Our content team LOVES how Clearscope surfaces all relevant terms that we should be including for a particular SEO query, ensuring that our content piece is as competitive as possible. We also love being able to "grade" content drafts and see how competitive different iterations are in terms of length, keywords, etc. The Google docs plug-in is also EPIC, empowering us to leverage the tool's capabilities within our existing workflow.
I really don't have any criticisms here!
We're making smarter content decisions with Clearscope. Anyone can perform keyword research, but Clearscope fills in all the blanks in terms of user intent, relevant terms, length, content type, etc. to ensure that you're operating as strategically as possible when creating content for your business.
Stellar results, onboarding education, upgrade to our content creation process.
We've been using SEO tools for the best number of years and this one has been incredibly helpful to provide a grade to our content and helping improve each piece from a writing perspective. I can't think of anything that is negative, we use this for many of our clients!
We are solving the issue of measuring the content that we write compared to other content that is already written for the specific keyword/phrase that we want to get traction around. When looking for SEO and content opportunities, historically, there has been lots of guess about results. Clearscope has helped us move forward with more confidence and get results.
I could say a LOT of great things about Clearscope, but my favorites are the Google Docs plugin and highlighting for relevant keywords to include. I love being able to see my "grade" as I write and drive it all the way up to A++! It's also very useful for developing an outline and estimating an appropriate length for an article.
I haven't run into many snags at all. Every time I've had a question or an issue, Clearscope's team has been quick to respond. It works pretty flawlessly, and I've been using it for about a year already.
As a managing editor for a content-driven website and owner of a content creation firm, it can be a nightmare to come up with prompts for writers to create SEO-rich content. Clearscope took a huge amount of that stress off, making work that used to take hours done in minutes. In many of our clients' cases, it's been one reason our content ranks high in Google search (which, of course, is the point!) One less obvious benefit is that it helps me see where I'm aiming for a keyword that's not a good fit, like if the best type of response isn't actually an article.
Clearscope has been a great asset for your team and especially writers. The sharable links + GDoc integration allows them to not go outside of their usual workflow, but still, keep SEO top of mind. The platform is fast and very user-friendly.
Most of my needs/wants apparently are on the roadmap so dislikes really. The team has been awesome at handling communications.
Integrating SEO into Content Marketing efforts seamlessly.
We use Clearscope in two ways: 1) To create content for our clients—SaaS and tech companies, 2) To support our clients' in-house content teams with their content creation efforts Clearscope is a great extension of our team and integrates seamlessly with the in-house content teams of our clients. It is easy to use and thus anyone—without having to be tech-savvy—can use it for content creation or update. With Clearscope's Share Report for Google Docs, we can have anyone create a piece based on Clearscope's recommendations, without having to sign up for the product or sign in to an account. Also, and this is very important, even though we've tested other NLP-based content editors, we find Clearscope's to be the most sophisticated one. I recommend it to any content marketing agency that creates content for its clients.
There is nothing I'd say I dislike at the moment. So far, so good.
Obviously, we're getting more organic traffic for our clients with Clearscope. One additional benefit is the fact that the tool integrates seamlessly with our clients' content teams. Thus, we don't have to have back-n-forth via email or via commenting on Google Docs. All we do nowadays is prepare a Creation Document with some guidelines on the doc, share the Clearscope Report URL and review the piece when its ready.
Clearscope is so easy and intuitive. Onboarding users is painless and will usually get it from the start. Everyone on the team is now using it and has it integrated to Google Docs so that they don't need to leave their normal workflows. The Clearscope team is great and very responsive to any questions.
So far so good. I love the product and recommended it all the time. I'm excited to see how Clearscope keeps growing and what the future of the product holds.
Most SEO tools I use have content optimization and analysis features, but they don't match up to what Clearscope does.
The interface is really use and I love that I can hand a report to any writer and they are able to "hop in" and learn the ropes without any sort of training.
Try not to sound too robotic by using the words that Clearscope recommends
Clearscope has made the content creation a seamless process where you (a site owner) barely has to be involved and can let the copywriter do all the work.
I love Clearscope's straightforward UX, ease-of-use, and day-to-day utility. It's a lightweight-yet-impactful addition to an SEO's toolkit that I've been using for almost a year — and can't imagine working without. Clearscope is useful for everyone ranging from an experienced search pro to a new-to-SEO employee and delivers great value for its relatively low cost. The Clearscope team is on-call and available to answer questions as they arise, which is an often-overlooked feature of an SEO platform.
I don't really have any issues with Clearscope. Integration with content management systems such as Wordpress or Wagtail would be a bonus.
Clearscope has streamlined and unified under one roof the processes of keyword research, content ideation, and content optimization for our in-house SEO team. It has become an invaluable tool for our team, as we don't publish a piece of content that goes untouched by Clearscope.
Clearscope helps you develop semantically relevant, search intent driven content quickly. It pulls together a simple report on what to include, typical length and helps you think about how topic clusters should come together. It's been great for internal and external users to create new content. It's also great for refreshing old content which is a great way to protect the traffic you've already earned.
The text editor is still a WIP but you can always pull reports into GDocs.
It makes growing and protecting organic traffic simple and allows us to focus on execution rather than ideation.
We started running all our content, as well as upgrading old content, through Clearscope at the beginning of 2019. We've been able to double search traffic from Q1 through the end of Q3 using this approach, plus link building.
I would love a Wordpress add on, which I hear is in Beta. Also, I ran into a few issues with their Google Docs add-on, which has been fixed.
Grow search traffic to around 75,000 to over 150,000 in nine months.
Clearscope systematizes all of the processes that we *used* to do manually in our content research. It's also a godsend for anybody doing client work that isn't a total expert in a given industry.
Right now the product works perfectly for us and is easy to share/explain to others. I have nothing about it that I dislike at this time.
We've been able to do deep competitive content research, as well as content analysis for our own work in a fraction of the time.
Clearscope blends into our content writing process, guiding us in our effort to make the article relevant to the end-user so it ranks at the top of Google search.
I liked Clearscopes tracking! I understand why it's being retired though and that Clearscope's main offering will get even better with laser focus.
Clearscope powers the production of seo-informed content.
Clearscope is so easy to use, and at the same time is the highest impact tool my team uses. We use it to help us structure and craft each and every seo focused blog post. I love that it tells us which keywords are most important and that it gives each piece of content a letter grade so that we know how it stacks up against the SERP. I would never run another content program without it.
There aren't really any downsides to using Clearscope that I can think of.
SEO is such a black box but Clearscope does a great job of make it a little less of a blackbox. It helps us understand what type of content and which topics are currently performing for our target keywords so that we have a fighting chance of publishing a post that will end up on page 1. Our content program is young (less than 1 year old) but we already have a number of posts ranking on page 1 for target keywords - Clearscope has helped us achieve this very fast ranking and growth.
Clearscope is absolutely awesome - it fills the gap that other keyword tools don't have and only humans could do (previously). It shows what topics are covered by similar content to what you're about to write, and is a huuuuge time saver.
It's a semi-young tool so there's always room for improvement! Nothing huge is missing, although could always go for more features!
When we have a keyword we want to write about, but don't know what topics to fully cover, we use Clearscope. It allows us to share a very concrete tool with writers to help craft their content in an SEO-friendly way!
I love how easy Clearscope makes it to find content gaps on a granular level between you and your competitors for any given keyword. This would be prohibitively time-consuming otherwise. That being said, my favorite feature is the content optimization tool. It allows you to easily fill in those gaps while crafting and/or optimizing your content by providing live feedback on your progress. Lastly, the pricing is great for the value you are getting. Similar services are significantly costlier.
That there was no way to integrate it with Google Docs, so as to avoid having to copy-paste the content into Clearscope for analysis. But they're working on making that possible now.
Creating relevant content on a large scale without having to micromanage most of the process. The content optimization tool ensures that your writers don't stray too far from what is expected of them.
So many things: Easily finding out which keywords I didn't include in an article. Using phrases like, "every article we write must be an A++!" Never having to guess if an article should be 1000, 2000, or 3000 words.
As of now, I can't think of anything I dislike.
- Clearscope helps us save time and work more strategically. - Gives us a deeper look into our competitors. - Allows us to create A++ content that drives traffic back to our site.
I've used a lot of SEO tools over the years. They generally feel like they were rushed out, and not designed by someone who ACTUALLY thinks about the way a product might be used on a day-to-day basis. There are other tools that perform a function similar to Clearscope, but nothing else actually integrates into my workflow and does exactly what I need. The data works. We work with a number of well-known B2B SaaS companies and the CS reports make our jobs exponentially easier and have indirectly driven millions of pageviews. My only reservation with writing this review is that more people will start using Clearscope, thereby making every space more competitive.
Wish I had more monthly reports.....but I guess I can pay for them....
- Giving clients contnet recommendations without having to write everything from scratch - getting SEO results
Sounds odd but I have so much fun with Clearscope! I use this tool for work to optimize content, anywhere from 3 to 5 articles per day. This is a game for me, taking our content and having Clearscope do its thing searching relevant articles/subject online FOR ME so I can compare, optimize and get that A++! So satisfying. I am constantly learning with this tool and Clearscope's search for relevant terms and articles are always on point. Great tool!
I'm still thinking about what I dislike about this product...I really can't think of one right now.
Saves time researching for articles/contents to optimize current content.
Clearscope makes it easy for writers without SEO experience to consistently produce content that ranks. We used to manually reverse engineer top ranking results using macros and Ahrefs. It was a semi-automated process. But Clearscope has allowed us to fully automate the process and spares us time/headaches : )
Wish the report overview was a little bit easier to find (always forget you need to click the keyword).
We are shifting away from 24-hour news to evergreen informational content. Clearscope is integrated into the workflow of 30+ writers on our team and removes the need for someone to spot-check SEO prior to publishing.
Clearscope is not bogged down by dozens of fairly useless features like many SEO tools out there. Instead of trying to be the swiss army knife of SEO, Clearscope operates with the precision of a scalpel. It is a very focused tool with a deliberate purpose -- creating content that ranks. Clearscope just makes the whole process of writing content faster and better (from the initial keyword research, outline process, and prepping the final draft).
It would be cool if there was a way to gauge which other types of media would support the content (photo selection, audio, video, etc.), but I'm not sure that's even a thing.
Increasing organic traffic to acquire new leads. Benefits realized: with Clearscope I've been increasing organic traffic and acquiring new leads.
