As our education world becomes more data-informed, this is a great tool for educators!
I stumble when I am setting up the tables and the interface, but that's mostly due to my lack of programming skills.
Collecting data quickly and organizing it an easy to digest manner.
permette la creazione di app mobili senza conoscenze di programmazione
non c'è nulla che non mi piace di questo programma
nessuno
How it is easy to build an app starting with your own data. People dont necessary need to know how to code to build an app with Appsheet. How it easy integrate two source of data. Even with a free plan you are able to build strong applications with personal data.
The layout sometimes is to restricted. Should have a Dinamic Chart. Should have tools to make your own app logo, instead of just offer a few options.
I developed an entire project at my company using mostly appsheet. The project is now aligned to industry 4.0 concepts and has improved the reliability of the process. The process that was once made using paper, now is totaly digital. An integration of three different Apps (Conected to the same table) control and store some precious data. I have also made an App that manage Maintenance schedule. At the personal use, I made an app to control my personal cash flow.
Appsheet has proven to be an amazing platform to generate custom made tools, easily and with great quality of end product. For every Excel user will be very easy to adopt it (and if you are not excel user don worry, its really really friendly).
Perhaps the fact i need to predownload another app...but not really an issue.
Im generating an app to retrieve geolocated data from the market. Additionally all the data gathered has been linked with MS Power BI dashboard, making in a few days a really pro development with less money than the needed to buy a lunch at Mc Donalds...
how easy to to skip the most difficult part of making an app
so far not much, i'd do more tutorials about the functions,
have a stable and funcional app for mutiples needs, replacing manual spreadsheets
Flexibility in building custom systems accessible on any device. Light years ahead of building systems in Excel! Being able to connect the system to Google sheets for a database, makes things really easy.
Some minute details of the build were not immediately clear in the instructions, took some digging to find.
Created an inventory app for giving remote workers access in real-time. Reduced expenses by selling more odd inventory internally.
All the new features that are added and the support in the community is really helpful. Also most recently the Appsheet academy is good. I also love the way I can edit and prototype an app without spending too much time learning the basics of programming. The info helps us to adjust for any given errors. In conclusion, I want to improve all of my customer's operations, so they can achieve operational excellence.
To get the expression functionality easily. should have like Excel many examples of how to use each expression. There are some but it could be bonified.
The problem is the handwritten forms that take a lot of time to extract and then analyze. I'm proposing a 4.0 revolution solution for managing OHS in small to large-cap businesses.
I like the no-code approach to create a professional looking app and the easy management of external data (e.g. GSheet) . Important for me is also the offline use, geocoding with map integration, integration of QR code scanning, and image capture functionality. A big plus is that the data live in the cloud, and also that the app is cross plattform , and that the mobile app resides in Appsheet and not a separate app, thus circumventing the app store / play store.
Can get expensive with many users when paying on a per user base, in particular if the amount of users varies.
I needed an easy to use mobile app to record date and locality data in the field, and an app that allows me to have full control over the app and the data without being a programmer. Have been trying to use ODK and if you know it then you know what I mean.
Ability to create distinct view types, and structured mobile access to data
It is thankless to complain about such an outrageously cool service, but I find it can be hard to track down errors. Like, if I am making an app on a free account, that means -- necessarily -- that I don't want any functions unavailable at that level. I shouldn't have to track those down and turn them off.
Tons of benefits. I've improved my communications with my family on shopping and chores, I've given myself the ability to better manage my time and priorities at work, and I've helped multiple families track the driving experience of their children. Applications are endless.
Creating elegant and functional data collection apps has never been so fast and easy. In less that one hour you can create a simple app. Whatever you can imagine you can probably create it with the help of AppSheet, from collecting data on the field, to register your food experiences, or to keep track of your books, and to whom did you lend them, to make sure you never loose one book again. All you need to start is a Google Sheet document, which you turn into a database for the app (and there are other database alternatives for more advanced / demanding users too). Brilliant!
Starting the app on the mobile device was a little annoying, as it would always asks for verification to access the Google account. But it is much easier nowadays.
